About: I am 19 years old and I like to go by Leslie. Growing up on a farm along with multiple giant dogs, I've learned my fair share of pet care. Learning to handle and bathe dogs from the smallest Toy Poodle all the way to the largest Great Dane from volunteering. Speaking of Danes; I share my home with two rescue Great Danes and a Sun Conure. I specialize in dogs and am a former volunteer at Anderson Animal Shelter and Anderson's Wildlife Rehabilitation Center. I can sit for your pets almost any day! I'm free most of the time, other than when I'm out meeting other pets. I provide a large yard for my dogs, a seperate room for my bird, frequent vet checkups, healthy diets, all day access to water and outdoors, moderated chewys and toys, and a personal dog cage for sleeping in at night. In a client's home, instructions and routines are taken very seriously, no matter how specific, to ensure that a pet is well taken care of at all times.

About: Hi there! I am so excited to finally be making my pet-sitting official with Rover. I am still new-ish to the area after having moved back in with my parents a little less than a year ago (originally from New Jersey, then moved to California for college and work). I have had the pleasure of taking care of my family dog (Winnie the Cavapoo) since we got her 9 years ago. Hanging out with her is one of my favorite things to do, and she truly makes each day better with every walk we go on and every cuddle we share. I've also gotten to dog-sit for some of my best friends and locals while I was in college, and it really helped me whenever I was missing my Winnie girl! My only hope is to provide you with peace of mind that your pup is in good hands with me! My schedule is pretty wide open and flexible! If there is a time/day on my schedule that looks unavailable, message me and I'll see if I can move things around to make it work (as I share a car with a family member). If you need me to come over and pet-sit at your home, I will respect all the rules you provide me with so you are comfortable with having me in your home while I watch your fur baby. Please let me know in advance to your booking if your pet is allowed on furniture, or in certain areas of your home, and what/where are absolute no-go's, so I can remember to keep them away from those areas. If you use a crate with them, please let me know how you use it with them - if they must be crated the entirety of time while indoors aside from meal and potty times, or if for certain periods of time. If you have a backyard that is fenced and secure, I am comfortable with letting them of their leash (if you permit it) so they have free reign to run around, but if it is not an enclosed space, I am not comfortable letting them off their leash, even if they are trained perfectly - just want to be safe and take all the precautions I can to make sure they are safe while with me!

About: My name is Kaileigh and I live in the Pingree Grove area. I have been around dogs my entire life! Before moving into my town home I would house sit my family, friends and co-workers dogs. Just looking for a little extra cash on the side and what better way to do that then walking dogs! I love being outside and will take your dog on a walk for however long you would like. I am super friendly and outgoing. I do work a full time job over in Elgin, IL so I'm looking for walking gigs in the evening or anytime during the weekends. I do not currently have a dog because of my small living space and full time hours, I just feel too bad which is why I think Rover is such a great service! I will love and care for your pet just as much as you do.

Katelyn did a fantastic job. She did a great job with my dog, Morgan, and went the extra mile to make sure she had water in her bowl before leaving. Our dog has a hard time going to the bathroom with new people, but she went both with Katelyn. 5 stars and will book her again :)

Fred has been an absolute blessing to our family. Moochy like him immediately and trusted him. She’s usually pretty skittish. Fred was always on time, willing to be flexible if needed, and was just really good with Moochy. I needed someone who was strong to walk mooch because she’s big and strong. Fred had no trouble with it. I had absolute faith in Fred’s ability to handle her. And when Mooch saw his car pull up, she was so happy. I have no trouble recommending Fred to be your dog walker.

About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life and have experience caring for dogs of different personalities, ages, and energy levels. I genuinely love spending time with animals and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. Whether your dog needs a relaxing walk, some extra playtime, or lots of affection, I’m happy to follow their normal routine and give them plenty of attention. I treat every pet with patience and care, and I’ll keep you updated with photos so you can feel comfortable while they’re with me :) I’m a college student and healthcare worker who genuinely enjoys caring for animals and giving pet parents peace of mind while they’re away. I’m patient, attentive, dependable, and understand how important it is to have someone you can trust with both your pet and your home. My schedule gives me availability throughout the week, including many weekends, and I keep my Rover calendar updated so you can easily see when I’m available. I’m happy to help with walks, drop-in visits, feeding, playtime, potty breaks, and keeping your pet comfortable with their normal routine. Every pet has their own personality, so I take the time to learn what makes yours feel safe and comfortable. I’ll follow your instructions closely, keep doors and gates secure, and send plenty of photos and updates so you know how your pet is doing. Whether you have an energetic dog ready for a walk, a senior who needs a little extra patience, or a cat who prefers affection on their own terms, I’ll care for them with the same kindness and attention I’d want for my own. 🐾🤍 When caring for pets in your home, I follow your instructions closely and keep your pet’s routine as normal as possible. I’m gentle, patient, and very attentive to each animal’s comfort level. I make sure food, water, and potty breaks are handled safely, and I always keep doors and gates secure. I also send updates and photos during every visit so you can feel confident that your pet is safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away :))

About: I’ve had dogs in my life since I was born. My first dog was a 100 pound German Shepard mix, then we got a miniature border collie mix, then a hound, and now we have a one year old german shepard belgian malinois. I have helped train and take care of all of our family dogs and we take our dogs on at least 2 walks a day! I can take care of any type of dog and I will of course love every animal I take care of. I have no problem picking up poop on walks! I would love to help you take care of your Dogs! I am currently a college student at Judson University studying Architecture. I would be able to take care of your pet before 7:45am and I am available during lunch time. I am also volleyball player and practices are normally from 4-6 so I would be able to go over after that. MWF I have class from 1-5 so I wouldn’t be able to go in that time frame and my volleyball games are normally Tuesday and Thursday nights which I could go over after those. I have a fenced in yard at my house but I also have energetic dogs so I take them on walks every day twice a day. They both love to play fetch and obviously they love to go on their daily walks. I can do anything from just letting them out and throwing the ball for them to walking around the block or even a mile. I am flexible with what kind of service your pet may need!

  • 97% can help with daily exercise

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
