I’ve been a vet tech for 8 years with 3 years in emergency and ICU so I have experience working with all dogs/cats of all sizes and ages. Due to this I also am comfortable with any pets with medical needs whether medications/injections and identifying emergency situations if they are to arise. I’ve also been a rescue volunteer for 10 years as well. My specialty in both is working with more fearful/anxious pets. I know how scary new people can be for them and willing to take my time to get them to trust me and know I care

Whatever safety needs are required I can do. Whether that is a certain harness, crating your pet, or providing medications to your furry friend. I also bring a strong kong leash for dog walks to provide the guarantee of no leash breaking, no dogs slipping loose, and having full control of your pet with no worries of dog mishaps

Melissa is a great pet sitter! She knew exactly how to get my cat to warm up to her. She fed and played with my cat and provided great updates with photos.
Melissa was fabulous with my sweet & shy Puurrl (cat). She got Puurrl to take her meds and I received messages & photos after each visit. She also understood Puurrl is still adjusting from the loss of her older sister. We will be booking Melissa again!!

Schedule
My schedule I’m typically is M,T,F,S but I’m always willing to work around my schedule for your needs. I try to take dog walks on my days off or lunch if close to my work, and drop ins after work. For any dog sitting owners looking for care, please be aware I do work 10-12 hrs, so it would have to be someone comfortable with me coming before and after.
