About: I have cared for my family's dog from the time I was 10 years old. I feed and walk her daily, and am responsible for ensuring she receives grooming services and veterinary care. I love spending time with my dog, Emme; but have also spent a significant time walking dogs in the neighborhood on the side. My availability: Fridays (after 6pm), Saturdays, & Sundays. I am availability for dog-walking services from morning to evening. Text communication is preferred when discussing specific hours & other details. Safety is always a priority in my household, as we have a small shi tzu who is not afraid to venture outside. If your animal has any accommodations/special treatment, I am more than willing to customize my care according to their specific needs.

About: No dog is too big or small for me to handle, I have had experience with dog sitting growing up with my aunt who is a pet sitter. I’ve helped take care of Great Danes, teacup chihuahuas, bearded dragons and even horses. I love dogs and their various different energy levels, from couch potato’s to rambunctious runners. I currently work a full-time job as an Environmental Data Analyst Monday through Friday. I usually get off work around 3:30 and live 10-15 minutes from my home. Kayla is awesome! I had to leave town and my cat suddenly developed some eye issues. She only has one eye and had health problems in the past which almost caused her to lose it. Seeing it flare up at the last minute made me super worried, and I just happened to find Kayla on rover. When I saw she had a veterinary experience, I messaged her very late that night to see if she could squeeze me in. She happened to be up, met me and my cat the next morning, and totally saved the day. She sent lots of pics & updates. Was timely, communicative and all around a pleasure to work with. sitters on Rover set their own , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
