About: I have taken care of dogs (and other animals) for the past seven years now. I started out with family and friends and now i have grown my business! I am currently a full time student at MSU. I am available to help you’re family out during winter break and summer break. I can’t wait to get started! I was raised to be a big rule follower and I am also very very big on safety. Your dog is my number one priority. I am very active and would love to run with your dogs if they like! I am currently working part time with a very flexible schedule. I am open throughout the day to do drop ins, dog walks, and daily sitting. I am also open to staying in your home overnight to care for your pets. I just moved into a new apartment and I’m getting it in shape to be able to have your pets here with me too. :) I have a 800 square-foot apartment that is very clean and entirety. I do not have any pets, and I live in a great area for long dog walks.
“Alice was great this weekend while I was out of town for two days! My two dogs appeared to be very happy with her and were happy as usual when I picked them up! Alice is a great communicator, shared fun pics of my pups while I was gone and was informative. I will happily use her services again!”

“Lauren is GREAT!!!!! She provided care at her home for our dog DEXTER. She sent videos about the care status and sent texts to keep us informed. Lauren has a charming well kept home. The experience left us completely satisfied!!!! YAY...”

“Makayla was great, providing lots of photo/video updates and lots of different activities to keep our pup entertained! We really appreciated the excellent communication, which really helped reassure us that our Walli was having a good experience”
“Molly is great! She has watched Scout twice, and she is prepared for his high energy personality. I love that she has a fenced in backyard he can explore, and her dog Spade is a sweetie who gets along with everyone.”

“Stephanie was terrific! She kept great communication and was very attentive and gave the utmost care while watching my pitbull Dino while I was away. I felt confident leaving her to be responsible for him. She is reliable and trustworthy! Hope Dino can board again with her in the future.”

“Sara and John Patrick took exceptional care of our senior girl. We received regular updates with photos of how she was doing and all of the love she was getting from the family. We are always hesitant to leave her with someone who isn't family, especially as she has gotten older, but we had no concerns after dropping her off. We will highly recommend them to friends and hope to rebook with them when the need arises.”

“Jordan’s communication was top notch!!! Jordan was very attentive to my concerns and was flexible with our pick up/drop off schedule. Most importantly, I felt like Willard was in good hands for the short time we were away. Jordan sent texts and pictures of Willard and kept us updated throughout the stay. Jordan is great!! Highly recommended sitter!”

About: I offer professional care backed by veterinary assistant experience and kennel boarding work. I handle everything from basic health checks and medication schedules to professional grooming needs like bathing, brushing out matted fur, and trimming nails. I have a highly flexible schedule that makes pet care my top priority. Because my routine allows for open availability, I am free for weekday walks, daytime check-ins, and dedicated weekend boarding to give your pet constant attention. I love making pets feel secure and comfortable. My background as a kennel attendant means I provide great safety mixed with plenty of daily attention and care.
About: I have had various pets of my own my entire life including dogs, cats, and reptiles so I have worked with all these at various ages and with all different needs. I am currently studying zoology in school, specifically animal behavior, so I am also currently gaining more education with working with animals in that way as well. I am currently a student and I work part time but I am never gone for more than 4-6 hours at a time and I do a lot of work from home so all pet care would be given plenty of time and attention for any animal in my care. I also already make time for personal exercise to be out and about so that time transitions to walks or time in the park to get out energy. I currently live in a one-bedroom apartment with just me so any pet would get plenty of space to exhibit whatever boundaries they need without interference of other animals or people. I also live very close to various parks that have fenced in areas for dogs and walking trails to walk or run on whenever they need

We had a wonderful experience boarding our Great Dane mix, Rosemary, with Christine. She got lots of walks, attention, and love, and we really appreciated all the photos and updates throughout her stay. It was clear that Rosemary was well cared for and treated like part of the family. We would absolutely recommend Christine and would happily board Rosemary with them again!

Priscena was absolutely wonderful with my cat! She is incredibly caring, attentive, and genuinely loves animals. I could tell that she really cared about pet and enjoyed spending time with him, which made me feel so much more comfortable leaving him in her care. She sent me updates and pictures every day, so I always knew how he was doing. She was also super flexible and accommodating when I needed to change the drop-off time, which I really appreciated. Priscena is such a kind and responsible cat sitter, and I would absolutely trust her with my pet again. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone who will truly care for and love their cat!

Chris gave us so much peace of mind while we were gone. He was confident and poised when it came to caring for our busy puppy, which made it so much easier on us to leave her in his and his family's care. We received beautiful pics of our dog playing and snuggling, and reassurance that she was doing well regularly.
We don’t leave Lincoln very often so we were very happy with her level of comfort with Michaela. She came home happy and Michaela said she was great during her stay. If we need care for our dog again, we will definitely be happy with booking Michaela in the future.

This was the first time using Rover and Alex was just a great choice. She and her family were delightful, sending me pics and keeping me posted. It was a great decision to opt for personal care rather than a kennel. She was flexible, and I would seek her services again based on the good vibes.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in MI ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
