About: I’ve been taking care of dogs for the last 7-8 years for my family, friends, and neighbors. They have trusted me with walking, feeding, and overall loving their furry friends! When my family first got our dog in 2020, I assisted in training him and learning how to take care of a puppy. I have also helped to take care of my roommates pet dog and cat in these last few months as well! During the summer of 2024, my dog suddenly went paralyzed and lost function of his back legs. We had to learn how to take care of him and walk him using unconventional ways, while teaching him how to learn to walk again, so I have experience with a dog who has been partially disabled (but he has regained his ability to walk and is doing great!!) I recently graduated from Miami University, Ohio with my masters degree in speech-language pathology. I just moved back to Illinois and am looking to do some dog walking and pet care/love this summer before starting a new job in the schools this upcoming August as a speech-language pathologist. I will adhere to any requests that the client has. I am willing to put them in their crates, give them treats, play with them in the yard, or go for a nice long walk with them. It really comes down to the clients preference and I will stick to their normal routine!!
About: I’ve grown up taking care of both cats and dogs, including small and large breeds. I currently have a chocolate lab who I walk, feed, and play with every day. I also have experience caring for senior dogs and cats, and I understand the extra patience, attention, and care they may need. About: I have been a fur mama for 13 years, but have been taking care of animals since I was a kid. I love BOTH cats and dogs! I have two of each—along with a turtle, so I am not afraid of caring for aquatic animals. I have experience administering medication both orally and subdermally. So I am not afraid to do either. I would love to help take care of your baby in any way! I currently work Monday-Thursday. I am available all day Fridays and Sundays. And full days every other Saturday, because I work a half day every other. Can make some weeknights work, depending on the situation. About: I have 19 years of experience volunteering with dogs and cats at three different area rescues. I currently volunteer at Project Hope Animal Rescue Foundation in Gilberts. I also worked for a petsitting service in Elgin for 5.5years, so I have experience with many different types of dogs. I currently have two mixed breed dogs of my own and a cat that are all very happy and healthy! One of my dogs is reactive when on leash around other dogs, so I understand the patience that comes along with that behavior. In 2006, I acquired a dog training certification from Animal Behavior College. I am currently unemployed, so I am available most days and time. Right now I have three- a tiny Chihuahua, a medium Carolina mix, and a HUGE Rhodesian Ridgeback. I trained them myself and they are my whole world! I would be happy to work on some training with your dog, I really have a passion for it.💜 I work full-time, so I'm mostly available in the evenings. I am usually off on Sunday and Monday or Sunday and Friday so I have more time on those days. I can do whatever is required for each specific dog. I have no problem getting dogs in and out of crates, walking any size dog while working on leash manners if desired by the owner, feeding and playing, whatever your pup needs!

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
