“I accidentally came across Rover.com in May 2015 while search DoggyLoot.com. This opened my eyes to a nationwide in-home dog care. I saved the link for Rover.com. We planned a long weekend out of town since our friends who had watched Abbi our English Pointer before we're going out of town on the same weekend. I immediately remembered my Rover.com find so I began looking thru the Sitters in our area. I wanted to make sure the Sitter who watched Abbi had experience caring for dogs with special needs and would not mind giving Abbi the love she deserves since she was diagnosed with Cancer last year. I came across our later chosen Sitter Yvette and her 2 wonderful little dogs since her Rover.com photos showed the front of her home. Her home style was very familiar because we ended up living in the same townhouse subdivision. We knew Abbi would be very familiar with the neighborhood so we called Yvette. She insisted that we schedule a Meet and Greet for Abbi. Yvette's calendar was so open and flexible. Since we ended up living a street from Yvette we took Abbi for a very short walk to Yvette's. When Abbi walked in she was immediately at home. Yvette's 2 small dogs and Abbi hit it off from the start by sitting on the couch as the parents joined them to talk. Abbi performed a house tour on her own which Yvette insisted she do and she returned showing she would be happy staying with Yvette. We dropped Abbi off a week later with Yvette who showed her love in dogs from the start. She was able to give Abbi her daily med with no problem. When we came to pick up Abbi she thought we were only visiting. She wanted to stay longer with Yvette. We highly recommend Yvette since she cared for Abbi as if she was her own dog. She is definitely a 5 star Rover Sitter. ”

About: I've raised all my dogs from puppy to senior (oldest 16 years). All kinds of dogs too, from corgy to lab, so I'm ready for anything. Currently unlimited availability. I'm up early and ready to see nature. Availability change in a few weeks to weekends. I'm excited to make new dogs friends. I'm a walker and a runner so I'll be walking them frequently and if they can handle it, I'll walk them to the nearby lake path.

About: I have taken care of dogs, cats, fish, and lizards my whole life. I will spoil your pets based on what the owner allows me to do. I have an 11 year old Boxer who loves companion ship of all animals. Currently I am unemployed so pet care is my main focus. When I’m not taking care of my 11 y/o Boxer and 1 year old Bearded Dragon I’m looking up ways to make my animals more happy I will take dogs on walks at least 2 times a day and will take them to dog parks to run around. I have a 11 year old Boxer that will keep your dog company too. This household is cat friendly as well and will treat the cat like a king/queen that they believe they are.

About: Hi there! My name is Stephanie and have ample experience and tons of love for dogs! We have rescued a few pups with varying personalities and support requirements from partial paralysis, fear-aggression and anxiety. I have experience in dog walking, boarding and administration of medications (our own pup takes meds daily). I do have a 2 year old toddler at home along with an 11-year-old dachshund mix so any boarding requests should take that into consideration and will be vetted accordingly! I do work from home so your love bug would get lots of attention !

About: I started working with dogs since I was 10 years old through 4-h dog training. Since aging out of 4-h I have been working at doggy daycare and boarding facilities. This gave me the skills to work with any breed and size of dogs. Im currently working part-time, so I'll have plenty of time to play with your pups. They will have plenty of play time and down time. They will be individually let out to potty for easy monitoring and have individual play time. Extra cuddles during these times are a definite and maybe some extra treats too.

“I had never boarded my little 13 year old dog. When I had my Meet and Greet with Eric, Mollie jumped up next to him and cuddled. I knew then that she picked Eric. I was gone for a week over the 4th of July and Eric took amazing care of her even with the fireworks. As far as I am concerned I will never leave her with anyone else when I need a sitter.”
