About: I’ve dedicated much of my personal and professional life to the love and care of pets. From the time I was very young, I knew I wanted to work with animals; I am so grateful to now have that opportunity! I would not be who I am today without knowing and loving all of the wonderful animals in my life. I retired from dog grooming after 8 amazing years due to medical concerns, and I’m naturally inclined to surround myself with dogs. As a gig worker, I’m completely flexible with my days and times. I thoroughly enjoy the freedom that this provides for myself and my clients. I’m thrilled to offer walking, drop-in visits, and house-sitting in south Orange County! I find that consistency is the key factor in helping a dog acclimate- whether it be to a new schedule, a new household, or a new friend. As such, I base my services on your existing routine to avoid too much interruption to your dog’s lifestyle. I believe in the importance of dog-led interactions, so I’ll match their pace and provide enrichment specific to their personality. Having worked professionally with dogs for so long has enabled me to hone my skills in reading canine body language, which has proven to be so helpful! I’ve worked as a groomer and alongside trainers with dogs of all ages, breeds, and temperaments. Photo and video updates are standard, as I know firsthand how reassuring it is to receive updates on your furry loved ones. I am certified in advanced pet first aid & CPR by IPG. *important note* I will not take your dog off-leash due to safety and liability reasons, but I do have a 60ft longline that I’m happy to use for games of fetch, scent work, etc!

About: I’ve been surrounded by animals my whole life, and caring for them has always brought me joy. I’ve helped family, friends, and neighbors with their pets by walking, feeding, bathing, and giving lots of love along the way. At home, I have two sweet cats, one a rescued stray and the other was the runt of his litter, who’ve taught me patience, compassion, and how every animal deserves special care. Whether it’s a playful puppy, a senior dog who needs gentle attention, or a shy kitty who warms up slowly, I treat every pet like family and make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved. Because I work part-time, I have lots of extra time to spend with furry friends. I’m available most weekdays and on weekends for walks, drop-ins, and overnight stays. I also keep my calendar updated so pet parents can book with confidence. If you ever need last minute care, feel free to reach out I’ll always do my best to help. My home is cozy and pet-friendly, with plenty of space for play and rest. I also share it with my two sweet cats, who are very gentle and welcoming with other animals. If a pet prefers their own space, I can easily separate them to make sure everyone feels comfortable. I believe in treating pets like family. I’ll provide them with lots of cuddles, belly rubs, playtime, and frequent potty breaks to keep tails wagging and whiskers happy.

Fortunately for us, we found John on Rover.com a couple days before. He looked after Winston, performing all the daily routine activities, (scheduled feedings, walks twice per day, etc), as well as administering medication since Winston was feeling is best. John provided a few pictures and videos as well. John did a great job watching over Winston.”

About: I am a lifelong animal owner and lover, with a year of prior dog-walking and pet sitting experience. I am passionate about bringing as much joy to the animals we are so fortunate to share this life as they bring to us. I always go the extra mile (sometimes literally) to make sure our critters are fully enjoying their time with me. I go out of my way to make a simple walk or home visit as mentally stimulating and relaxing as possible. I have extensive knowledge of cat and dog care of all ages, as well as exotics such as reptiles and fish. I’m also a professional horticulturist, happy to offer some plant love as well! 🐱🐶🐠🪴💖 My current availability: Monday: Available before 9am, and after 7pm. Tuesday: Available all day. Wednesday: Available all day. Thursday: Available after 5pm. Friday: Available after 5pm. Saturday: Available before 9am, and after 7pm. Sunday: Available before 9am, and after 7pm. While visiting a client’s home for pet care, I always ensure to make my presence known (with treats at the ready) to avoid startling any furry friend. I ensure that all possible exits are secured before taking a dog out of their crate, or before a daring kitty has the urge to harass the local bird population. Your pet’s safety, contentment, and happiness are always my absolute highest priority. I will do everything I can to adhere to that standard for yours and your pet’s peace of mind!

Not only did she take care of our 6 animals, including one blind dog and another with severe anxiety, she had to deal with a major wind storm which had patio furniture flying every which way and panicked dogs being blown over and afraid to go to the bathroom. With all that going on she still texted us multiple times a day with photos and updates of our animals. I would hire Julie again in a heartbeat and would highly recommend her to anyone needing a pet sitter.”

About: I have been a foster parent for dogs/puppies and kittens/cats for 3 years for SPCA Charlottesville during my time in college. My roommates and I took in many pets and actively found them homes around the city. I currently have practices every morning but I will be available by midday everyday. Also, I have games every weekend (home and away) so some weekends I will be unavailable but I will update that on my calendar. I will communicate with you actively and follow all of your instructions to make sure your pet stays safe and healthy. I will also make sure that we are safe during walks and time out of the house.

About: I had a German Shepherd mix for over 14 years, who was the love of my life. Looking to gain some canine companionship while helping my neighbors. I also have experience with birds and fish. I work from home and can adjust my availability to suit your dog’s needs Monday through Friday. I’m also available during the weekends, just need to coordinate in advance. I can spend quality time with your dog in your home or just take them out for a walk if that’s all you need. I have experience with small and large dogs and will become their new best friend (after you, of course!).
