While I’m new to Rover, I regularly help my mom with her Rover pet sitting clients, which has given me hands on experience with feeding, playtime, walks, cleaning, and ensuring all pets feel safe and comfortable. About: i come from a background of volunteer work at no kill shelters like peggy adams. this taught me a lot of different things about furry friends, different behavior patterns, temperament and health needs. i have been professionally sitting for the past few years now with cats and dogs and with all of that experience, it makes me very fit to take care of pretty much any fur baby at this point. i love animals and i treat every pet as if it were my own. i work in the healthcare industry remotely, so I do have a flexible open schedule. any specific timing requirements needed can be discussed before the visit. i have a fenced in patio and backyard area where i let my animals room free whenever possible i take them on long walks around my neighborhood and just kind of do all i can to ensure that they’re active and safe and make sure that my gates are constantly locked. especially if i know i will be going for a long walk and i will ensure the same safety in your home as well.

About: Hi, I’m Hope! I’m a lifelong animal lover and pet owner with experience caring for cats, dogs, rodents, fish, reptiles, and pets with unique needs. I’ve pet sat on and off for many years for family friends and neighbors, and I also worked at a science museum where I assisted with the handling and care of reptiles and other animals. About: I’ve been watching animals since I was 12. Including exotic small pets, which have lived long healthy lives. Most creatures I can handle and do not phase me. I’m a nursing student, so pet care usually offers me the ability to focus and more freedom than most jobs to study, while I walk animals (I use headphones) or snuggle with them. Pet care also keeps me focused; I like to schedule my planning around the pets' needs, which prevents my procrastination. In my home, I prefer to keep them near me; I have three dog beds: one that my dog likes to use, and two expensive giant ones that I wasted my money on because my dog has never touched them (🙃 I guess I can put the beds to use now, lol). In a client's home, I usually stay on the couch with them while I write notes (if that’s allowed). If the dog is extremely clingy, I try to stay in proximity
