I’m a pet parent to both dogs and cats, so I know firsthand what it means to leave your animals with someone and hope they’re truly cared for — not just fed and checked on. I bring that same warmth and attentiveness to every sit. As a remote consultant and student, I work from wherever I am — which means your pets can have company during the day if that’s what’s best for them. I’m a longtime pet owner, which means I’m dependable, communicative, and genuinely animal-centered. Your home will be respected, your animals will be loved on, and you’ll actually enjoy your time away knowing someone fun and trustworthy is holding things down. I take feeding schedules, medications, and training rules seriously — because consistency is what keeps your pets feeling safe and settled while you’re gone. The goal is that your travel is disruptive to you as little as possible, and to your pets not at all. I value clear, direct communication and will keep you updated so you’re never left wondering how things are going. I’ll bring that same straightforwardness from our first message all the way through drop-off. I’m comfortable with dogs, cats, and small animals, and I love getting to know each pet’s personality and quirks. Whether your dog needs a playmate or your cat just wants company on the couch, I’m here for it.

In your home, my goal is to keep things as close to normal as possible. I follow your lead on space, boundaries, and routines — whether that means crate time, free roam, or somewhere in between. You know your pet best and I’m here to honor that. My activity style matches the pet. Some animals want to play and roughhouse, others want a warm body nearby while they nap. I pay attention to what they’re telling me and respond accordingly — no forcing, no overstimulating, no ignoring. For cats specifically I understand that trust is earned on their timeline, not mine. I’ll be present and available without being intrusive, and I’ll make sure their food, water, litter, and any medications are handled consistently every single day. For dogs I make sure they’re getting outside regularly, staying on their feeding schedule, and getting the kind of engagement that fits their energy level.

I am a very nervous animal parent. I want the best care that I could give when I’m not there, and honestly.. Tashmica was that. She cared for Melon, Gimli and Pickles like they were her own animals. I got videos and photos of the times they had together, and hearing that my old baby boy who doesn’t do well around new people was able to get petted, I knew I made the right chose. Even when I would check the cameras in the home, melon did not look stressed, or seemed like she wasn’t having fun whenever Tashmica would come over so it was an absolute win-win for me! I will absolutely be requesting her whenever I am going out of town and the animals need to be watched.

Schedule
Every sit is a little different, and I think that’s how it should be — your pet’s needs shape how I show up, not the other way around. I work remotely as a consultant and student, so my schedule shifts week to week. What stays consistent is this: feeding times, medications, and check-ins happen on schedule regardless of what else I have going on. Those are non-negotiable. For house sitting I’ll be upfront during our meet and greet about what my week looks like so you know exactly what to expect. If I’m in a lighter work week I may be home most of the day. If it’s a heavier one, your pet will still be cared for on schedule with daily updates and photos so you’re always in the loop. I send daily check-ins and photo updates through the app — not because I have to, but because I’d want the same if it were my pet.
