The second day Noodle was out of hiding a little, which gave the chance for another photo but more importantly, showed me that even shy Noodle was comfortable with Laura, which is remarkable! “Liz took exceptional care of my two kitties while I was away on a week-long vacation. She came over daily to give them both wet food, clean their litter boxes, and give my problem child cat his daily dose of miralax. 😀 I feel it’s important to note that my cats are not simple creatures. One of them eats too fast and needs his wet food served on a puzzle feeder. The other one eats too slow and will walk away from his food unless someone is holding his plate while he eats. Liz followed all directions (no matter how ridiculous the request) and more importantly, she didn’t make me feel silly for asking. Liz is reliable, so warm and friendly, and gentle with animals. I came home to happy, well cared for fur babies (who are probably wondering when they will see their new friend next) I will be rebooking and absolutely recommend her to others!”

About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my lifelong, hands-on experience caring for dogs. I’ve had two dogs my entire life and have been actively involved in feeding, walking, playing with, and looking after them as part of my daily routine. Because of this, I understand how important it is to give pets attention, consistency, and genuine care. I treat every dog like my own and focus on making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and happy while you’re away. I am a student so I am busy from about 8-2 Monday - Thursday but after that I am free to give any pet all the attention they need. Sundays I am free pretty much all day. I can take them for multiple walks a day. I have a small yard but live in a neighborhood where they will love to walk around and explore. I also have a park next door to my house that they can run around and play in that is fenced in. I currently do not have other dogs living with me but have room for dog living.

About: I have a dog of my own named Suzy, who is an 8-year old rescue! She tends to be quite reactive, and has also dealt with neurological issues, so I am very comfortable caring for dogs of all temperaments, abilities and ages. I’ve also had family dogs my entire life, so I have a lot of experience in medication administration, basic care like feeding and walks, and socialization. I’ve also volunteered with my local Humane Society and a non-profit that raises and trains future service dogs for veterans with PTSD. Lastly, I have experience pet-sitting cats and guinea pigs, so I’d be happy to look after your other pets as well! I will be graduating from MSU this spring and sticking around East Lansing throughout the summer before I go to law school. My schedule will be very free and flexible the entirety of May, June and most of July, including holidays! Taylor was so amazing and relieved so much of our stress knowing someone so great was taking care of our babies. Our dogs are very high anxiety and can be a handful but she did so well with them. Had a great experience with Courtney! Her communication was great throughout booking and the entire stay, she’s a very sweet person too and I had no doubt that my cat was in responsible and loving hands while I was gone. I may not be able to ask my cat’s opinion, but for a few days after I came back he would sit at my front door around the time she was coming for the drop in visits and I’m pretty sure he was hoping his new friend would come visit, so she has his seal of approval, too.

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
