I'm generally available Mondays from 9:30 am-1 pm, Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 9:30 am-7:30 pm, Thursdays from 6-9 pm, Fridays from 9:30 am-7:30 pm, and weekends that I mark available. I’m flexible when it comes to not always needing to walk or watch a dog or other animal at the same time and day each week, as long as it fits within my listed availability.

Information Abby T. would like to know about your pet
Before providing services for pets, I would like to know about their energy level, their usual care routine, how well they walk on a leash if applicable, any pertinent medical/health information, and any behavioral issues. I don't have any breed preferences or restrictions, I'm willing to work with any kind of dog, cat or other animal. Large dogs are welcome too, so long as they aren't difficult to handle on a leash. For house-sitting, I also like to know how long your pet(s) can be left alone. I am not able to provide constant, 24/7 care, which would mean not leaving your home at all for the duration of the booking. I need flexibility to be able to leave for a few hours a day to care for my own pets and to tend to other responsibilities. I ensure I'm not gone for more than 4-5 hours at a time, and generally only need to leave once a day.
A typical day
Your pet and I can play with their favorite toys and do their favorite activities together. I can play with them in the water if that's something they like to do, we can go for walks in their favorite places, you name it!

I have been pet-sitting on Rover on and off again since 2020. During this time, I've taken care of numerous dogs and cats of different ages, sizes, breeds, and backgrounds. I worked at a doggy daycare for about five months. I took care of dogs that came in for daycare and overnight boarding. I volunteered at my local humane society for about six years. During my time there, I walked a variety of dogs and played with and pet dogs and cats. I have experience with reactive dogs and dogs with separation anxiety. One of my dogs took medication for epilepsy for most of his life, so I'm comfortable with administering pills to dogs. Through my own dogs and my previous job, I have experience with senior dogs and with deaf and visually-impaired dogs. I am experienced with caring for bunnies (I have two of my own). I am also open to caring for other pets like hamsters, guinea pigs, rats, ferrets, etc.

Abby took great care of our dog during the scheduled drop in visit. She is accommodating and responds quickly to booking requests. Our dog seemed very relaxed and happy during the visit.
Abby did great doing drop-in visit with our 2 cats and corgi. She followed instructions and even went to extra effort to make sure our cat with a sensitive stomach doesn't eat the other cat's food. She also walked our pup twice within the one hour drop-in visit which is very much appreciated. We're definitely rebooking with her in the future!
She is so sweet and wonderful, and I just just tell Judge absolutely loves his time with her. He always looks comfortable and happy in every photo she sends me, and she will send a lot of them. Judge is reactive and she worked well with him. Would highly highly recommend using her!!!
Thank you Abby! We felt so much better knowing someone was taking care of our cats. Good communication and sent some lovely pictures.
