About: Animals have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember! One of the most rewarding parts of my pet-care journey has been fostering. I'm currently a pet care specialist and foster with Capital Area Humane Society (CAHS) and have also fostered for other shelters in the past. About: I've taken care of family and friends dogs for about 30 years. I can train puppy and adult dog in basic obedience. For senior dogs will be more attentive and show love. If you have a special need's dog such as leg wheelchair or any type of disability and I would love to learn how to take care of it. I will love them back with all my heart. I understand their disabilities and will give them a great care at 100%. I'm working a part-time on flexible days. I still find time to spends with dogs. I love to play with your fur babies. I will walk the fur babies on a daily routine. I use leach in the backyard since there is no fence yard. I live in a townhouse and do not have fence yard. I use 20 feet leach attached to my deck. I will take them to the dog parks, which I enjoyed to see them run and play.

About: I have been on rover for almost 3 years now, I have experience in all care fields (child, adult, and animal), and am also a licensed massage therapist. I have 6 adorable Pugbulls and one cat.I've cared for fish, cats, and dogs. In a 30min time block I can usually walk a little over a mile with a dog, even if they want to stop and sniff around a bit. I love all animals and am always willing to look after new types of animals! Unfortunately I’m not currently taking on new weekly walks, I will update this should that change. About: I have had a dog in my family since I was a toddler. In my life, my family has had one Golden Retriever, and 6 Pomeranians. We rescued 3 of these pups! And all at one time, we had 4 Pomeranians - making me have to really help out with training and dog care. My family has always been passionate about animals, specifically dogs. We emphasize the importance of taking care of a pet as if it’s a family member. I grew up helping take care of them: Training, walks, runs, bike rides, meals, hiking, car rides, cuddles, brushing, baths, vet appointments. Additionally, I always ensure my rescue dogs feel comfortable in their new home. Naturally, all dogs are easily comfortable with me. I always drive hours home just to spend time with my fur babies with my parents. Once I learned about this app, I instantly downloaded it. Although, all throughout my childhood I had pets of all kinds such as parakeets, guinea pigs, gerbils, mice, snakes, and fish. After leaving the boarding industry, I decided to become a Vet Tech, to further pursue my passion. I have 4 years of vet tech experience total, some spent working in a high volume-low cost hospital, so I am confident I can handle just about anything, and have seen it all! I’m am capable of caring for all kinds of pets like Guinea pigs, rabbits, reptiles, to name a few; and of course, dogs and cats of all sizes. I have a soft spot for feisty chihuahuas and seniors! I have plenty of experience with dogs and cats that may be labeled as “difficult”, and will always be willing to do a meet and greet as many times as needed, beforehand to ensure they are comfortable while you’re away. I can safely administer medications orally, topically, or injections such as insulin. My experience as a vet tech has given me knowledge and tools that I use to ensure your pet stays safe, secure, and stress-free in a potentially stressful situation, as I understand some fur babies may have separation anxiety. I do accept drop-ins during my overnight stays, sometimes having to step out multiple times a day for a couple hours, so if that is something that will not work for your pets, please let me know so I can accommodate accordingly. I’m very big on reading body language, and I feel it goes a long way to making your pets feel at ease while you’re away. Comfort for your fur babies and peace of mind for you are part of the package deal! I’m available for overnight stays, and drop ins for any species. Drop ins always welcome! I can provide breakfast, lunch, dinner, even a bed time visit, and plenty of cuddles and playtime for kitties and pups who need that stimulation. I send you tons of pictures and updates throughout the day so you’ll never have to wonder what your pets are getting up to. If you like your update photos, ask about booking a private photo session, shot using a professional camera! I now provide full-time pet care services! We can work around your existing schedule so not much has to change for them. No routine is too extravagant! Currently, I do not offer boarding. I have a ton of in-home pet sitting experience and feel it’s easier on your pets when they get to stay home.

It is very comforting to know Lisa also has a senior chihuahua, and is very experienced with dog care. About: Hi! Thanks for taking the time to read my profile. To put it simply, I am an animal lover. I’ve spent a good part of my life volunteering with animals, helping wildlife rehab, pet-sitting and caring for my own amazing pets. I treat every pet as if they were own, with nothing but love, kindness and respect. It’s scary leaving our pets alone with someone, but I want to assure you that your furry friends will receive the best care possible. I will adhere to your typical schedule and rules, if you have any, and provide extra care if needed (bathing for those times they decide to take a mud bath, for example). I’m all too happy to text and send photos to clients of their pet while they are away, as I believe communication is important and can help ease our natural anxieties about leaving our pets. The only thing I want you to focus on is enjoying that vacation or getting caught up on work—whatever it is that you need a sitter for! I’m currently a psychology student but am fortunate enough to have all my classes online, allowing me extra time to spend with my pets. My pets are diligently cared for daily, including walks, scheduled feeding times, and scooping litter multiple times a day. With my open schedule I can give them the best care they need. Safety is my number one priority. No outside trips without a leash, being observant and picking up things they may get in to, checking fences, and just general looking out for them. Animals are curious and often times it only takes a second for them to be somewhere they’re not supposed to or be eating something bad for them; it’s my job to make sure that doesn’t happen!

About: I've grown up with spayed/unspayed dogs, tiny and medium sized, and have bathed them throughout the years. I'm less experienced with cats as I wasn't allowed one as a kid, but I would always play with and look after my friends' cats when I got the chance 😸 I'm currently a student at Michigan State University, with a part time job as an ice hockey referee. I am usually home 18 hours out of the day most of the days of the week! I live alone in an apartment on an upper floor. 650 sq. ft of space, so it's spacious. There is also an outdoor yard if needed. Caring for your pets will give me breaks between studying and homework! I will treat your pets as if they were my own, and making your pets happy will make me happy! 😊
