While I listed 15 years of experience, the reality is that I grew up with dogs and have spent years caring for my own, including senior dogs with specific routines and needs. During June and July, I’ll have especially flexible availability, which makes it easy for me to accommodate walks, drop-ins, and pet care throughout the day and evening. I believe good pet care starts with consistency, attentiveness, and following the owner’s routine as closely as possible. Whether that means walks, feeding, fresh water, playtime, medications (if clearly instructed), or simply keeping a dog company, I aim to make pets feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while their owners are away. For boarding in our home, dogs will have access to a secure fenced yard for outdoor time, as well as an individual outdoor pen if for supervised fresh air and space to relax. We also have crates available if your dog is crate-trained or prefers that routine. Our home includes senior dogs of our own, so I’m especially mindful of temperament, comfort, and introductions, but for dogs that enjoy companionship, there may also be opportunities for calm social interaction and play. About: Ive trained my own dog since he was a puppy without assistance from trainers or family for the last 6 years, i also have plenty of experience being around large dogs such as german shepards or great danes, and helping friends by taking care of their pets Im free to be scheduled anytime, i typically keep my days free doing small odd jobs so im always available even for long stretches of time Within my own home i typically keep food readily available in case my dog is hungry due to his high activity nature. I feed pets based off their activiy for the day and letting them use their instincts to gauge how much they eat, i also keep everthing scheduled and at a minimum i walk my own dog 3 times a day with regular bathroom breaks in my backyard.
