I have experience caring all kinds of animals, personally and professionally for more than 10 years. Growing up and through adulthood, my family always owned Golden Retrievers. When I was young, I expressed interest in animal care and owning my own pets, ranging from small mammals, birds, and reptiles. In my teenage years, I started out pet sitting for family friends and have continued to pick up pet/house sitting gigs whenever and wherever I can. I also have experience administering medication to some of the animals I’ve cared for. Professionally, I have worked at a veterinary hospital and boarding facility for two summers. At this facility, I was responsible for the care and socialization of dogs of various sizes and demeanors. I also worked at my local humane society caring for cats and dogs with different lead styles, temperaments and bite thresholds. I was responsible for providing the dogs with three walks a day. I do work full time, so my most open days for all services are Saturday and Sunday. However, I can accommodate AM drop in visits any day of the week. Margaret and Amos were amazing dog sitters. They watched are two dogs for 9 days and we were so happy with the experience. Our two dogs felt right at home and comfortable with them right away, even our anxious dog who always takes a while to warm up. While we were away they sent us daily updates and pictures. Siddonie did an absolute AMAZING job taking care of our german shepherd, Luna! Our previous sitter cancelled the DAY OF our cruise while we were already boarding the ship so I was panicking, but Siddonie was able to drop everything and take care of our sweet girl. Luna is very shy and has a hard time eating her food right away, but Siddonie made her comfortable enough to get her to eat and I am so thankful. I would definitely rebook Siddonie in the future!!
