“Joanna is simply the best! Had an emergency due to a canceled flight so I couldn’t get home and she was able to squeeze me in at the last minute! Thank you so much Joanna for your responsiveness and your care of our cats, we really appreciate you!!”
“Emily was so great with our lab! She came over beforehand to meet our boy, and he instantly loved her. She was excellent at communicating with us and made us feel completely at ease.”

“Erin has taken care of our French bulldog Gordy twice now. She is absolutely amazing. She communicates everything that is going on and even goes above and beyond. We feel very safe with her watching our beloved dog as well as coming to our home when we’re away. We will definitely be reaching out in the future!”

“Alex was great! Very reliable on time and even stayed longer than asked which was nice. She was detailed about the visits with pictures as well. Will for sure trust her with my fur babies going forward. :)”

“Ava took excellent care of Juno, she is so great with my cat and really takes extra time and care when she visits. Juno loves Ava and I feel at ease leaving her in Ava’s care! Thank you so much Ava”

“This was our first time reaching out for a pet sitter. We had previously used family members to care for our dogs, but with time restrictions and our family relocating, we found it more difficult to coordinate our schedules. That's when we reached out to Rover.com. I must say, we were a little anxious about having a complete stranger coming into our home and taking care of our two fur babies; Sam and Lila. My husband and I wanted to go on an impromptu beach visit to just get away before the holidays; so we went to Rover.com to see if there was someone compatible with what we were looking for in a sitter for our dogs. We looked around the site and of course did the searches close to our home. Now, what do you look for in a pet sitter? Well, we looked for someone that was in our area and of course someone who loves animals. Then, we found Brody! To be honest, my husband was the one who chose Brody based on his profile. Brody's caption; Dogs like bald heads apparently! This made us both laugh.. since my husband is bald as well and every dog loves him too! Well, we invited Brody over to meet us the day before we were to go on our trip and we really enjoyed his awesome vibe, personality and his genuine love for dogs which didn't surprise us when we found out that he has dogs of his own. So, after deciding on Brody and meeting him in person we were impressed! Our first meet up included Brody come in the front door and that our dogs would be receptive! YES! Mission accomplished! Our dogs were super happy to see Brody walk in the first time and every time thereafter! Brody kept our dogs on schedule as requested. Brody also took care care of closing our house blinds and turning lights on and off throughout his visits to make our dogs were comfortable through out the day and also giving our home a lived in look while we were out of town. Brody checked in when he started, and checked out when he was finished with a comment and photos of our pups at the time. I would highly recommend Brody to take care of your pets if you need a weekender or any other trip away from your home. We have already let Brody know that we will definitely be requiring his service at least once a month going forward in the spring and a long trip in May that we can look forward to booking having this peace of mind. We will definitely ask Brody to watch our Sam and Lila again!!”

About: We have three dogs and two cats and with that crazy dynamic have gained insights into conflict avoidance. Additionally, my wife and I foster puppies and kittens several times throughout the year. I’m recently retired and have a very flexible schedule. I’m available 7 days a week and will keep schedule updated with travel plans well in advance. I don’t plan on offering in home care at this time. This is something that we would consider in the future when our current environment changes (we have a senior dog). I will adhere to clients’ care instructions when supporting in-home care/visits.
“Lindsey is the best with communicating updates about our baby Koda! She always sends pictures from the visit. Koda loves his play time and Lindsey works with us on our late working hours to make sure he gets all the love he needs while we’re gone 😊”

“We have used Dana twice now and she does an exceptional job taking care of our 2 kitties. She’s reliable and the normally standoffish cats have really taken a liking to her!”

“Karen is wonderful! She is great with communication, always very quick to respond, sends great pictures. Consistently makes me feel that my cat is safe and well cared for.”

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life and caring for them has always been a true passion of mine. I volunteered at a pet shelter for a year, where I worked with both playful puppies and gentle senior dogs. My goal is to make every pet feel loved, safe, and happy while they’re in my care. I am currently in college and have a flexible schedule that allows me plenty of time to care for pets. Since I am not working right now, my top priorities are my schoolwork and providing attentive, reliable care for your pet. I am committed to making sure every animal I care for feels safe, loved, and well cared for. I care for pets by meeting their individual needs, whether that’s feeding them on schedule, taking them outside for walks or bathroom breaks, giving baths, and keeping their living area clean. I make sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for in both my home and my client’s home.
About: I’ve been caring for pets for over 15 years — from energetic puppies and senior dogs to cats and small exotics like chinchillas and other rodents. Friends, neighbors, and family have relied on me for walks, feeding, bathing, and companionship. I also spent years working as a veterinary assistant and in grooming, giving me knowledge of dogs both medically and aesthetically. Today, I work at a dog daycare while studying to become a veterinary technician, combining hands-on experience with professional training. Whether your pet needs play, patience, or specialized attention, I make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved. I have flexible availability and my goal is for your baby to stay as close to their routine as possible. I provide photo and video updates, as well as late-night visits when needed. I know how stressful it can be to leave your baby alone, and I want to take that worry away by keeping them safe, loved, and cared for. I use my knowledge from working with animals and my understanding of body language as part of my safety precautions. I never allow dogs off-leash in unsecured areas and always prioritize their comfort and security. In your home, I follow instructions carefully so your pet’s routine is kept consistent and stress-free

About: My experience comes from years of caring for my kids’ dog when I lived in New York, handling daily walks, feedings, and overnight stays. I’m patient, attentive, and treat every dog like part of the family—with the same care and respect I’d want for my own. I work from home and have a flexible schedule. I just ask for a little notice before bookings so I can plan ahead. Most weekdays and some weekends are open for boarding or day care. I live in a quiet home with a 15×15 enclosed patio where dogs can relax safely outdoors. I don’t have any pets of my own, so your dog will have my full attention. Please bring their crate or bed if they use one—I’ll make sure they feel comfortable and cared for.

Ruth-Lee is hands down "awesome"! We had a short notice trip Thanksgiving weekend and Ruth-Lee was able to fit us into her already busy schedule. My daughters can be tough critics, especially when it comes to the care of Gizmo. Their expectations were exceeded and more! They received daily check-ins and pics of their fur-baby safe and sound. Ruth-Lee taking care of Giz allowed the girls to relax and enjoy our trip. A life saver! Thank you Ruth-Lee!

Kathy was truly amazing with our dogs!! She was always on time, kept in great communication, and sent us regular updates and photos that really helped us relax while we were away. It was clear she genuinely cared about our dogs and gave them so much love and attention. We came home to two happy, healthy pups, and we’re so grateful for the peace of mind she gave us. Thank you, Kathy! We’re already looking forward to booking with you again. Highly recommend her!

My first time using Rover. We were out of the country and have a very anxious cat. Olivia was fantastic! She was responsible and responsive, sent photos and notes every day, letting us know how our cat was doing and even got her to come out of her shell. We felt very comfortable and were able to enjoy ourselves knowing our key was well cared for ! 😊
