About: If you are looking for a safe, attentive, affectionate place with a work-from-home parent for your smaller dog to stay while you are out of town, I would love to connect! I have a highly responsible, loving household of 5: 2 adults, 2 older children, and one very mellow older shih tzu. I enjoy hosting fur babies of our extended family when they go on trips and realized I would love to welcome more dog guests in our home. I only take one furry guest at a time so I can give them lots of attention. If you have a smaller (25 pounds or less), house trained dog who enjoys children and doesn't mind the presence of another small dog who acts more like a stuffed animal more than a canine, I would love to hear from you! I am home most of the time. We have a large yard and hiking trails within short walking distance from our house. I leave for a few hours at a time , otherwise I will be home with your little one. Old timer? That's okay, we can hang out at home. Little puppy? No worries, I can practice training basic commands. At this time I am working from 7-3:30 Monday-Friday, the rest of my time is spent at home with my pets where I am available to provide the same care I will never put your pet in a situation they are not comfortable with and promise to provide what they need for their safety whether it's personal space, a gated off room, time in a crate or social play time with my owns dogs

About: I've grown up with spayed/unspayed dogs, tiny and medium sized, and have bathed them throughout the years. I'm less experienced with cats as I wasn't allowed one as a kid, but I would always play with and look after my friends' cats when I got the chance 😸 I'm currently a student at Michigan State University, with a part time job as an ice hockey referee. I am usually home 18 hours out of the day most of the days of the week! I live alone in an apartment on an upper floor. 650 sq. ft of space, so it's spacious. There is also an outdoor yard if needed. Caring for your pets will give me breaks between studying and homework! I will treat your pets as if they were my own, and making your pets happy will make me happy! 😊
