About: I have felt a calling towards dogs for quite some time now. I have a few dog friends, and feel a very deep, genuine, and pure connection with them. I hope that it's the same with your beloved furry friend, and I'm confident that it will be. Please allow me to respond to your booking request before sending your request to multiple parties.. This is appreciated! My schedule really is pretty packed right now, but mid-afternoons are pretty open most days.. I will take new clients if I am able to find a time slot for you, though! For now, I'd like to keep care either in your home, or outdoors. I will treat your home like it is my own. Thank you!
About: I have always had pets for as long as I can remember. I have raised puppies & kittens, fostered and loved on seniors of all kinds. Some pets include dogs, cats, rabbits, gerbils, guinee pigs, turtles, snakes and geckos. I teach full time from 7:30am to 3:00pm I am available to love on your four (mostly) legged babies in the afternoons, evenings, my days off, holidays and weekends. If there was a need to care for pets in my home I would have a separate space for your fur babies to rest comfortably.

About: I’ve grown up taking care of both cats and dogs, including small and large breeds. I currently have a chocolate lab who I walk, feed, and play with every day. I also have experience caring for senior dogs and cats, and I understand the extra patience, attention, and care they may need. I love cats and am comfortable feeding them, changing litter, playing with them, and giving them lots of attention. I’m reliable, caring, and truly enjoy being around animals! I’m home from college until August 10th. I’m available all day on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 8 AM–3PM for dog walking, pet sitting, and drop-in visits for both cats and dogs! I’m also available on weekends and am flexible with timing. I’m happy to work around your pet’s normal routine to make sure they feel comfortable, cared for, and safe. I’m always mindful, respectful, and responsible when caring for pets in someone else’s home. I make sure to keep a clean and safe environment, follow instructions carefully, and handle everything with care. I understand how important trust is when someone is caring for your pets and home, and I’ll always do my best to make both you and your pets feel comfortable and secure.
About: I’ve had dogs and cats my whole life. Currently live with 2 dogs and 2 cats, and my family has 3 other dogs! I’ve dog-sat for many years, both staying at homes and frequently checking in. I have a natural way of connecting with animals, and I love spending time with them! During the summer, I will have availability to walk dogs, let dogs out, and care for pets during the day and evenings on weekdays. June weekdays I am available after 12, and July weekdays I am available all day. Weekend availability is not consistent throughout the summer. I live with two dogs and two cats. I walk the dogs frequently, feed them breakfast and dinner, and keep their spaces clean and safe! I monitor pets as they chew on toys, and throw away toys that could be dangerous. Managing 4 pets is a handful, but I love it!

About: I’ve been around animals my entire life, and over the years I’ve turned that love into hands-on experience working in both boarding facilities and pet retail. Always looking for a reason to be around more adorable fur faces! I have both a cat and a dog and make sure they’re fully prioritized after I get home from work because they’re the best friends anyone could ask for! I care for pets based on their routine and personality, keeping things consistent and stress-free while you’re away. In your home, I follow feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and keep spaces clean (like litter boxes and water). I’m attentive to behavior and provide regular updates with photos.
“Nycole was very responsive and did everything we asked of her. She took lots of pictures and videos of our cats while we were away. She even came over beforehand to do a meet-and-greet since my kitties can be a bit skittish. I'd use her again!”

“Perfect 10 !!! Danielle went out of her way for me. 100 % satisfaction! Received my report every walk and a picture of my dog. This was my first time leaving my dog without family, was nervous, but she put me at ease. Thank you again!! I highly recommend Danielle.”

“Jessica and Luis were amazing with our 2 Australian Shepherds! They did numerous drops in while we were on vacation and handled walking, play time, snuggles and meal times. We were given a detailed pet intake form to fill out so they could learn about our dogs and their routines and any house rules. They were very friendly and handled all our requests. We were happy our dogs got to stay home and keep up with their routine and Jessica and Luis sent us lots of photos and videos throughout the day. They gave us peace of mind and we would absolutely use them again.”

“Iryna took wonderful care of my dog during twice-daily drop-ins. She is warm, friendly, and clearly compassionate — my dog was happy and relaxed after every visit. One afternoon she was about 30 minutes late because her car broke down, but she messaged me right away and kept me updated, so it was no problem at all. I would happily book her again and recommend her to anyone looking for a caring sitter. Thank you, Iryna”

About: I have dog sat for about eleven years now and still do for a family I am very close with. I have two of my own dogs who I consider my children since I don't have any of my own. My dogs are two lovable, playful, energetic labs named Bailey and Oreo, they enjoy going on "car-car", rides with me and playing with their tennis balls in the back yard. I enjoy taking dogs on walks and cuddling them and taking care of them if they're ever sick because it breaks my heart. The best part of rover is meeting all the new doggies and families and having them come back to stay with us! It’s wonderful to have playful guests for our dogs and keep our home busy and happy!

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs for the last 7-8 years for my family, friends, and neighbors. They have trusted me with walking, feeding, and overall loving their furry friends! When my family first got our dog in 2020, I assisted in training him and learning how to take care of a puppy. I have also helped to take care of my roommates pet dog and cat in these last few months as well! During the summer of 2024, my dog suddenly went paralyzed and lost function of his back legs. We had to learn how to take care of him and walk him using unconventional ways, while teaching him how to learn to walk again, so I have experience with a dog who has been partially disabled (but he has regained his ability to walk and is doing great!!) I recently graduated from Miami University, Ohio with my masters degree in speech-language pathology. I just moved back to Illinois and am looking to do some dog walking and pet care/love this summer before starting a new job in the schools this upcoming August as a speech-language pathologist. I will adhere to any requests that the client has. I am willing to put them in their crates, give them treats, play with them in the yard, or go for a nice long walk with them. It really comes down to the clients preference and I will stick to their normal routine!!

As an incoming freshman, I balance academics with pet care, offering weekend, early morning, and afternoon availability to give your pets loving, and consistent attention. I provide reliable, safe care for pets in my home and clients’ homes, ensuring their needs are met with attention and responsibility at all times!

“Elisha was awesome and took great care of our 2 dogs, Wilson and Bailey. She was on-time every day and sent photos and updates after each visit. We highly recommend Elisha and will definitely use her again!”

About: I have lived with dogs all my life, giving me an intense care for them. I’ve volunteered at animal house shelter in Huntley for a couple months, and am currently working at Dogtopia in South Elgin in which I work with dogs everyday, both old and young, to keep a room under control I work part time, leaving some days with a bunch of extra time. I’m looking for a separate opportunity to work with my passion in a professional setting Every night I take my dogs on a walk around the block so they can get out their energy and go to the bathroom before sleep
Carpentersville dog parents share their Rover experiences
Dorothy was outstanding coming to our house to feed and let out our 2 dogs. She was great with the dogs, responds quickly to questions and sent many photos while we traveled out of state for a wedding. We trusted her and did not worry about our dogs. I would highly recommend her services.

Brooklyn was a real hero for me, when I needed a last minute pet sitter. I knew her from outside Rover and she knew my dogs. They warmed up to her right away and I could tell from the pictures they were happy she was there. They were fed, walked, played with and received lots of cuddles.
