Depending on yours and your pets needs, I will spend time playing with your pet, taking them out to use the restroom, cleaning up litter boxes and refilling if needed. I will also kennel them if requested before I leave. I always give fresh water and if requested food and of course all the petting and attention they desire!

I require a meet and greet with new pets and owners before working with them. I like to know any behavioral problems, medical issues, and bite history. I will also ask how they are on a leash, when they are being handled (meaning being picked up for smaller dogs and grabbing collar of medium to large dogs), and how they are with meeting new people and other dogs.
A typical day
I like to play fetch and tug-a-war with the pups I watch, and play with a flirt pole with the cats I watch (if they like to play). I typically hangout on the floor with them and give lots of pets and kisses to more laid back pups. I also like teaching dogs new tricks (with approval first), and do some training for fun.

Pet care experience
I started dog walking and pet sitting, cats and dogs, in 2006. I have experience with dogs and cats of all ages and sizes. I can administer oral medication and ear medication if requested. I am a Certified Dog Trainer, as well as Certified in First Aid and CPR for Pets via Pro Trainings. I also have a Fear Free Shelter Certification and Volunteer at ICACS.

I’ve been using Denni for a year since I travel pretty regularly for work. She’s nothing short of amazing. Lots of good updates, she clearly spends a lot of time loving on them and she makes my life so much less stressful knowing she’s watching them while I’m gone. Can’t recommend her highly enough!

Denni is great! Very reliable every week! She’s non-judgmental of the inside of my place, which is much appreciated. When I tell my dogs in the morning that Denni is coming, they get so excited. I highly recommend, as long as you don’t try and take my time slot lol
Denni watched our kitties while we visited family for a week. We loved the photos and check-ins each time Denni stopped by! Communication was excellent when one of our kitties was getting into trouble, haha, and the kitties liked the pets and attention too. It was so nice to not worry at all while we were away. We love Denni and will definitely book with them in the future!
