“This was our first time using Rover, and we hit the jackpot. Linda is amazing, and we knew right away that our boy was in good hands with her! She was so professional, kind, caring, and patient with our stressed, elderly dog. She clearly loves dogs and asked all the appropriate questions to understand his issues and schedule. She gave him his meds and followed his dietary requirements and his frequent food schedule perfectly, sent updates and photos, and was so intuitive about our pup’s needs. Having her stay with him in our home gave us such peace of mind. I would highly recommend Linda in a heartbeat!”

“Jack was wonderful! Arrived promptly, gave regular updates and circled back to make sure we arrived home n all was fine. Our 2 dogs enjoyed his company for the evening and he took them for several walks. I would highly recommend Jack for drop in walks or overnights. Such a peace of mind to know we have such a reliable, caring n really nice guy on standby to be with our dogs when we need to go out or travel.”

About: I’m an avid humanitarian and animal lover with extensive experience with dogs. I currently have more time on my hands to help others in need! Currently I’m working part time in Jupiter. I have Monday through Thursday off and work Friday through Sunday. Every morning dedicated to long dog walks! I have a gated yard and one sweet (and lonely) dog. He is wonderful with all dogs, all sizes and would welcome your pup happily!
“We had the BEST experience with Erica as our sitter. We were so impressed with how relaxed and not stressed our two dogs - and the cat - were when we came home. We were able to enjoy being out of town for Thanksgiving knowing our babies were is great hands. We got daily updates and and photos. I highly recommend Erica!”

About: I’ve been caring for animals for more than 30 years, from my own family pets to pets belonging to friends and neighbors. I have experience with dogs of all ages, from energetic puppies who need plenty of attention and playtime to senior dogs who need a little extra patience, care, and a slower pace. I understand that every pet has their own personality, routine, and needs, and I’m happy to follow the schedule and care instructions that help your pet feel comfortable and secure. Whether that means walks and playtime, lots of belly rubs, keeping up with a puppy’s routine, or giving an older pet some extra TLC, I’ll treat your pets with the same care and attention I’d want for my own. I have a flexible schedule that makes it easy to fit pet care into my daily routine. I work part-time in a medical office, typically for 4–6 hours at a time, and also work part-time from home. This gives me plenty of availability throughout the week and the flexibility to accommodate walks, drop-in visits, feeding schedules, playtime, and extra attention when needed. Because I’m not away from home for long workdays, I can be flexible with your pet’s normal routine and make sure they get the care, companionship, and attention they’re used to while you’re away. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I do my best to keep their routine as normal and comfortable as possible. I follow your instructions for feeding, walks, medications, playtime, and any special needs, and I take the time to learn your pet’s personality, habits, and preferences. Safety is always a priority, so I’m careful with doors, gates, leashes, and anything else that could put a curious pet at risk. I’ll also treat your home with the same care and respect I would expect someone to show in mine. Most importantly, I want you to feel completely comfortable while you’re away, knowing your pets are safe, happy, and getting plenty of attention and affection.
“Micheal was fantastic from the first point of contact . Communication was excellent before caring for Holly and Kobe and during the time they were in his care. Micheal ensured he had all the information he needed to care for Holly and Kobe . He took the time to get to know them before we went away . Whilst we was on holiday Micheal would send daily updates with photos. We did not have to worry about Holly and Kobe whilst on holiday as we knew they were being well cared for . We had two happy dogs on our return from holiday and they have not sulked with us for the first time for leaving them !”

A nightly stay is a 24 hour period, late pickups over an hour will incur a day fee for that day. This is so i can stay on a schedule for other appointments. About: When it comes to pets, I've had a menagerie of unique ones. My experience with them has enabled me to acquire the confidence that I possess thus far. However, 13 years ago, I was given the opportunity to work for a local dog trainer who has successfully expanded her business throughout the years. During that time, I became certified in Pet First Aid as well as certified as a Pet Care Technician. I developed training and Pet Care skills all under the mentorship of the certified dog trainer while employed at her business. I have handled and worked with multiple dog breeds and their personalities. I have a calm demeanor around pets which is reassuring to them. My instinct is to look after their needs and their comfort at all times. Ultimately, the proper care and safety of the client's pet(s) helps to ensure a successful ongoing relationship. I am employed part time, however, I can accommodate pet visits, overnights and walks on Tuesdays and Fridays as well as on weekends. I am somewhat flexible on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays after 2:30 p.m. When taking care of pets in clients homes I tend to their needs by frequent outdoor breaks or walks. Should the pet require medications, I can administer them accordingly. I make sure they are hydrating and keep to their feeding schedules. Their play time is equally as important along with adequate rest.
“Michelle is an amazing pet and home sitter! She went above and beyond to make our dog Lacy happy and content. She kept a photo album and sent daily updates of their walks together and sweet photos of Lacy sleeping, playing and eating. Michelle also prepared Lacy’s homemade meals and lovingly played the same music, as when I’m home. It made being away much more enjoyable knowing Lacy was in such good hands. Thank you Michelle!”

About: What sets me apart is my high energy level, physical fitness, and hands-on experience with specific breeds like French Bulldogs. Being exceptionally active, I’m able to give high-energy dogs the long, robust walks and exercise they actually need. At the same time, my experience with Frenchies means I’m fully aware of breed-specific needs—like monitoring temperature and breathing during outdoor play in the Florida heat. Whether your dog needs a workout partner or attentive, breed-conscious care, I make sure they stay safe, healthy, and tired by the time you get home. My schedule is almost completely wide open all week, so I'm available for last-minute drop-ins, flexible walk times, overnight stays, or full-day care. Evenings I usually drive Uber Eats for 2-3 hours. I treat every client’s home with the utmost respect, care, and security. Safety is my top priority: I double-check that all doors, windows, and gates are locked every time I enter or leave, and I follow all key and alarm protocols precisely. Inside, I keep spaces clean and hazard-free—ensuring food, trash, and small items are kept well out of reach. I also send regular photos and updates so you have complete peace of mind knowing your pets and home are safe, secure, and in great hands.
“I'm delighted to share our exceptional experience with Amanda. Her dedication to our boys well-being was evident in the daily updates and photos, providing reassurance while we were away. The house was immaculate upon our return, showcasing her responsible and attentive care. We wholeheartedly recommend Amanda for their reliability and genuine love for animals.”

“Julia was amazing! We had her stay in our home for 4 nights. When our return flight was cancelled she rose to the occasion to ensure our 2 pups were fed, walked, received their meds and were well taken care of until we could return home. She was very communicative, and sent daily pics, allowing us to enjoy a worry free trip. She was very respectful of our home and you could hardly tell anyone had been here when we returned. We can't say enough about this reliable and enjoyable young woman. We, and our dogs really like her and will definitely use her services again!”
“Flynn did an amazing job taking care of our miniature schnauzer and cat. She is trustworthy and very good around animals! You can definitely tell when your pets really like someone, and I feel vey confident that they love Flynn. Highly recommend her!”

Where do you begin with a dog sitter like Rachel! She is truely a blessing added to our little family. Rachel goes beyond an average dog sitter. She is extremely responsible, kind, and loving. Rachel is that kind of sitter, she becomes part of your family and you will just love her. Rachel gets 100 stars plus!
Sally and her daughter took care of our puppy Stella in our home for a week while we were on vacation. They did an excellent job caring for our puppy and keeping us informed daily with pictures. It was a great experience for us and the dog and we will definitely use them again.

Mitch did a great job taking care of our Pierce! He was attentive, reliable, and sent great updates throughout the stay. It was clear Pierce was happy, comfortable, and well cared for. I’d trust Mitch to watch Pierce again in a heartbeat and highly recommend him to anyone!

Anita was fantastic … she was the best dog sitter we ever had and we have had sooo many! She stayed with our Roxy for a week and provided tons of updates, love and care for our girl. She went out of her way to make sure we were never wondering how she was doing which with a senior dog made our trip stress free! She was clean and took care of our home, took mail in and took trash out and even watered my plants. I can’t recommend her enough.

Guilanna was great! She arrived as agreed and took the dogs out regularly. She spent the evening with them and I know they enjoyed the company! She had come prior to the date to meet me and the dogs, and get the lay of the land with schedules and where the dog supplies were. She was friendly and left notes for me on how/what each dog did.

Emily was absolutely amazing with our pups! She took such wonderful care of them and loved them as if they were her own. She spent quality time with them—relaxing by the pool, cuddling on the couch, and making sure they felt comfortable and loved while we were away. She stayed on top of their entire routine, from meals and walks to bedtime, and gave us complete peace of mind. She also took great care of our home and was incredibly kind, respectful, and reliable throughout her stay. We couldn’t have asked for a better dog sitter and will definitely be using Emily again and again to care for our fur babies. We highly recommend her!

I highly recommend Kathy for your pet sitting needs! She recently watched my dog Queenie, who has some anxiety from fleeing the dog catcher when she was four weeks old. Kathy did a great job trying to assure Queenie that not every stranger is a dog catcher! Kathy provided a safe, comfortable environment for my dog despite Queenies challenges. I would definitely book Kathy again!

Amanda was by far the best dog and cat sitter we’ve ever had. From the very first meet and greet, my little ones took to her right away — you can tell she’s a genuine animal person. She kept us updated the entire time with pictures and messages, which gave us total peace of mind. She was especially attentive to the weather and made sure to keep our dog calm and safe during thunderstorms (she’s known to try to bolt when she hears thunder). When I got home, both pets were happy, relaxed, and well cared for. We’ll definitely be booking with Amanda again. Highly recommend!
Lauren was fantastic!! She took care of Cowboy for 24 hours for us and he loved her! She updated me with photos and made sure I knew exactly how he was doing. She took him to play with friends, on walks, played at our house, and he even got a pup cup! I would absolutely recommend Lauren for the care of your fur baby and we would definitely be utilizing her services again!

Natalie was an excellent sitter. We received several updates and pictures of the pets... something that is severely lacking from sitters in this area. She was also very early, which worked out great for us! Our home was also left neat and clean, huge huge plus for us. Also, we didn't come home to anxious dogs for once! Natalie was just top notch!

Frequently asked questions about Rover
The average cost for House Sitting in Jupiter on Rover is $69.93 per night (as of September 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.
Rover makes budgeting the cost of House Sitting easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for House Sitting. For more information on service fees, click here .
As of September 2026, there are 1,658 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Jupiter. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Jupiter walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Jupiter maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Jupiter choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Jupiter. On Rover:
- 92% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 96% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 98% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
