About: I’ve been taking care of dogs for the last 7-8 years for my family, friends, and neighbors. They have trusted me with walking, feeding, and overall loving their furry friends! When my family first got our dog in 2020, I assisted in training him and learning how to take care of a puppy. I have also helped to take care of my roommates pet dog and cat in these last few months as well! During the summer of 2024, my dog suddenly went paralyzed and lost function of his back legs. We had to learn how to take care of him and walk him using unconventional ways, while teaching him how to learn to walk again, so I have experience with a dog who has been partially disabled (but he has regained his ability to walk and is doing great!!) I recently graduated from Miami University, Ohio with my masters degree in speech-language pathology. I just moved back to Illinois and am looking to do some dog walking and pet care/love this summer before starting a new job in the schools this upcoming August as a speech-language pathologist. I will adhere to any requests that the client has. I am willing to put them in their crates, give them treats, play with them in the yard, or go for a nice long walk with them. It really comes down to the clients preference and I will stick to their normal routine!!
About: I am experienced in administering medicinal injections, nail trimming and teeth brushing of larger breeds, lifting 60+ lbs, pad and potty training, and assisting senior and special needs dogs. I currently work remote and spend most of the day with my own pup by my side. We go to the nearby dog park at least weekly, go on two 20-25 minute walks (1mi+) daily, and play regularly throughout the day. He is very friendly and happy to tag along for any walks or play times, if the company is welcomed. I have a large crate available, if needed, and an in ground stake in the front and back yard with 30ft leads attached, allowing for plenty of time outside in shaded and unshaded areas. Food bowls are cleaned after every meal and pet waste is cleaned up after every trip outside.

About: I've often thought about how best to care for my pets when I go out of town. I would want them to be with someone who is loving and makes them feel as if they were with their owner. I would treat your pet the same way I treat mine, with love, care, and attention they need and deserve. We have a fenced yard, neighborhood sidewalks, and nearby walking. About: I've had pets all my life (cats, dogs, fish, even a frog!) and did animal rescue for several years in Arizona- helping at adoption events, home visits, fostering kitties, a mama cat with 5 babies, & about a dozen dogs/puppies. I moved back to IL and am raising my 2 children and working from home. We have even rented baby chicks to help a local farm, so my kids understand pet care too. I truly understand how hard it is to find good, comforting help with pets and been there myself. I love all animals and currently have a senior female dog at home. I have proven to be a reliable helper to friends, family, neighbors, and even strangers. I've been able to save loose dogs and reunite them because of my calm demeanor with animals. I always love to give a hand to others and understand pets are family. I currently work remotely from home and have some flexibility during the day after 8AM while working and often done with work by 4PM, some days earlier. I have some kid activities on weekends, but generally home and my dog here is very laid back, sweet, and tolerates the young pups even and still loves to outrun them even lol. I have availability most on weekends for walks, but can try to arrange things time to time. I can squeeze in let outs when not in meetings with clients. I would let you know if time doesn't permit before accepting. My yard is fenced in completely and my senior dog is very nice and will help keep them feeling comfortable. I have extra crates if needed, depending upon the service needed. I am happy to drive a reasonable distance to help with yours. If overnight at your home, please note I'd need my kids to come with me when they are out of elementary school, but they are very respectful and well behaved animal lovers too. I understand pets are family and safety is important to me too.

About: I am back on Rover after taking a long break when a dear friend needed housing with her 3 dogs for an extended period. I have owned dogs for over 40 years. After losing my 16 yr old Aussie several years ago, I started watching friend's dogs to help my survivor pup adjust to the loss. My clients at Rover have been an absolute blessing for my own pets. Each weather permitting day includes 2 walks and lots of supervision and unlimited indoor/outdoor playtime at home. I provide very frequent outdoor breaks and a roomy backyard with a locked fence with security cameras that is perfect for active dogs to run. I am home all day. I have a huge soft spot and enormous patience for all animals, and will treat your family member with all the love that I have for my own. I text photo updates or snapchats to help you feel confident about how your pet is doing. I also honor your feeding schedule and will work with your pups needs to keep them (and you) as comfortable as possible while you are away. I offer overnight supervision or day care, a cage-free environment (if desired), care for elderly dogs, or dogs who require oral medication. *** In most cases, I limit myself to 2 overnight guest dogs (or 3 if from the same family), so that your pups get lots of focused attention and to reduce the amount of 'new stuff' that they would need to navigate during your absence. *** Last minute bookings are usually no problem as long as we can squeeze in a meet and greet. If I can help insure your peace of mind when you need to be away from your pet, please contact me with any questions that you may have! There is no obligation to inquire. About: I’ve been a cat lover my whole life and would love to meet yours! I have 3 medically complex 4 yr old kitties with allergies, autoimmune conditions, urinary issues, and anal gland infections. I administer oral pills and liquid twice daily for them, and have experience with subcutaneous injections. The first cats in my life were outdoor cats in rural Michigan. Some of my fondest memories are of the excitement on the bus ride home from school to play with my cat when I got home. While in college, I raised a kitten with my partner at the time and introduced a second cat a year later. They were both super energetic and loved play time with catnip toys! After that, I adopted a senior kitty who ended up being my first medically complex fur baby. She had her remaining teeth removed recently when I adopted her, but we dealt with chronic ear and eye infections as well as inflammatory bowel disease. A few months after she passed, she sent me my current three medically complex fur babies to look after. My experience with dogs is less extensive, but I’d still love to meet yours! Growing up we’d dog sit for my grandpa’s medium sized dog and my best friend had 2 wire fox terriers. More recently, I’ve watched my friend’s tiny chihuahua for a few days who got along well with my cats 🐶🐱 I am starting a new remote job in digital accessibility. I’m expecting to have flexibility to squeeze a visit or 2 in during workday hours, but am happily available mornings, evenings, and weekends 😸🐾 Your pet’s health, safety, and happiness are my top priority as a pet sitter. About: Hi there! I am so excited to finally be making my pet-sitting official with Rover. I am still new-ish to the area after having moved back in with my parents a little less than a year ago (originally from New Jersey, then moved to California for college and work). I have had the pleasure of taking care of my family dog (Winnie the Cavapoo) since we got her 9 years ago. Hanging out with her is one of my favorite things to do, and she truly makes each day better with every walk we go on and every cuddle we share. I've also gotten to dog-sit for some of my best friends and locals while I was in college, and it really helped me whenever I was missing my Winnie girl! My only hope is to provide you with peace of mind that your pup is in good hands with me! My schedule is pretty wide open and flexible! If there is a time/day on my schedule that looks unavailable, message me and I'll see if I can move things around to make it work (as I share a car with a family member). If you need me to come over and pet-sit at your home, I will respect all the rules you provide me with so you are comfortable with having me in your home while I watch your fur baby. Please let me know in advance to your booking if your pet is allowed on furniture, or in certain areas of your home, and what/where are absolute no-go's, so I can remember to keep them away from those areas. If you use a crate with them, please let me know how you use it with them - if they must be crated the entirety of time while indoors aside from meal and potty times, or if for certain periods of time. If you have a backyard that is fenced and secure, I am comfortable with letting them of their leash (if you permit it) so they have free reign to run around, but if it is not an enclosed space, I am not comfortable letting them off their leash, even if they are trained perfectly - just want to be safe and take all the precautions I can to make sure they are safe while with me!

I would let you know if time doesn't permit before accepting. My yard is fenced in completely and my senior dog is very nice and will help keep them feeling comfortable. I have extra crates if needed, depending upon the service needed. I am happy to drive a reasonable distance to help with yours. If overnight at your home, please note I'd need my kids to come with me when they are out of elementary school, but they are very respectful and well behaved animal lovers too. I understand pets are family and safety is important to me too.
