About: For the past five years, I’ve had the joy of caring for pets right here in our neighborhood, building a reputation as a reliable and loving sitter. Because I also have extensive experience as a neighborhood babysitter, safety, scheduling, and giving undivided attention are second nature to me. Whether it's keeping a high-energy pup entertained or making sure a shy cat feels safe, I treat every animal with the same patience and care I bring to childcare. As a proud pet mom myself to my dog, Indigo, and my two cats, I completely understand how important a routine is. I know firsthand that dogs and cats have very different personalities and needs, and I'm fully equipped to handle both! From structured walks and playtime to feeding schedules and cozy cuddle sessions, your furry family members will be in safe, experienced, and loving hands while you're away. Because I work part-time, my routine is structured directly around my shifts. I always coordinate my exact visit times with you in advance so you know exactly when to expect me! As an experienced cat mom of two felines and a long-time neighborhood babysitter, I know that every cat has a totally unique personality. Whether your kitty is a social butterfly who craves attention or a shy hider who needs their space, I tailor my visits entirely to their comfort level. During every visit, you can expect: Reliable Routines: I strictly follow your feeding schedules, fresh water refills, and specific treats or medication routines. Spotless Litter Boxes: Cleanliness is a top priority for me—I keep the litter area tidy and scooped during every visit. Playtime & Cuddles: For playful kitties, I’ll bring out the laser pointers, wand toys, and catnip. For calmer cats, I'm happy to provide gentle chin scratches or quiet companionship. Great Communication & Updates: You’ll get detailed updates and plenty of cute photo check-ins so you never have to wonder how your furry friend is doing. Safety First: My 5 years of experience looking after neighborhood pets and children means I am incredibly vigilant about closed doors, secure locks, and a safe environment. I treat your home with total respect and your cats like they are my own family!

I provide attentive, reliable in-home pet care to make sure your dog feels safe, comfortable, and stress-free in their own environment. I follow your pet’s normal routine closely including walks, feeding, playtime, and lots of attention while treating your home and pets with the same care and respect I would my own

“Brittany did an amazing job with my kitten, Kismet. She would send several updates and pictures/videos during her drop ins. I’d highly recommend her and I’m sure to book her next time!”

About: My family has had pets all my life and I took on the primary role in caring for them. In addition to pet sitting for many different families, I volunteered at a local animal shelter throughout high school. I am currently a graduate student in Miami. I am committed to lectures for a few hours a day but other than that I have a very flexible schedule that only requires studying on my own time. I live in a pet friendly building with a dog walking and outsideplay area. Additionally, there are two big parks close to my building that create an ideal environment for puppy play and walks.

About: I have grown up with dogs/cats my entire life. Pets, but most particularly dogs have brought joy to my life. I currently own two golden doodles who are ages 3 and 2. They are the highlight of my life! I am always here to take care of other dogs to ensure their happiness and keep them company. I want to ensure your pets happiness by giving them long walks! Each pet is different and I will attend to their needs in whatever way to ensure that they are taken care of. I am currently available to walk dogs on the weekends Saturday and Sundays. I am sometimes free during the week! Mostly free on weekdays from 7pm-10pm I have two dogs myself. I love taking them on daily walks. I try to give them three 30 minute walks and love taking them to the dog park.
“Mackenzie has always watched our feisty, 7 yr old cat & she was very quickly able to warm up to our new, little Daisy! She watched the girls through the holidays & it was obvious from the photos how much they love her!”

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs for 6 years now. Neighbors, friends, and my own 2 dogs. I love meeting and playing with new dogs. I also speak Spanish and French which makes it easier to talk with lots of different dog owners if their English is not the best or if the dog doesn’t understand English ;) I’m currently a full time student at northeastern university. I have lots of breaks between and after my classes where I’d be able to take care of dogs/animals or walk them. Im currently a student but have plenty of time between class or after class to take care of animals. I wake up early and I’m very active and love to spend time outside. My apartment is small meaning I always have an eye on the animal making sure they’re okay. I love cuddles and love hanging out with animals during my free time.

“Erin is awesome! She took great care of Suki while we were away, no issues at all. It was a huge relief to have someone reliable to check up on her while we were away. Suki loved her! She played with her every day and bonded with her, I knew Suki was in good hands. We arrived home to a happy kitty and our house the way we had left it! Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
