“Thank you as always Aaron for being so great with June. She loves her Aaron time. I am so glad she is letting you do your job now, and not just thinking you are there to play with her, lol.”

“I've booked Jacqueline and Uriel a few times now and they are always great. Super flexible, communicative, reliable, and my dachshund Ladybug LOVES them. Thank you! 💗”

“Janet is amazing! She has been helping my husband and I while at work for a few months now and our dog, Nico, loves her! My favorite thing is seeing Nico’s Rover Card with updates on how he did on his walk and a few pictures of him.”

“Fred has been an absolute blessing to our family. Moochy like him immediately and trusted him. She’s usually pretty skittish. Fred was always on time, willing to be flexible if needed, and was just really good with Moochy. I needed someone who was strong to walk mooch because she’s big and strong. Fred had no trouble with it. I had absolute faith in Fred’s ability to handle her. And when Mooch saw his car pull up, she was so happy. I have no trouble recommending Fred to be your dog walker.”

“Catarina has a general niceness about her and was able to connect with our dog Miley quickly. She understood the little things that would help make Miley feel comfortable. We truly appreciate having found her and will miss her, as we have moved to Florida, but we will continue to let people know about her. Thank you Catarina for everything, especially the peace of mind you gave us while we were away from our girl.”

“Super communicative, really showed that she cared about taking really good care of my dog 🐶 on the walks, and left really awesome and helpful notes with each trip!”

About: Hi there! I am so excited to finally be making my pet-sitting official with Rover. I am still new-ish to the area after having moved back in with my parents a little less than a year ago (originally from New Jersey, then moved to California for college and work). I have had the pleasure of taking care of my family dog (Winnie the Cavapoo) since we got her 9 years ago. Hanging out with her is one of my favorite things to do, and she truly makes each day better with every walk we go on and every cuddle we share. I've also gotten to dog-sit for some of my best friends and locals while I was in college, and it really helped me whenever I was missing my Winnie girl! My only hope is to provide you with peace of mind that your pup is in good hands with me! My schedule is pretty wide open and flexible! If there is a time/day on my schedule that looks unavailable, message me and I'll see if I can move things around to make it work (as I share a car with a family member). If you need me to come over and pet-sit at your home, I will respect all the rules you provide me with so you are comfortable with having me in your home while I watch your fur baby. Please let me know in advance to your booking if your pet is allowed on furniture, or in certain areas of your home, and what/where are absolute no-go's, so I can remember to keep them away from those areas. If you use a crate with them, please let me know how you use it with them - if they must be crated the entirety of time while indoors aside from meal and potty times, or if for certain periods of time. If you have a backyard that is fenced and secure, I am comfortable with letting them of their leash (if you permit it) so they have free reign to run around, but if it is not an enclosed space, I am not comfortable letting them off their leash, even if they are trained perfectly - just want to be safe and take all the precautions I can to make sure they are safe while with me!

About: I've loved dogs my whole life and have owned three of my own, giving me firsthand experience with their daily care, exercise, and companionship. In addition to caring for my own pets, I've looked after dogs and cats for family members, friends, and neighbors. I also have cared for two mini doodles for several weeks over the past few summers, along with the families pet lizard and guinea pig. Additionally, I regularly volunteer at a local animal shelter, where I walk and play with dogs of all sizes and help feed and socialize cats. I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals and am committed to making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while you're away. I am currently working part time, so I will have plenty of time to check in on your pets throughout the day! I can also take your dogs out for walks, multiple times a day if needed. I will follow instructions you leave to make sure I am giving your pets everything they need. I have no problem taking dogs to dog parks or for long walks depending on their needs.
“Samantha is AMAZING! She took care of our 2 dogs for a full week. She sent fotos and updates each day. The dogs loved her!! We will definitely ask her to take care of our dogs for any future needs.”
“Jennifer is absolutely wonderful, so attentive and thoughtful with our pup. She’s the perfect peace of mind to know our pup is happy, safe and having a great time. Her communication is superb and her kindness is unmatched. So grateful for her!”

“Jessica did an amazing job walking my pitbull! She was punctual, professional, and clearly experienced with handling dogs. My pup came back happy and well-exercised. She was also very communicative, giving me updates during the walk, which I really appreciated. I highly recommend Jessica to anyone looking for a reliable and caring dog walker. Will definitely be booking with her again!”

About: I’ve been a cat lover my whole life and would love to meet yours! I have 3 medically complex 4 yr old kitties with allergies, autoimmune conditions, urinary issues, and anal gland infections. I administer oral pills and liquid twice daily for them, and have experience with subcutaneous injections. The first cats in my life were outdoor cats in rural Michigan. Some of my fondest memories are of the excitement on the bus ride home from school to play with my cat when I got home. While in college, I raised a kitten with my partner at the time and introduced a second cat a year later. They were both super energetic and loved play time with catnip toys! After that, I adopted a senior kitty who ended up being my first medically complex fur baby. She had her remaining teeth removed recently when I adopted her, but we dealt with chronic ear and eye infections as well as inflammatory bowel disease. A few months after she passed, she sent me my current three medically complex fur babies to look after. My experience with dogs is less extensive, but I’d still love to meet yours! Growing up we’d dog sit for my grandpa’s medium sized dog and my best friend had 2 wire fox terriers. More recently, I’ve watched my friend’s tiny chihuahua for a few days who got along well with my cats 🐶🐱 I am starting a new remote job in digital accessibility. I’m expecting to have flexibility to squeeze a visit or 2 in during workday hours, but am happily available mornings, evenings, and weekends 😸🐾 Your pet’s health, safety, and happiness are my top priority as a pet sitter. Please let me know about any medical concerns, so I can properly care for your pet. I will diligently follow care instructions and provide detailed updates on your pet. I will also ensure your home is the same if not cleaner than when I entered if applicable.
About: I have an insane passion for all types of animals, big. small, furry, scaley, bring it on! All of my past jobs have been related to animals and animal care and im intending to keep it that way forever! I'm a recent graduate so all I have is time! I also am looking to adding more walking to my schedule so caring for your animals will be a huge plus for me 🙏 I intend to treat your pets exactly how they need. Playful? no worries! I love to play! Withdrawn? that's okay! I won't push their boundaries!

What I offer: • Lots of love, cuddles, and playtime • Safe, fun walks (I love going on long walks and exploring nature trails!) • Experience with administering medications • Knowledge of special diets and health needs (my own dog is on a GI-friendly diet, so I understand how important it is to follow food schedules carefully) Your pet’s safety and happiness always come first. I’ll keep you updated with photos and messages so you can feel at ease knowing your best friend is in good hands. Let’s set up your pup’s next walk or playdate — I can’t wait to meet them! 🐶💛 I currently work full time as a nurse on night shift. I have a lot of flexibility in the day to watch dogs due to working at night! I have 2 friendly dogs Lali and Phoebe in my home. Dogs are leashed at all times when outside. If you have a special diet for your pet please let me know as well as a food schedule! I understand special dietary needs for pets. My dog Phoebe herself is on a low fat GI diet due to chronic pancreatitis.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Lake in the Hills
We were struck by Hannah's genuine pleasantness and likability from the get-go. Our dog, a Belgian Malinois with an attitude and stubborness, sniffed Hannah and within moments rolled over to have her belly rubbed. Taking a walk with us and our dog, she listened carefully to our description of our furry family member, her characteristics, nuances, and nature. Over three visits, the walks became longer and easier, Hannah was able to coax our dog into wanting to explore. We look forward to her next visit and recommend her highly.

Alphonse is the best! He came today even though it was so cold. Had I known it was below 0 degrees I would have canceled today. Neither Alphonse nor my dog should have been out. They started their walk and Norma showed that she was cold and her paws were suffering. I’m so grateful that he had the good sense to bring her home before the scheduled end to her walk!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
