About: While in high school, I took care of the 2 dogs in my life (a mini dachshund and a greyhound/black lab mix). As an adult, I offered my knowledge to petsit several other dogs. I do not own any dogs myself, but I love all breeds. I am currently unemployed, so I have free availability at this point. I used to work 3rd shift, so I'm more used to evening hours, but I can work whenever you need me there. I will follow your instructions for how to care for your animal, never going beyond that without your express permission (something I expect from those watching my own animals). There are a few walking trails near my home that I am willing to take your dog on, if you approve.

“Kathleen has been caring for my English Bulldog Nigel while I travel for business. She has proven to be a true dog lover - patient, loving and caring. She treats Nigel with love and tenderness. He has extreme allergies and needs eye drops twice daily and a weekly grooming at the dog spa. Kathleen has taken him to his weekly bath and back home. His groomer has commented multiple times what a terrific dog sitter she is and that he is in good hands when I am gone. Kathleen is personable, friendly and professional. But most importantly Nigel loves her. He is excited to see her every time she arrives. He is comfortable with her and shows no anxiety being with her when I leave. He is calm and relaxed when I arrive home and that means the world to me. I highly recommend Kathleen as a dog sitter/dog walker.”

Right now I have three- a tiny Chihuahua, a medium Carolina mix, and a HUGE Rhodesian Ridgeback. I trained them myself and they are my whole world! I would be happy to work on some training with your dog, I really have a passion for it.💜 I work full-time, so I'm mostly available in the evenings. I am usually off on Sunday and Monday or Sunday and Friday so I have more time on those days. I can do whatever is required for each specific dog. I have no problem getting dogs in and out of crates, walking any size dog while working on leash manners if desired by the owner, feeding and playing, whatever your pup needs!
