About: My family has had pets all my life and I took on the primary role in caring for them. In addition to pet sitting for many different families, I volunteered at a local animal shelter throughout high school. I am currently a graduate student in Miami. I am committed to lectures for a few hours a day but other than that I have a very flexible schedule that only requires studying on my own time. During June and July, I’ll have especially flexible availability, which makes it easy for me to accommodate walks, drop-ins, and pet care throughout the day and evening. I believe good pet care starts with consistency, attentiveness, and following the owner’s routine as closely as possible. Whether that means walks, feeding, fresh water, playtime, medications (if clearly instructed), or simply keeping a dog company, I aim to make pets feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while their owners are away. For boarding in our home, dogs will have access to a secure fenced yard for outdoor time, as well as an individual outdoor pen if for supervised fresh air and space to relax. We also have crates available if your dog is crate-trained or prefers that routine. Our home includes senior dogs of our own, so I’m especially mindful of temperament, comfort, and introductions, but for dogs that enjoy companionship, there may also be opportunities for calm social interaction and play. About: I've taken care of dogs and cats since i was 12 years old, my mom made me earn having a pet, making me go to work with her so I can make the money to buy litter, cages etc. I am beyond grateful she did because now it makes me want to work to take care of my babies and I now own 4 pets!! I'm currently working part time, I just graduated school so i have plenty of time for all fur babies🥰 I wake up to my babies and go to sleep with them, they are my life and joy The goal is to keep the pet’s routine as normal as possible. About: Ive trained my own dog since he was a puppy without assistance from trainers or family for the last 6 years, i also have plenty of experience being around large dogs such as german shepards or great danes, and helping friends by taking care of their pets Im free to be scheduled anytime, i typically keep my days free doing small odd jobs so im always available even for long stretches of time Within my own home i typically keep food readily available in case my dog is hungry due to his high activity nature. I feed pets based off their activiy for the day and letting them use their instincts to gauge how much they eat, i also keep everthing scheduled and at a minimum i walk my own dog 3 times a day with regular bathroom breaks in my backyard. Some of family members are veterinarians so I've worked and helped with all type of pets This is my full time job. I would leave the house to exercise and maybe lunch/ dinner. No longer than 2-3hrs.
