Overnight and daycare guests will meet ‘n’ greet my dogs on an introductory trust walk. My dogs are fully vaccinated and in compliance with all Therapy Dog International healthcare guidelines. Your dog might well feel most at home with us in their own crate, or I can provide one. We will integrate your dog’s schedule/ routine/meals as closely as possible. If you choose, we can go to our private dog park or on some other adventures like a hike in Moraine Hills or a swim in the warmer weather.

So we can build our days around your dog, please let us know what they love to do: sleep-their bed or ours, play-off to the private dog park we can go, just hang out with the gang-come on by and hang out with ours! Treats! YES ma’am. Your treats our ours, just let us know. Meals! To avoid upset tummies, we suggest you send along your dog’s regular fare. Medications: I have over 20 years experience with giving pills (great at outsmarting your reluctant pill swallowers), IM and IV injections and topicals. As a recently retired human healthcare worker, I am skilled in communicating and coordinating care with (God forbid) vet med providers.
A typical day
Dog days are filled with walks and cuddles. We can enjoy access to a private dog park, go for a swim as weather permits. I have qualified dogs at Police and Search and Rescue Level 1 Obstacle. These skills translate to so many fun things to do at the children’s playground just down the street in our neighborhood!

Over 20 years experience as a dog and cat guardian. Retired coordinator for hospital based therapy dog program. Trained and handled multiple dogs to AKC titles and national championships. Membership at private dog park- private free play, with or without my personal dogs as playmates. Rescues and purebreds. Giants to smalls. Founding member of the American Psychological Association Work Group on Human Animal Interaction.
