“Jennifer is a great person who cares for your dog just like they were her own dogs. She asked lots of questions to make sure all of our dogs need were met. We have a pretty hyper dog that needs a lot of time for long walks and Jennifer had no problems taking her for her needed long walks. She also gave lots of doggie snuggles and sent us pictures of our girl while they were out and about. Jennifer is very kind and loving toward our girl and we will most definitely use her any time we are away from home.”

About: I've taken care of pets my entire life! Not only do I have a cat of my own, but I pet-sit for several neighbors/friends of the family and have always been asked back next time they need a sitter. I pride myself on listening to pets and making sure they're comfortable with me; I love learning the unique preferences of every animal! I'm currently working part-time on much my own schedule, so at the moment I am available 24/7. It is my intention for pet care to be my primary job! As I have a cat, I do my best to make sure there isn't fur on my clothes before caring for your pet(s). Additionally, I wash my hands before and after each pet/household. I love playing with any animal and am happy to run around and participate in higher-energy play if needed. I also tailor care to each animal; while I have a usual routine in terms of order of operations (if there's feeding, medicine, cleaning), how each animal is treated depends on their preferences and personality. Unchanging is the respect and care I show to every pet.
“Elizabeth came over for a meet and greet before our first booking. She took notes on all the little details and she did great with Gable on the day of the walk!”

“Absolutely fantastic! Lori was incredibly sweet and patient with both me and my dog. A wonderful dog walker and a wonderful person. I will definitely be using her in the future. Thank you.”

“Leah was amazing! Took beanie’s walks on short notice even though it was an evening walk, which I’m so thankful for! She has great communication - her reports were so detailed and her pictures of Beanie were so cute. When I came home a few hours later, he was still tired so they clearly made the most of his 30 minute walk 🐶 We will definitely re-book with Leah!”
“Emily has great communication and is very reliable, even with the terrible weather and my need for night walks. Beanie had a great time! I love that Emily really listened to Beanie when he was ready to go in and then spoiled Beanie with pets 🥹 will definitely be using Emily again!”

About: Hey my name is Jade. I’m a stay at home girlfriend looking for cats to spoil. I grew up with a handsome feline named Marometas (spanish for cartwheel) and am looking for cats to keep me (and my boyfriend) company. We’ve love to have cats of our own but unfortunately it’s just not in our budget therefore I decided to start cat sitting so we’d have an pet at home that we can love as our own. I’m currently a stay at home girlfriend and I do all the cooking on the weekend so during the week I’m pretty free. We are flexible to whatever your needs are just send me a message and we can work it out. I’m also willing to pet sit other small animals such as rabbits or reptiles. We live in a pet friendly apartment with access to a large grassy area and a dog park just for our community. All the dogs in the community are dna registered and occasionally we’d get other animals such as deer and rabbits that pop by. I have no pets and I plan on only hosting 1 pet at a time. We don’t have any house plants that could be hazardous to animals.

I’m able to work with any dog or cat, whether that be puppies and kittens or your senior animal! I’m currently earning my master’s degree in Athletic Training, so I pet sit while I complete my program. My schedule is pretty open and flexible, which allows me to give your pet plenty of attention and care. I keep my Rover calendar updated and communicate clearly about my availability so you always know when I’m available to help. I live in a clean, pet-friendly two-bedroom apartment with my fiancé, our dog, and two cats. Safety is always my top priority, so introductions to our pets are done slowly and only if everyone is comfortable. I carefully follow your pet’s routine, feeding schedule, medications, and any special instructions. Dogs are always leashed outside, and I provide a calm, supervised environment where they can feel safe and at home.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
