About: I am retired as of a few years ago, and we just lost our Bailey girl at 14 years old a few years back. I haven’t adopted a new dog since and instead am taking care of our kids dogs when they go out of town but do miss having a dog around. I’ve cared for about 6 dogs over my lifetime, and would love to care for your pup too. We have a huge yard that is fenced in for them to go out and play and a large neighborhood great for walks. A few of the dogs I have taken care, love to run in our backyard because there is room for them to run. Since I’m retired I have plenty of free time to take care of and play with pups. I love dogs and enjoy interacting with them. I want them to be happy and safe. I have a large, fully fenced in backyard and a separate fenced in side yard both of which can be closed and keep the dog inside. I also welcome any crates if a dog feels more comfortable in a crate at night. If a dog is well behaved at night, they could also bring a bed and sleep next to our bed.

This was our first experience with in home sitting. Joshua came to our home for an initial meet and greet and again before our trip to go over feeding, meds and a normal walk for my 2 Yorkie’s. This was our first time trying house sitting with our anxious dog and Stella did great! Our dog liked her right away! She was calm and reassuring. Martina was a great fit for our family. We would definitely book her again. Martina came to our house in advance to meet our dog and her people, and we all thought she would be awesome with Jet, and she totally was. After we came home, our dog continued to keep an eye out the front window, looking for Martina. Martina did a fantastic job communicating with us and readily asked questions about things I didn’t think to cover. Reagan is an incredible sitter and lovely walker! He listens to your pup and their needs. Xiaochang was AMAZING. We went on a road trip for about 10 days and i was never worried about my pets because she was constantly updating me! She sent photo updates every day, twice a day. You could really tell she cared for my pets. She even reached out to me about my sneezy cat because she was worried she made him sick! But he just has allergies lol. I felt at ease the entire time she was watching my dog and cat. I would 10/10 definitely book her again for any kind of service because i know she would treat my pets like they were her own!
I think Paloma was a trooper in the best way. She accepted a job in a house with an antique grandfather clock that has an audible tick-tock and quarterly chimes and requires manual winding. Our dog, Jet, really likes it because she can hear the progress toward mealtime. I appreciate Paloma stepping out of her comfort zone. I think the experience will broaden her experience and add to her value as a pet sitter. Paloma proactively communicated about issues that came up, largely dealing with the grandfather clock.
