About: I've often thought about how best to care for my pets when I go out of town. I would want them to be with someone who is loving and makes them feel as if they were with their owner. I would treat your pet the same way I treat mine, with love, care, and attention they need and deserve. We have a fenced yard, neighborhood sidewalks, and nearby walking. I'm super active and into health and fitness. I do crossfit during the week. "A dog is this only thing on earth that loves you more than he loves himself" I’m currently a stay at home mom to an 2yo, 8yo, and a 6mo puppy. I’ve grew up with dogs in my household. My schedule is pretty much open from 10am- 5pm. I have a fenced in yard and one friendly dog to keep your fur baby company. My dog is trained to be out of the cage while I’m gone. I am more then happy to crate your fur baby while I leave my house to do daily errands.
“Natalie is really great at what she does. She fills me in on what my dog does while walking him and do on… she’s seriously awesome! Flexible and kind. My Bohdi (black lab puppy) lovesssss her!”

“Madeline was so great with our dogs, Wilson and Bailey! We could tell immediately that she was an animal lover and that our dogs would be well-cared for. Would absolutely book her again!”

“Chloe did great with my cat, Ellie. She came over twice a day with no issues and fed, watered, and cleaned the litter area for Ellie when I was out of town for two weeks. The house looks spotless and Ellie appreciated the company. Highly recommended!”

“Dorothy was outstanding coming to our house to feed and let out our 2 dogs. She was great with the dogs, responds quickly to questions and sent many photos while we traveled out of state for a wedding. We trusted her and did not worry about our dogs. I would highly recommend her services.”

About: I am an animal lover, through and through. Dogs, cats, hedgehogs, birds… you name it. I treat my guest animals like my own and love on them as much as possible. I enjoy taking cute portraits of the pets in my care and I send lots of photos and written updates. I currently have a female Aussie/Pit mix, currently fostering a female Blue Doberman, and have had Doberman Pinschers in the past from puppies through old age until the rainbow bridge. I’m patient with puppies and elderly animals. I check to see which commands they know and how they have been trained to keep them consistent in my care, and have experience administering medications to them. Before joining Rover, I frequently dog and cat sat for friends and family. I am currently fully remote and based at home. I have a lot of flexibility to accommodate your pet’s schedule and needs. My schedule may change in the future but I will update my info when that happens. I have one female 7 year old Aussie/Pit Mix and one 2 year old foster female Doberman. I have a spare bedroom to host guests with their crates and belongings but during the day they are with me, within line of sight in my home. My yard is fenced (4ft) and only two steps to the yard from the door. There are no children living in my home. I live is a quiet neighborhood and can go for walks as needed.
“Miranda was fantastic. She stopped to meet Zelda before the scheduled walks. She kept me updated and everything went perfectly. Zelda feels comfortable with her already and they get along great. Highly recommended!”

“Lyssa is amazing with my puppy and working around my ever changing schedule. She is always on time and I never have to worry about my pup. The pictures she sends of my puppy during the visits, my dog looks really happy. Glad I chose Lyssa out of all of the local people on Rover.”

“While my mom was in the hospital, I frantically searched for someone to help let my mom’s dog out. I booked Mackenzie last minute, and she was an angel that we needed in our time of need. She was patient with our last minute requests, accommodating and flexible. She sent many updates and took great care of of my mom’s dog.”

What I offer: • Lots of love, cuddles, and playtime • Safe, fun walks (I love going on long walks and exploring nature trails!) • Experience with administering medications • Knowledge of special diets and health needs (my own dog is on a GI-friendly diet, so I understand how important it is to follow food schedules carefully) Your pet’s safety and happiness always come first. Let’s set up your pup’s next walk or playdate — I can’t wait to meet them! 🐶💛 I currently work full time as a nurse on night shift. If you have a special diet for your pet please let me know as well as a food schedule! I understand special dietary needs for pets. My dog Phoebe herself is on a low fat GI diet due to chronic pancreatitis.

I am home during the week so your dog can enjoy a calm, relaxed day. Your pup will get love, attention, and a comfortable place to stay while you’re away! About: Hello! I am a very active individual who loves to engage and play with pets. I consider myself an avid runner, and have never shied away from taking pets with me. I am very used to walking and caring for dogs of all shapes and sizes. For daycare, I work from home full time and have a large fenced in yard that all dogs love! I currently have two pets, a 1 year old pup named Vasher and a orange tabby cat named Locke. Vasher is a golden retriever / German shepherd mix who is the best boy. He already weighs over 70 lb! He loves to play, run around, and talk to us with his buttons. He is extremely friendly and loves to make new friends, both human and dog alike. Locke will make friends with any person he meets. I also helped raised my parents dog Leine, who is a 90lb tree walker cooonhound. She is the sweetest pup at 10 years old. I have watched and cared for dogs of all sizes and energy levels, but you can probably tell I have a special place for large playful dogs. If you're looking for somewhere to drop off your dog for the day where they will have a huge yard and a playmate, I'm your guy. Please don't hesitate to reach out with any questions! I currently work remotely! My schedule is entirely flexible, so I will be able to take care of your pet at any time of the day. If you have a set schedule for walking/feeding/playing, I'll be able to stick to it without any issues. I will care for your pet by paying attention to their needs, whether it be playing, cuddling, or feeding. I will keep them as active as possible, and would be happy to run them around the yard or neighborhood. I am very willing to follow whatever instructions you have for your pet.

“This was my first time using Rover, but it was so great to know my dogs were being well taken care of while I was gone! Marie was responsive, conscientious, and helpful. I came home to two happy pups! I will definitely reach out to Marie next time I need someone to take care of my dogs.”
“Marcy has been great, we have used her services several times the last few months and have all good things to say. The biggest help is being able to work with the short notices due to my work schedule. Her flexibility has been awesome. My dogs seem to really enjoy her and Marcy has been wonderful to my pups.....”

About: I have been around cats and dogs most of my life, and have had my own dogs for 10+ years. Right now I have three- a tiny Chihuahua, a medium Carolina mix, and a HUGE Rhodesian Ridgeback. I trained them myself and they are my whole world! I would be happy to work on some training with your dog, I really have a passion for it.💜 And he said to him, "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind." Matthew 22:37 I work full-time, so I'm mostly available in the evenings. I am usually off on Sunday and Monday or Sunday and Friday so I have more time on those days. I can do whatever is required for each specific dog. I have no problem getting dogs in and out of crates, walking any size dog while working on leash manners if desired by the owner, feeding and playing, whatever your pup needs!

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Lake in the Hills
Alyssa was absolutely wonderful with our three pets (two dogs and one cat)! She was kind, reliable, and took great care of all of them. Our cat has medical needs, and before giving his medication for the first time, she made sure to double-check everything with us, which we really appreciated. It gave us peace of mind knowing our pets were in such caring hands. We would absolutely use Alyssa again and highly recommend her!

Mary was simply amazing! She loved over both my babies, took them on walks, let me know when they used the bathroom and drank, sent many photos. Not only did she look over both dogs, but she also helped with my pup who is potty training. I would highly recommend Mary and will be requesting her help in the future.

Rachael is an excellent pet sitter! She was always very punctual and thorough with her pet care (2 cats and a dog). She was careful to follow my written instructions to keep their schedules as close to normal as possible. Her daily logs about her visits were detailed and fun to read! And lots of cute pictures! She is very sweet and kind and I would not hesitate to ask for her help again!

Hannah is so good to our fur babies! She is reliable and flexible and has come in last minute for those surprise bookings that most pet parents come across. We appreciate Miss Hannah and we highly recommend her to anyone looking for a loving caregiver for their pets.

Brooklyn was a real hero for me, when I needed a last minute pet sitter. I knew her from outside Rover and she knew my dogs. They warmed up to her right away and I could tell from the pictures they were happy she was there. They were fed, walked, played with and received lots of cuddles.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking.
