About: Have had dogs my whole life and we are active foster parents for a local animal shelter where we specialize in seniors and the friends who are having a rough time adjusting to shelter life. I am able to be home 24/7 to care for your pet. Love to walk and spend time outdoors and will be able to follow any schedule to keep your dog comfortable and spoiled. We do not have a fenced yard so all dogs will be taken out on a leash. Great communication from owners will let us know if there are any other things to watch out for.

We will integrate your dog’s schedule/ routine/meals as closely as possible. If you choose, we can go to our private dog park or on some other adventures like a hike in Moraine Hills or a swim in the warmer weather.

About: I am back on Rover after taking a long break when a dear friend needed housing with her 3 dogs for an extended period. I have owned dogs for over 40 years. After losing my 16 yr old Aussie several years ago, I started watching friend's dogs to help my survivor pup adjust to the loss. My clients at Rover have been an absolute blessing for my own pets. Each weather permitting day includes 2 walks and lots of supervision and unlimited indoor/outdoor playtime at home. I provide very frequent outdoor breaks and a roomy backyard with a locked fence with security cameras that is perfect for active dogs to run. I am home all day. I have a huge soft spot and enormous patience for all animals, and will treat your family member with all the love that I have for my own. I text photo updates or snapchats to help you feel confident about how your pet is doing. I also honor your feeding schedule and will work with your pups needs to keep them (and you) as comfortable as possible while you are away. I offer overnight supervision or day care, a cage-free environment (if desired), care for elderly dogs, or dogs who require oral medication. *** In most cases, I limit myself to 2 overnight guest dogs (or 3 if from the same family), so that your pups get lots of focused attention and to reduce the amount of 'new stuff' that they would need to navigate during your absence. *** Last minute bookings are usually no problem as long as we can squeeze in a meet and greet. If I can help insure your peace of mind when you need to be away from your pet, please contact me with any questions that you may have! There is no obligation to inquire. I would be happy to help, and look forward to meeting you and four-legged family member! Karen I will have eyes on your pet all day long. I work from home and can address any pet needs immediately. They will not be left alone for more than the time it takes to run to the supermarket, and usually that is not necessary because I prepare for that in advance. I run every day and can take your pet with me if that is within their physical abilities, with your permission, of course. I watch dogs in my home only, but do send frequent updates to be sure that you are informed about how they are doing. I have a doubly locked fenced yard with security cameras.

About: I grew up with Labs and my daughter Kate spent lots of time with dogs (Ridgebacks, Labs, etc…) We now have an Australian Shepherd. She’s adorable and has lots of energy. She is so smart! We have done dog sitting and dog walks for many neighbors. We will take expert care of your dog! I work from home and have a flexible schedule. We can often do last minute care, if needed. The cold doesn’t slow us down at all. ☺️ We have a fenced in yard with room to run. Our dog is very friendly to other dogs and always loves having a playmate to romp with. We have a flexible schedule so have plenty of availability! We can do walks first thing in the morning, around noon and early evening as well. If your pet comes to me, we have a fenced in yard and live down the block from Huffman park. Lots of places to play! When I visit your home you will get a photo and an update each time.

About: I keep a detailed daily log of your pet’s routine. I also provide photos with timestamps as often as you request, so you can easily picture how your pet spent the day even when you’re not there. I grew up in a family that loves animals, and we cared for a variety of them. Hamsters, rabbits, guinea pigs, chickens, dogs, cats, fishes and even turkeys! I’ve always enjoyed spending time with pets and making sure they’re happy and comfortable. 😁 I’m always available to spend time with your pets. I can play with them or take them for walks whenever they want, as long as the weather allows. 😉 We currently have just one gentle guinea pig in a cage, which means there are no household dogs and cats. Your pet will receive our full attention and enjoy a calm, stress-free environment without other household pets.

Super friendly and my puppy took to her immediately (something I had not seen before honestly). Tagged on a bath and nail trim to the stay and my pet was smelling super fresh all the way home. 10/10 would recommend.”
