“As a repeat customer, we continue to be very happy with Richard. I came home early today and got to watch Bear’s excitement when Richard showed up for his walk. Definitely reliable, communicative and works great with our extremely active young lab.”

“Thoughtful, reliable, trustworthy. That would be enough for five stars but Marvin is also really gifted with dogs. Just great. We feel lucky to have found him.”

About: I volunteered at an animal shelter for 2 years and have always loved being around dogs! I fostered a dog for 5 months and have wanted to get involved with animals again. I’m currently a student getting my masters with a varying schedule during the week. My nights and weekends are always available for your dog needs. I will keep them on a leash when leaving the house and be aware that I may need to shorten the leash or take an alternate path if there are other dogs in the area. I will always clean up after the pet both inside the house and outside the house.
About: I have owned pet family members for decades and take pride and ownership in the care of the ones we love and care for the most. While I may not have professional kennel experience, I bring real, hands-on, consistent care experience that comes from years of personal responsibility with dogs. I currently work from home and have a flexible schedule, which allows me to give your dog consistent attention throughout the day. Because I live right on the intercoastal, I’m able to take frequent walks in a safe, scenic environment and easily incorporate regular outdoor time into my routine. Anna is so patient with my two adult dogs and new puppy. She’s reliable and communicates in a timely manner. Her schedule is flexible enough to cover needed days within a short time frame. We appreciate her so much! She helps us have peace of mind while we are at work. Thank you Anna!

She has been amazing with Azula! She’s patient, reliable, and really understands her personality. Azula warmed up to her so quickly and is always happy and comfortable with her. It gives me such peace of mind knowing Azula is in good hands. I’m so happy I found her and would definitely recommend her! ❤️

Katherine was the sweetest! She was great with communication and even though my dog is not the easiest to walk she was very patient and attentive with her. She left the cutest little handwritten cards behind, which was such a nice touch. I highly recommend her! Thank you, Katherine!

Lauren is absolutely exceptional! My very energetic dogs loved her right away. She has such a good and sweet manner with them. Also, her clinical knowledge from working as a Veterinary Technician is so helpful. She is very aware of the dogs when they are out, knowing exactly when to give them a rest or water or both. She also many times pointed out small things that I might want to look into regarding allergies, etc. Lauren is fabulous and I would highly recommend her!!!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
