I will carefully follow all instructions and routines to ensure your pet feels secure and cared for. Whether it’s a drop-in visit for companionship or a walk around the neighborhood, I will provide attentive, trustworthy care in a loving environment that helps your pet feel at ease while you’re away.

About: I’ve grown up with animals my whole life, and being around them fills me with joy! I’ve had four family dogs & several cats over the years, many of which have now crossed the rainbow bridge and I find myself lucky to have spent their few years of life with them. That being said, I know how special the bond is with a fur-baby, and I treat each one I meet like my own :) I’ve also had the privilege of caring for pets through overnight/extended stays and drop-ins for neighbors, friends, family, and many others who heard about me from those close connections. Whether your furbaby is high-energy, needs medication, or just wants a cuddle buddy, I’m comfortable meeting them where they’re at, no matter their training experience. I’d consider it a true honor to care for your pet(s) and make sure they feel safe, loved, and happy while you’re away! My schedule is flexible and can vary weekly, when I accept a request I do my best to fit my schedule to ensure I have an adequate amount of time to spend hanging out with your furbabie(s)! When it comes to caring for your animals in your home I am totally open to following whatever guidelines you are most comfortable with! I have experience with crating pups even if they’re new to it, walking, bathing, administering medication, and more. I also will water plants, bring in mail, and other small household duties when I drop-in at your place.

About: I am a life long pet lover. I have had over 30 years experience with dogs, cats and horses. I have professional experience training and caring for dogs. My main objective is to get your dog the fresh air, exercise and attention he needs. We hike local trails, walk through scenic parks and neighborhoods, always keeping your pup’s safety and enjoyment top priority. No more feeling guilty about leaving your best friend behind. Your dog will be happy and tired when you come home! Exercise is the first step to solving behavior issues at home. I track our walk or hike so you can see all the fun your pup has had. Dogs may be paired with a buddy of the same fitness level for walks or hikes. I have experience with dogs of all sizes and breeds. My fur babies are a Doberman and a Shepard Mix so I have lots of experience with high energy dogs. Your pet is my priority. When I am walking or caring for your fur baby, your pet is my main focus. Even on busy days your pets time is protected. Communication is the key when it comes to caring for your pet. The more I know about your fur baby the better care I can give 🐕

Yes, you can find walkers who have experience with handling special pet needs in Delta Charter. On Rover:

  • 94% of walkers can help with special care needs
  • 100% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 96% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
