About: From a young age, my passion for animals has been a lifelong commitment. My deep connection began with rescuing a stray kitten at five years old, and since then, I have devoted my life to being a compassionate caretaker. This includes rescuing and rehabilitating injured animals I find, and regularly helping neighbors by caring for their pets. My entire life has been surrounded by animals, and I treat every one as if they are my own. I currently share my home with two dogs, whom I consider my world. My remote work arrangement provides a flexible schedule, which means I have the availability to seamlessly integrate pet care in to my weekly or daily routine. I have a fenced in yard and live in a very pet friendly neighborhood, allowing me to exercise your pets, by walking or letting them run loose in the backyard. About: No dog is too big or small for me to handle, I have had experience with dog sitting growing up with my aunt who is a pet sitter. I’ve helped take care of Great Danes, teacup chihuahuas, bearded dragons and even horses. I love dogs and their various different energy levels, from couch potato’s to rambunctious runners. I currently work a full-time job as an Environmental Data Analyst Monday through Friday. I usually get off work around 3:30 and live 10-15 minutes from my home. I am very flexible with my time after work, and can communicate well to coordinate pet care. And I am completely free during the weekend to coordinate pet care. As for my free time, I enjoy going to the beach with friends, my espresso machine and cuddling with my cats. I am very used to both big and small dogs, any type of cat, except exotics. I understand that sometimes animals can have accidents inside and have no problems cleaning. I’m very good and training all different breeds and well known to have the best behaved dogs. If I had it my way I would have a ranch full of all different types of animals. About: I have been around animals since I was born and I am very comfortable around them. I have a dog and three cats, myself and have been the sole person responsible for their care. Kayla is awesome! I had to leave town and my cat suddenly developed some eye issues. She only has one eye and had health problems in the past which almost caused her to lose it. Seeing it flare up at the last minute made me super worried, and I just happened to find Kayla on rover. When I saw she had a veterinary experience, I messaged her very late that night to see if she could squeeze me in. She happened to be up, met me and my cat the next morning, and totally saved the day. She sent lots of pics & updates. Was timely, communicative and all around a pleasure to work with. Leaving my cats is always the hardest part of traveling, but Morgan made it so much easier. The minute I met her, I felt comfortable. I can’t really explain it, you just know when someone is kind and trustworthy. I never worried while I was away because I knew the cats were exactly where they should be. sitters on Rover set their own , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
