About: Hi there! I am so excited to finally be making my pet-sitting official with Rover. I am still new-ish to the area after having moved back in with my parents a little less than a year ago (originally from New Jersey, then moved to California for college and work). I have had the pleasure of taking care of my family dog (Winnie the Cavapoo) since we got her 9 years ago. Hanging out with her is one of my favorite things to do, and she truly makes each day better with every walk we go on and every cuddle we share. I've also gotten to dog-sit for some of my best friends and locals while I was in college, and it really helped me whenever I was missing my Winnie girl! My only hope is to provide you with peace of mind that your pup is in good hands with me! My schedule is pretty wide open and flexible! If there is a time/day on my schedule that looks unavailable, message me and I'll see if I can move things around to make it work (as I share a car with a family member). If you need me to come over and pet-sit at your home, I will respect all the rules you provide me with so you are comfortable with having me in your home while I watch your fur baby. Please let me know in advance to your booking if your pet is allowed on furniture, or in certain areas of your home, and what/where are absolute no-go's, so I can remember to keep them away from those areas. If you use a crate with them, please let me know how you use it with them - if they must be crated the entirety of time while indoors aside from meal and potty times, or if for certain periods of time. If you have a backyard that is fenced and secure, I am comfortable with letting them of their leash (if you permit it) so they have free reign to run around, but if it is not an enclosed space, I am not comfortable letting them off their leash, even if they are trained perfectly - just want to be safe and take all the precautions I can to make sure they are safe while with me!

“Had the opportunity to have Jaime watch my dog overnight after using Jaime as a walker. I can tell you we couldn't be more pleased after having Ernie spend 3 nights at Jaime's house.”

About: Hi, I’m a lifelong dog lover with hands-on experience caring for dogs of all ages, including puppies and overnight pet sitting for friends. I’ve cared for dogs in home settings, taken them on walks and runs, and understand how important it is to keep pets safe, active, and comfortable while their owners are away. I’m 25, I have my B.S. in biology, and have a naturally attentive, calm, and responsible approach to animal care. I genuinely enjoy spending time with dogs and making sure they feel cared for, exercised, and at ease. Whether your dog loves long walks, playtime, or just some extra company and consistency, I’m happy to meet their needs. I recently returned from traveling and currently have very open availability over the next few months before relocating to California, which gives me plenty of flexibility for walks, drop-ins, or overnight care. I'm looking forward to connecting with you and your furry loved ones (: I currently have a very flexible schedule and open availability, which allows me to accommodate walks, drop-ins, and overnight care throughout the week. I’m available on weekdays, weekends, and for last-minute bookings when needed. My schedule is especially open over the next couple months, so I’m able to be dependable, flexible, and give your pet plenty of time and attention. Your pet’s safety and comfort always come first. I make it a priority to follow each dog’s routine closely so they feel secure, comfortable, and well cared for while you’re away. I’m attentive to feeding schedules, exercise needs, potty breaks, and any specific instructions you provide, and I always make sure pets are supervised, safe, and getting the attention they need. In a client’s home, I’m respectful of both your space and your pet’s routine, keeping their environment calm, clean, and familiar. I pay close attention on walks, avoid unsafe situations, and make sure dogs are secure, comfortable, and well cared for at all times. My goal is always to create a safe, dependable, and low-stress experience for both pets and owners.
About: I’ve been a cat lover my whole life and would love to meet yours! I have 3 medically complex 4 yr old kitties with allergies, autoimmune conditions, urinary issues, and anal gland infections. I administer oral pills and liquid twice daily for them, and have experience with subcutaneous injections. The first cats in my life were outdoor cats in rural Michigan. Some of my fondest memories are of the excitement on the bus ride home from school to play with my cat when I got home. While in college, I raised a kitten with my partner at the time and introduced a second cat a year later. They were both super energetic and loved play time with catnip toys! After that, I adopted a senior kitty who ended up being my first medically complex fur baby. She had her remaining teeth removed recently when I adopted her, but we dealt with chronic ear and eye infections as well as inflammatory bowel disease. A few months after she passed, she sent me my current three medically complex fur babies to look after. My experience with dogs is less extensive, but I’d still love to meet yours! Growing up we’d dog sit for my grandpa’s medium sized dog and my best friend had 2 wire fox terriers. More recently, I’ve watched my friend’s tiny chihuahua for a few days who got along well with my cats 🐶🐱 I am currently in between jobs, previously working as a software developer and project manager. I have lots of availability for drop-in visits and walks any day of the week 😸🐾 Your pet’s health, safety, and happiness are my top priority as a pet sitter. Please let me know about any medical concerns, so I can properly care for your pet. I will diligently follow care instructions and provide detailed updates on your pet. I will also ensure your home is the same if not cleaner than when I entered if applicable.
About: I'm an animal lover with a natural way with animals. Though I've only cared for roommates' pets in the past, I love to pay it forwards to everyone! In between jobs right now, I have open availability and am happy to be the last minute sitter you hope you never needed and are glad to have. Keeping them in a routine is important. I'm respectful of my clients' property and loving of their animals while also providing structure to them all

“Julia was wonderful with our dogs, and her communication was excellent throughout the entire process. She was incredibly patient, quickly bonded with them, and made us feel completely at ease while we were away. It was clear that she genuinely cared about our pets. We highly recommend Julia and would gladly have her care for our dogs again! Shannon”
“We couldn’t be happier with Jennifer! She walks our 90 pound dog, Willow, who can be very skittish and isn’t always comfortable around other dogs. From the very beginning, she has been incredibly patient, calm, and understanding with Willow, taking the time to build trust at Willow’s pace. She always provides detailed updates after each walk, which gives us so much peace of mind. We love hearing how Willow did and any little wins along the way. It’s clear she genuinely cares and pays close attention to Willow’s needs and behavior. She’s also been very reliable, communicative, and flexible when needed. Knowing our large, sometimes nervous dog is in such capable and caring hands means everything to us. We highly recommend Jennifer to anyone looking for a trustworthy, compassionate, and professional dog walker, especially if your dog needs a little extra understanding like ours does.”
“Thank you for walking amber again. She is always so excited to walk with someone other than me and she loves it when you take her to the park. Hope you continue to enjoy Amber”

About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life. Even though I’ve never owned one personally, I’ve always been the first to step into ‘owner mode’ whenever a puppy or dog needed love, attention, or comfort. Animals have a special place in my heart, and I genuinely enjoy giving them affection, patience, and care. I treat every pet like they’re my own and make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away :) I’m currently working part-time and also in school, so my weekly schedule can vary. However, I’m typically available on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, and I often have open availability during weekdays as well. I’m flexible and can usually adjust my schedule to fit your pet’s needs. When caring for pets in your home, I follow your instructions closely and keep your pet’s routine as normal as possible. I’m gentle, patient, and very attentive to each animal’s comfort level. I make sure food, water, and potty breaks are handled safely, and I always keep doors and gates secure. I also send updates and photos during every visit so you can feel confident that your pet is safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away :))
About: I’ve worked at my local animal shelter for the past three summers as well as interning at a couple of vet clinics. I’m confident in reading animal cues and providing based on pets’ needs. I have a great passion for taking care of animals, especially those that you hold near and dear. I’m currently home for the summer and fitting in Rover during my free weekdays. I am flexible and will do everything I can to adjust to your preferred schedule! I prioritize your individual pets’ needs. Care will be completed in a timely manner, respectfully, and with utmost care towards your pet. Feel free to send instructions or details about your pet so I can best provide for them!
“Alyssa is absolutely amazing!!! Rogue loved her walk with her. She was so great with Rogue and definitely felt safe having her take her out and about. Thank you again!!”

“Merry Christmas to you, Kathleen and John! Thank you for taking care of Pixie for Amanda! We appreciate your help! Many Blessings to you and yours in the New Year!!”
About: I've had pets all my life (cats, dogs, fish, even a frog!) and did animal rescue for several years in Arizona- helping at adoption events, home visits, fostering kitties, a mama cat with 5 babies, & about a dozen dogs/puppies. I moved back to IL and am raising my 2 children and working from home. We have even rented baby chicks to help a local farm, so my kids understand pet care too. I truly understand how hard it is to find good, comforting help with pets and been there myself. I love all animals and currently have a senior female dog at home. I have proven to be a reliable helper to friends, family, neighbors, and even strangers. I've been able to save loose dogs and reunite them because of my calm demeanor with animals. I always love to give a hand to others and understand pets are family. I currently work remotely from home and have some flexibility during the day after 8AM while working and often done with work by 4PM, some days earlier. I have some kid activities on weekends, but generally home and my dog here is very laid back, sweet, and tolerates the young pups even and still loves to outrun them even lol. I have availability most on weekends for walks, but can try to arrange things time to time. I can squeeze in let outs when not in meetings with clients. I would let you know if time doesn't permit before accepting. My yard is fenced in completely and my senior dog is very nice and will help keep them feeling comfortable. I have extra crates if needed, depending upon the service needed. I am happy to drive a reasonable distance to help with yours. If overnight at your home, please note I'd need my kids to come with me when they are out of elementary school, but they are very respectful and well behaved animal lovers too. I understand pets are family and safety is important to me too.
About: I have taken care of dogs, along with several different exotic animals including reptiles, fresh and saltwater aquariums for over 15years. Friends and family have relied on me to watch their animals when needed. I work as a clinician for Northwestern Medicine and wanting to earn some extra cash in my downtime to help may down those pesky student loans. With taking care of your pet in your home, I maintain the same (or similar) schedule as you would normally have them on. I also make sure to keep an eye out for any odd behavior that might signal sickness or pain and communicate that to the pet parent and even take the animal to the vet if requested.

Alphonse is the best! He came today even though it was so cold. Had I known it was below 0 degrees I would have canceled today. Neither Alphonse nor my dog should have been out. They started their walk and Norma showed that she was cold and her paws were suffering. I’m so grateful that he had the good sense to bring her home before the scheduled end to her walk!
