About: What really sets me apart is that caring for animals isn’t just something I do; it’s been a huge part of my life for years. I started working with animals at 15, became a certified dog groomer, and for the past four years I’ve worked in the veterinary field. We go on multiple leash walks (my neighborhood requires it for safety), and I love bringing the dogs along for long walks so they get plenty of exercise and fresh air. I also have space to crate if needed. As a certified groomer, I can even send your baby home freshly groomed! In a client’s home, I stick closely to your pet’s normal routine to keep them comfortable and stress free. PLEASE NOTE: I WORK A FULL-TIME JOB (based in Juno Beach) and may not be able to check on your pets as frequently as you’d like, especially during the day. I have experience caring all kinds of animals, personally and professionally for more than 10 years. Growing up and through adulthood, my family always owned Golden Retrievers. When I was young, I expressed interest in animal care and owning my own pets, ranging from small mammals, birds, and reptiles. In my teenage years, I started out pet sitting for family friends and have continued to pick up pet/house sitting gigs whenever and wherever I can. I also have experience administering medication to some of the animals I’ve cared for. Professionally, I have worked at a veterinary hospital and boarding facility for two summers. At this facility, I was responsible for the care and socialization of dogs of various sizes and demeanors. I also worked at my local humane society caring for cats and dogs with different lead styles, temperaments and bite thresholds. I was responsible for providing the dogs with three walks a day. Through this job, I also have some experience with clicker training and administering bordatella and rabies vaccines to incoming stray dogs. Looking to make extra money doing what I love! I do work full time, so my most open days for all services are Saturday and Sunday. However, I can accommodate AM drop in visits any day of the week. And I am open to pet sitting in your home any day, as long I can work it around my full time job. I provide regular photos and updates to owners to build and instill trust.
