“Erin is awesome! She took great care of Suki while we were away, no issues at all. It was a huge relief to have someone reliable to check up on her while we were away. Suki loved her! She played with her every day and bonded with her, I knew Suki was in good hands. We arrived home to a happy kitty and our house the way we had left it! I’m so grateful for Erin and we will definitely be booking with her again the next time we have to go out of town!”

About: I've had dogs my entire life and started pet sitting and walking dogs in my neighborhood when I was young, so caring for animals has always come naturally to me. I grew up with pugs, so I’m very comfortable with small dogs, and now I’m the mom of Charlie, my 85-lb rescue who I’ve had for 6 years — so I’m equally confident with large breeds and strong pups. Even though I haven’t pet-sat professionally in the last few years, I have decades of hands-on experience with feeding routines, walks, medications, anxious dogs, and different personality types. I’m gentle, reliable, safety-focused, and I treat every pet like they’re my own. I work full time but am hybrid. Depending on your location, I can let your dog out for walks on my lunch break / during day. I am gentle and love all animals. My pup Charlie is wonderful but has his own high needs so I'm used to all sorts of dogs - even ones with behavioral issues. Love cats too!
“Aimee took care of my two cats while I was gone for the week of Christmas. She was very communicative and kept in touch about when she planned to stop in to check on them. She also sent lots of pictures which I loved! I returned home and the cats had plenty of food, water, and clean litter boxes. Definitely recommend Aimee as a dependable person to look after your pets!”

About: Since I was a kid I’ve always liked to take care of pets and give them all the love they deserve. I’d gladly help you with yours! I’m usually available, especially on weekdays after 6 pm and on weekends after 10 am. Anyways tell me and I’ll try to fit on your schedule! I would rather go to where your baby feels comfortable and familiar with its environment. I’ve been taking care of pets mostly in their own place, but if you really need them here with me, just let me know :)
“Kailey was a very good fit for my Bonnie. She cared for my girl with so much love and devotion. She met her medical needs and was genuinely concerned for her care. I received daily updates and communication. I trust her completely and will definitely use her from now on as long as she is available. Kailey has a beautiful, caring demeanor about her from the moment we first met, and I knew she was the best person for my Bonnie.”

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs for 6 years now. Neighbors, friends, and my own 2 dogs. I love meeting and playing with new dogs. I also speak Spanish and French which makes it easier to talk with lots of different dog owners if their English is not the best or if the dog doesn’t understand English ;) I’m currently a full time student at northeastern university. I have lots of breaks between and after my classes where I’d be able to take care of dogs/animals or walk them. Im currently a student but have plenty of time between class or after class to take care of animals. I wake up early and I’m very active and love to spend time outside. My apartment is small meaning I always have an eye on the animal making sure they’re okay. I love cuddles and love hanging out with animals during my free time.
“Kristen is by far the best sitter we have ever had for our cats. A total cat girl and you can she actually loves our cats. She is overly thorough and has a lot of pride in her services and it shows. We are so grateful for her flexibility and willingness to step in when we are away.”

“Tyler was on point with communication and photos. He's friendly, prompt and trustworthy, and pays attention to detail. I very much appreciate his help, and will be booking him again for sure.”

About: I grew up taking care of pets in my immediate family as well as friends and neighbors pets. I have over 5 years of experience taking care of a different variety of animals. I work part time as well as I take college classes online. I have no problem moving around my schedule to accommodate as best I can. Saturdays I am typically available after 5 pm I have a large fenced in yard and the sweetest mini Aussie that loves company. I also have a rabbit that is dog/cat friendly but is in his own room and enclosure.
About: Driven by a deep love for animals, I’ve dedicated myself to creating safe and nurturing spaces for pets. My journey began at a doggy daycare, where I gained hands-on experience bathing, walking, and interacting with dogs daily. Since then, I’ve continued to support local dog owners by offering dependable, compassionate care for their beloved companions. I have flexibility to care for pets at any time of day, including overnight stays and last-minute bookings. Any pet staying with me would rarely be alone. I work hard to make sure every pet feels comfortable and at home while they’re with me. I always follow their usual routine. Whether that’s sticking to specific meal times, giving medications, or anything else their owners request. They get multiple walks a day, lots of attention, and plenty of time to relax or play, depending on what they enjoy. Since I’m home most of the time, they’re rarely left alone, and I aim to create a calm, loving environment that feels like a second home.
“I have 2 elder cats, one with special needs. We moved and are new to this area. I needed a trusted soul with my girls and found just that. Easy, professional, a wish come true. To have Jessica is more then peace of mind to me. I was able to leave for an extended time and know, through communication and pictures that everything was alright at home. Having Jessica allowed me to have the best time in a very long time. I can't thank her and Rover enough. i will definitely book again. Thanks Jess!”

About: I have been taking great care of dogs for almost my whole life. I have always had a pet in my life! I have a huge heart for animals, while away at college I have taken in several dogs from the street and found homes for them. I believe that pets deserve the same level and quality of care as we give ourselves. I have cared for dogs of all sizes and temperaments and I understand that all dogs are different and should receive unique care! I will have full availability for the month of July before I start a new job in August! I can take care of your pets when it can best help you out. I have always been described by others as reliable and trustworthy. If I take care of your pet, I treat them as my own. Your pet will be able to enjoy their time with me and I will always make sure to send regular updates and photos. (My whole camera roll is photos of dogs).
About: I grew up with a Portuguese water dog. During Covid, my family got a mini goldendoodle who we are obsessed with. More recently I got a mini golden doodle for myself. I love walking, brushing and training her. I am only available on weekends to walk or sit your pet (no week days). Please let me know when works best for you! Thanks I am available to pick your pet up and take him or her on walks. I also am available to watch him or her at your house.
“Alexis was great with my two nervous pups! She was very responsive and was willing to come do a meet and greet with us beforehand. During the visit she updated me on how the dogs were doing and sent pictures. We will definitely be using Alexis in the future and I would 100% recommend her for all your dog walking/sitting needs.”

About: My family has had a golden since I was born and I was always entrusted to take responsibility of my latest dog Punkin! Apart from that I have watched and walked neighbor and family friends' dogs! I have experience dealing with dogs on strict diets and certain walking schedules. I also have experience with taking care of senior dogs. All deserve the same love and respect no matter the type or breed. I currently have no other job. I am available for check ins in between 10am (earlier if needed) and 8pm on the weekdays. My schedule does vary on the weekend but base hours for check ins are 10am till 7pm! Consultation regarding times for house sitting are open always! I have experience regarding crating the dog. I have no dogs at the moment at my house and currently am not offering services at my house. I always provide a good amount of play time and long walks for each pet but make sure they are comfortable with my presence first.
About: Hi, I am Vivi and love dogs thanks to my beautiful Cocker Spaniel Nero who filled our family home with joy for twelve years! I look forward to meeting and taking care of your pets. I have boarded dozens of beautiful dogs - big and small, for over three years now. I really enjoy it and so do the dogs! My partner and I will be with your dog throughout the day and they will get all the attention they need. We ensure to cater to each dog's individual needs during their stay. I'll also be sending multiple pictures every day so you can see how your loved one is doing :) I typically only host one dog at a time so that they are most comfortable. I also love cats, I’ve had the chance to babysit family and friend cats successfully. There will always be someone at home with your pet, either me or my partner. We are very active and will happily take your dog on longer walks in the middle of the day, morning or night, based on their preferences. I am very cognizant of each individual dog's personality and make sure to understand their interests and triggers when they arrive for boarding. With that, I ensure that your dog gets the appropriate exposure to other dogs and people. Needless to say, I make sure the leash and harness are properly secured before heading out on walks and are careful when approaching other dogs and people.

About: I’ve been around dogs and pets for most of my life and genuinely enjoy spending time with animals. Whether it’s going for walks, playing, providing companionship, or sticking to a pet’s normal routine, I take pride in making sure they feel comfortable and well cared for while their owners are away. I understand how important trust is when someone is caring for your pet, so I always focus on being reliable, communicative, and attentive to each animal’s individual needs. I’m comfortable with dogs of different sizes and energy levels and am happy to provide updates and photos so you can have peace of mind while you’re away. My goal is simple: treat every pet as if they were my own and make sure they receive plenty of attention, exercise, and care. My schedule allows me to be available during mornings, late evenings, and overnight. I work in the afternoons and evenings, but I’m happy to work with pet owners to make sure their pets receive the care, attention, and exercise they need. Your pet’s safety and well-being are always my top priorities. I take the time to learn each pet’s routine, preferences, and any special instructions to ensure they receive the best possible care. I believe in clear communication and will provide regular updates and photos so you can feel confident knowing your pet is in good hands. I understand that every animal is different, and I always approach pets with patience, attentiveness, and respect for their comfort level. Whether it’s a walk, drop-in visit, or house sitting, I’ll treat your pet and home with the same care and responsibility that I would my own.
About: What sets me apart as a pet sitter is the genuine love and patience I have for animals. As a pet owner myself, I understand how important it is to trust someone with your furry family member. I have a 5-year-old Chorkie named Cali, so I’m very familiar with providing daily care, attention, exercise, and affection that pets need to feel safe and happy. Pet care is already a big part of my daily routine since I’m a full-time dog mom. I structure my day around feeding, playtime, exercise, and regular walks with my dog, so caring for animals is something I naturally prioritize. Because of this, I’m consistent with routines and attentive to pets’ needs throughout the day. Adding pet sitting fits easily into my schedule, as I’m used to providing companionship, supervision, and active care to make sure pets stay happy, comfortable, and well cared for. Safety and comfort are my top priorities when caring for pets, whether in my home or a client’s home. I make sure pets are always supervised, kept in a clean and secure environment, and follow their normal routines as closely as possible to reduce stress. I pay close attention to feeding schedules, exercise needs, and any special instructions provided by the owner. In a client’s home, I respect their space and maintain the pet’s familiar environment, which helps them feel safe and relaxed while their family is away. I’m attentive to behavior changes, make sure doors and gates are secure, and keep pets away from anything unsafe.

Leah is so great with my puppy and two other furry siblings. She’s quick to respond and communicates very well when she’s arriving and leaving. She’s a tremendous help with my pets and they love spending time with her. I HIGHLY recommend Leah and would give her more stars if I could especially now that she’s hired for weekly visits!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
