Pet sitting for Peace of Mind!
Growing up as a child I always took care of my neighbors cat. I never did have pets on my own but I remember frequently visiting them to open a can of tuna for the little rascal to start climbing on me. During high school and college my neighbors would often go on vacation and ask me to pet sit their dog for weeks at a time. The poor fluff had cancer but I made sure he was getting the care he needed. Eventually when I moved to Wisconsin, I missed having a pet so I took up a shift at the local humane society and helped to take care of feral cats. A majority of these were easy to handle but I have lots of experience (and memories) from the ones that weren't so nice. I have sat for a variety of animals on my time on rover. I have had the playful puppies to the slow moving seniors who need a little assistance in their ever yday life. I create a space where the pet can be comfortable and build trust.

Will was a joy to have in our home taking care of our 110lb Great Pyrenees named Bear! At our initial interview, we knew he would be a good match. He asked good questions. He won us over with his confidence and skill dealing with a very large dog. Bear had a blast in our absence. Will walked him a least 3 times a day, played with him in our fenced yard, and kept Bear on a schedule. Will also took time to work on some of Bear's training exercises and adminstered his monthly meds. I really liked that Will worked from our home, so he spent most of the day with Bear, which is what Bear is accustomed to. We came home to a happy dog and a clean home. We would happily hire Will again.
Will continues to be a life saver for us!! Not only does he take amazing care of our pups, but our home and other animals, too. He was so considerate to take our bunny to the vet while we were gone when he realized something was wrong with her and didn’t hesitate to do so. He’s got the best communication, sends lots of pictures, and loves on our fur babies when we can’t. I wouldn’t want anyone else looking after them when we are gone. Just please don’t steal him from us. 🤣
Very proactive and responsive, before booking and during. He gave great updates each time he came by to take care of my cats, and had no problems following care instructions. Would book again for sure.
Will house sat for us over Thanksgiving weekend and we couldn’t be happier!! We received multiple updates a day with pictures of our beloved animals and detailed descriptions of how our animals were doing. Our house is in perfect condition, and he treated all of our things with the upmost respect. He is the perfect sitter!
Will is an amazing dog walker for Lucy. We fully trust him and Lucy absolutely loves him. His Rover reports are always detailed with great photos and we look forward to them every day. We are really grateful for the care he gives her.
Will was wonderful. He not only took great care of the dogs, but the house, too. He was very flexible with our crazy schedule and even went the extra mile to help us out with the pups when we had an unexpected change in plans. He's very communicative, so we had no worries about the pups at all - we knew they were in great hands! We plan to use him every time we need help with these crazy dogs!

Schedule
I work from home which allows me a lot of flexibility with pet care. I am able to make visits during the day and stay overnight as needed.

- It’s important for me to know about your pet’s personality, routines, and any special needs they might have. I’d love to know if they have any medical conditions, allergies, or specific feeding instructions. It’s also helpful to know how they do around other animals, their favorite activities, and anything that might make them anxious or scared. The more I know, the better I can make sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away!
