When I board, your pup joins a comfortable, consistent routine — feeding, walks, potty breaks, and playtime throughout the day. I also have two playful dogs of my own and a fully fenced backyard, so your pup will have friendly playmates and plenty of safe space to run and burn off energy. For walks and drop-in visits, I can come to your home and work around your dog’s normal routine, making sure they get the exercise, attention, and potty breaks they need while you’re away.

I’d love to know your dog’s activity level and how they do around other dogs — are they social, and do they pick up on cues well? I also like to know about prey drive, leash manners (do they pull?), any food allergies, and whether treats are okay so I can make sure they’re comfortable and safe the whole time
A typical day
I love taking pets on long walks and making time to play together — whether that’s fetch, tug, or just goofing around. At home, my golden loves playing ball, so we throw the ball ALOT, and there’s a huge toy bin for your pup to dig through too

I work from home with a flexible schedule. My experience fostering dogs, along with raising service dog puppies, means I’m well-versed in handling different breeds and temperaments, plus obedience and socialization. When I’m not fostering, I will board in my home. However I will only board one dog at a time — so yours gets my full attention, constant supervision, and lots of companionship. Also, I just really love dogs!

Having Heather walk and watch our beloved June Bug was the best decision we could have made while making a difficult decision leaving our pup for 2 weeks. She has the upmost respect and love for our dog. This is the first time our dog has ever been with a sitter, and we can tell she already misses Heather. We highly recommend Heather because she loved and treated our dogs as we would.
Heather took such great care of my baby! He loved his walks and she really communicated so much to me. I felt so happy he was safe in her hands.

Heather was available last minute over the July fourth holiday after our original sitter had a family emergency. She was so prompt and took great care of our animals, and sent thorough updates and great pictures 🥰 We felt confident in her being able to respond to our reactive dog’s needs and Heather was super understanding and respectful of them when we did our meet and greet. Our shy kitty even made an appearance on one of Heather’s visits, so I know she really made an effort to spend time with the animals. Thank you again!!
