“Jack was wonderful! Arrived promptly, gave regular updates and circled back to make sure we arrived home n all was fine. Our 2 dogs enjoyed his company for the evening and he took them for several walks. I would highly recommend Jack for drop in walks or overnights. Such a peace of mind to know we have such a reliable, caring n really nice guy on standby to be with our dogs when we need to go out or travel.”

“Madeline did a great job watching my 2 cats! She was communicative, followed instructions, pulled in some Packages for me and most importantly has that calming personality around the cats and finds them fascinating. I will use her again!”

“Micheal was fantastic from the first point of contact . Communication was excellent before caring for Holly and Kobe and during the time they were in his care. Micheal ensured he had all the information he needed to care for Holly and Kobe . He took the time to get to know them before we went away . Whilst we was on holiday Micheal would send daily updates with photos. We did not have to worry about Holly and Kobe whilst on holiday as we knew they were being well cared for . We had two happy dogs on our return from holiday and they have not sulked with us for the first time for leaving them !”

About: I have over 14 years experience caring for pets. I bring a calm, attentive, and genuinely loving approach to every animal I meet. While I’m newer to dog sitting professionally, I’ve spent time volunteering as a dog walker and fell in love with their energy and personalities. I’m in pet care part-time. I’m flexible, reliable, and happy to tailor my care to exactly what your pet needs! Whether that’s long walks, playtime, or a slower pace for senior pets. I love building trust with each animal and keeping their routine consistent. I can reinforce any training or commands you’ve been working on, and I can accommodate special care needs, like administering oral medications or giving extra attention. At the end of the day, I treat every pet like they’re my own! They will be safe, cared for, and genuinely enjoyed. 😊 I work full time Monday through Friday every week during the day, but I am able to fit in a walk in the morning, midday, and evening! I live in a spacious apartment which has plenty of sidewalks to walk around. I don’t have any pets at the moment, so you don’t have to worry about your dog not getting along with others. I also only take care of one dog at a time.
“Jan was incredibly attentive and kept me updated constantly, which showed just how much she cared. If you’re someone who likes to feel very in the loop, she’s great.”

About: Don’t see that I’m available when you’d like to book? Please feel free to message me, and I’ll see if I can accommodate. Thank you for your interest! PLEASE NOTE: I WORK A FULL-TIME JOB IN AN OFFICE (based in Juno Beach) and may not be able to check on your pets as frequently as you’d like, especially during the day. I have experience caring all kinds of animals, personally and professionally for more than 10 years. Growing up and through adulthood, my family always owned Golden Retrievers. When I was young, I expressed interest in animal care and owning my own pets, ranging from small mammals, birds, and reptiles. In my teenage years, I started out pet sitting for family friends and have continued to pick up pet/house sitting gigs whenever and wherever I can. I also have experience administering medication to some of the animals I’ve cared for. Professionally, I have worked at a veterinary hospital and boarding facility for two summers. At this facility, I was responsible for the care and socialization of dogs of various sizes and demeanors. I also worked at my local humane society caring for cats and dogs with different lead styles, temperaments and bite thresholds. I was responsible for providing the dogs with three walks a day. Through this job, I also have some experience with clicker training and administering bordatella and rabies vaccines to incoming stray dogs. Looking to make extra money doing what I love! I do work full time, so my most open days for all services are Saturday and Sunday. However, I can accommodate AM drop in visits any day of the week. And I am open to pet sitting in your home any day, as long I can work it around my full time job. I provide regular photos and updates to owners to build and instill trust. I also make sure to follow care instructions as written to ensure proper care as intended. And I make sure to bring a calm and confident energy when entering and inhabiting your pet’s space. Your pet’s safety, happiness, and well-being are always my top priority!
“Gabriela is really fantastic. She arrived on time, and gave frequent updates about how our dog was doing. She was gentle and my dog approves! Very professional and dependable. We are looking forward to being a repeat client.”

“Brittany is a great dog sitter! She truly loves my fur babies! She is reliable and a great communicator. My dogs never appear stressed when I return home. She is very respectful of our home, as well. Brittany allows us to have some last minute getaways without worry about the safety of our fur babies!”

“Danielle did such a wonderful job with our dog and taking care of the house! Everything looked wonderful when we got home and we will definitely hire her again. She is such a wonderful, kind person!”

“Alexandra is awesome!! She took such good care of our little buddies (our doorman even commented on how she was super friendly and treated our dogs like her own babies!) She was super communicative and ended up staying later than originally planned because our flight got delayed, which was so sweet and thoughtful. We got home to an apartment cleaner than we had left it and she even left us some fresh flowers!! We will definitely have Alexandra take care of our boys again in the future :)”

“Michelle is an amazing pet and home sitter! She went above and beyond to make our dog Lacy happy and content. She kept a photo album and sent daily updates of their walks together and sweet photos of Lacy sleeping, playing and eating. Michelle also prepared Lacy’s homemade meals and lovingly played the same music, as when I’m home. It made being away much more enjoyable knowing Lacy was in such good hands. Thank you Michelle!”

“Julia was amazing! We had her stay in our home for 4 nights. When our return flight was cancelled she rose to the occasion to ensure our 2 pups were fed, walked, received their meds and were well taken care of until we could return home. She was very communicative, and sent daily pics, allowing us to enjoy a worry free trip. She was very respectful of our home and you could hardly tell anyone had been here when we returned. We can't say enough about this reliable and enjoyable young woman. We, and our dogs really like her and will definitely use her services again!”

“I booked house-sitting services with Julissa for my two Boston terriers. One of them being a senior pup that requires medication administration and has higher needs in general… Julissa was incredible with the both of them. She kept in consistent communication with me, sent multiple photos, took them on multiple walks, reached out responsibly with specific questions to ensure she was meeting their needs appropriately, and overall showed them a lot of love. She also left my house clean and tidy. I would highly recommend Julissa for anyone needing pet care… I will definitely be using her again!”

Julianna has taken care of our 12 year old Rottie, Mika, twice (house sat) and she is amazing! We definitely recommend her for anyone looking for a dog sitter. She is attentive to Mika and her needs as she is a senior dog. We get a lot of updates and pictures throughout the day which is always nice while we’re away. We were nervous the first time since we didn’t know how it would go but didn’t not hesitate to book Julianna the second time.

Brittany is a great dog sitter! She truly loves my fur babies! She is reliable and a great communicator. My dogs never appear stressed when I return home. She is very respectful of our home, as well. Brittany allows us to have some last minute getaways without worry about the safety of our fur babies!

This was our first time having Cheryl stay in our home, and she exceeded all of our expectations. She took wonderful care of our two dogs, kept us updated, and gave us complete peace of mind while we were away. She also went above and beyond by bringing in our mail, taking the trash out and back in, and helping with other little things around the house that made coming home so much easier. It was clear she treated our home with the same care and respect as she did our pets. We couldn't be happier with the experience and would absolutely trust her again. Highly recommend!

Caylee is a godsend. For two trips in a row now, our flights were delayed with the possibility of cancellation, and she immediately offered to stay longer or for another day and eased our worries. She’s kind to my dog, sends lots of pictures, and is very communicative. We adore her.

Nicole is dependable, caring, communicative, and truly goes above and beyond. I recommend her without hesitation and will absolutely be asking her to care for Rosie again. She is a rare find, and anyone who entrusts their pet to her can do so with complete confidence.

Margaret and Amos were amazing dog sitters. They watched are two dogs for 9 days and we were so happy with the experience. Our two dogs felt right at home and comfortable with them right away, even our anxious dog who always takes a while to warm up. While we were away they sent us daily updates and pictures. The dogs had such a great time and we so loved while we were away. We will definitely use Margaret and Amos again!
I literally cannot say enough good things about Rosanne. I was nervous about leaving our dog and the kindness, thoughtfulness, and care Rosanne had put me completely at peace. She gave him so much love and was so sweet to him. Couldn't have asked for a better person to take care of our dog while we were gone.

Gabriela was a wonderful pet sitter while we were out of town for a week. She gave our pooch all the love and cuddles while we were away. She provided daily updates on their whereabouts and sent adorable photos of their outings. She left the house in immaculate condition and was very respectful to our home. 10/10 recommend! 🐶🐾🦴

Rochelle is amazing! Rochelle took incredible care of my Salti. Salti is an outdoor diabetic cat and can be challenging due to his health needs, so trusting someone with him is not something I take lightly. I normally arrange two home visits per day, but Rochelle went above and beyond by offering to take him into her own home—and I’m so glad she did. She treated Salti like her own, showing so much patience, kindness, and genuine care. Rochelle was very communicative throughout his stay and sent frequent updates and photos, which gave me so much peace of mind. Salti was returned home safely, and showed no signs of stress. I felt completely comfortable the entire time and am extremely grateful to have found Rochelle. I would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, compassionate, and attentive pet sitter—especially for pets with special medical needs.

We were very happy with the in-home pet sitting services that Brenda provided for our senior dog for a 12-day trip to Europe. When our dog was younger, we would board him in other places. Since he is now 12 years old, it is easier for him to stay in our home and have someone come to stay with him. Brenda came to meet Hunter before our trip, so we felt very comfortable having her stay in our home with our dog. Hunter seemed happy when we returned home. We highly recommend Brenda as a pet sitter since we had a very positive experience with her.

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Juno Ridge walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Juno Ridge maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Juno Ridge choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
