Stefan has been the best!! He walked our two Belgian malinois multiple times daily for 6 months straight. He never called off a single time or showed up late. I can't give him a higher recommendation and I genuinely can't thank him enough for all of his help and support!!

About: Hi, my name is Victoria ♡ I’ve had an amazing experience caring for cats, and pet sitting is something I take very seriously. I always make sure your pet feels comfortable, accompanied, safe, cared for, and at ease while you’re away. Maintaining their routines, cleanliness, hygiene, and overall well-being is extremely important to me. Cats tend to warm up to me very naturally, often even more quickly than owners expect, and I’m naturally intuitive, especially with pets, so we tend to connect deeply. I’m also very sensitive to what makes each cat feel comfortable, secure, relaxed, and emotionally safe while respecting their individual personalities, boundaries, and needs. I absolutely love to snuggle, cuddle, and show affection with them. We also make sure to get in some fun playtime, stimulation, and exercise throughout the day. Communication and updates are kept organized and clear through daily photos, videos, and updates shared through an easy-access link, so you always have everything in one place instead of scattered throughout long message threads. Whether you’re traveling, stepping out of town, or simply need extra support, I’d love to help care for your cat with attentiveness, warmth, reliability, and intention. Feel free to read through my testimonials and reviews from past pet parents (located in my photos) , and if you feel we’d be a great fit, you can book a meet-and-greet with me to get started ♡ I have a flexible schedule that allows me to prioritize your pet’s care throughout the day and week. I’m able to adapt to your cat’s routine while making sure they receive meals, attention, playtime, affection, and quality companionship throughout the day so they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away. I do my best to treat every home with care, cleanliness, and respect. I maintain calm and safe spaces, carefully follow feeding and medication instructions, and pay close attention to each cat’s personality, boundaries, routines, and comfort levels so they feel as secure and relaxed as possible.

Brittany is awesome! I hired her to walk my new 10-week-old puppy on the days that I work, and she was always reliable and punctual. She sent photos and consistently spent more time with my puppy than I asked her to. I was able to go to work with complete ease knowing that Brittany was there taking great care of my puppy. Highly recommend!

About: I've grown up with pets all my life, cats, dogs birds and fish. I adore the unconditional love animals have. Ever since I was a child I've been dog sitting and walking dogs for my surrounding neighbors and friends. I work and live on a boat and am unable to have a dog of my own currently. To be able to spend time with a furry companion would brighten my day and your dogs! I have so much love to give them and whether it's a run or walk or just a good play, it would be a highlight to both our days. I have experience with all dog types ranging from young puppies to senior dogs. No matter what kind of dog it is I know I would give them the love and attention they need.

About: I’ve had English Springer Spaniels my entire life, so being around dogs has always been second nature to me. Growing up with energetic, affectionate dogs taught me how important exercise, attention, patience, and play are for keeping dogs happy and healthy I currently work at a marina during weekdays but work at my own schedule. I am happy to drop everything and anything I need in order to take care of your pup. I provide attentive, reliable in-home pet care to make sure your dog feels safe, comfortable, and stress-free in their own environment. I follow your pet’s normal routine closely including walks, feeding, playtime, and lots of attention while treating your home and pets with the same care and respect I would my own

About: Ive trained my own dog since he was a puppy without assistance from trainers or family for the last 6 years, i also have plenty of experience being around large dogs such as german shepards or great danes, and helping friends by taking care of their pets Im free to be scheduled anytime, i typically keep my days free doing small odd jobs so im always available even for long stretches of time Within my own home i typically keep food readily available in case my dog is hungry due to his high activity nature. I feed pets based off their activiy for the day and letting them use their instincts to gauge how much they eat, i also keep everthing scheduled and at a minimum i walk my own dog 3 times a day with regular bathroom breaks in my backyard. In a clients home i am flexible to do things as they are set up to be

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life, and caring for them has always been second nature to me. While I listed 15 years of experience, the reality is that I grew up with dogs and have spent years caring for my own, including senior dogs with specific routines and needs. I’m comfortable with energetic dogs who need a real walk, as well as older dogs who need patience, consistency, and a slower pace. As a high school teacher and football coach, reliability, communication, and responsibility are core parts of who I am. I show up when I say I will, follow instructions carefully, and genuinely enjoy building trust with both dogs and their owners. For June and July, I’ll have flexible availability day or night and am looking forward to spending that time doing something I genuinely enjoy: getting outside, staying active, and taking great care of dogs. As a teacher and coach, I’m used to structured routines, consistency, and early mornings, and working into the evenings—so pet care fits naturally into how I already live. During June and July, I’ll have especially flexible availability, which makes it easy for me to accommodate walks, drop-ins, and pet care throughout the day and evening. I believe good pet care starts with consistency, attentiveness, and following the owner’s routine as closely as possible. Whether that means walks, feeding, fresh water, playtime, medications (if clearly instructed), or simply keeping a dog company, I aim to make pets feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while their owners are away. For boarding in our home, dogs will have access to a secure fenced yard for outdoor time, as well as an individual outdoor pen if for supervised fresh air and space to relax. We also have crates available if your dog is crate-trained or prefers that routine. Our home includes senior dogs of our own, so I’m especially mindful of temperament, comfort, and introductions, but for dogs that enjoy companionship, there may also be opportunities for calm social interaction and play. I’m also a strong communicator and will keep owners updated so they always know their pet is in good hands

Lauren is absolutely exceptional! My very energetic dogs loved her right away. She has such a good and sweet manner with them. Also, her clinical knowledge from working as a Veterinary Technician is so helpful. She is very aware of the dogs when they are out, knowing exactly when to give them a rest or water or both. She also many times pointed out small things that I might want to look into regarding allergies, etc. Lauren is fabulous and I would highly recommend her!!!

  • 94% of walkers can help with special care needs
  • 97% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 98% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
