“Another fantastic week for Lulu with Dianne and Rob. Lulu got plenty of exercise, played with friends and we were updated with videos and pics everyday. It’s definitely become Lulu’s home away from home.”

“If you’re reading this then you’ve found your next pet sitter! Valarie was amazing with our fur babies. She was very loving, patient and kind. She opened her home to our two cats while we were preparing to move and it was by far the easiest part of the whole process. She was a great communicator and so thoughtful sending pictures and videos! Thanks again Valarie!”

“My little guy had a good time with Ms. Barbara and Grace. Oreo normally doesn't eat in new places, but he must've felt right at home while there. I was informed that he ate good while in her home. Also, I really liked that Barbara had dog training experience too...which she implements regularly.”

“Amy was absolutely wonderful. She was so communicative and provided the best service. We are very grateful, will use her in the future, and absolutely recommend that others trust their precious little ones to her as well.”

“Melissa was so wonderful with our girl Tilly! She has a great yard for Tilly to play in and gave her lots of attention, which she desperately needs as a 7-month-old high-energy puppy!”

About: I provide loving, personal care for your pet. I love animals of all kinds, and have had them all my life. I love to play and walk dogs, and treat them as if they are my own. I have a safe, fenced large yard and only take dogs on flea and tick control , non aggressive, and up to date on their shots, for the safety of my dog and others I care for. I can take dogs up to 25 pounds. I have been dog sitting for many years and can provide excellent references if needed. I require a meet and greet, to get to know your dog and for your personal assurance that I am the sitter for your needs. I also can accomodate dogs with special needs and other pets. A nightly stay is a 24 hour period, late pickups over an hour will incur a day fee for that day. This is so i can stay on a schedule for other appointments. Hope to meet your furry family member soon!!
“Annica and her family were wonderful caregivers for my dog. Annica has a calm and peaceful demeanor which is perfect for my dog’s personality. She sent daily pictures and updates. I wouldn’t hesitate to use her again and would recommend her to others.”

“Kyle was such a great pet sitter! Buddy loved playing with her dog and kids. She has a great big backyard that is perfect for playing fetch! I would definitely recommend her!”

“Penny was wonderful - she was warm, friendly and welcomed my two dogs into her beautiful home. She was prompt with communication and my dogs came home happy and well rested. Thank you Penny for taking such amazing care of them and Charley and Frankie are looking forward to seeing you very soon!”

“I was beyond happy with Hany. It was clear that she loves the pets in her care. My dog is usually nervous staying with new people, but Hany made her feel right at home. Often my dog won’t eat well with other people, but she was so comfortable with Hany that she ate well every day! Hany’s communication was exceptional. She sent pictures, videos and updates daily, which put me at ease knowing she was in good hands. . I will be a regular with this wonderful caregiver. Thank you Hany!”

“Barbara and Joe were wonderful host to our Vizsla boy sander. He felt so welcome and loved that he decided to sneak into bed with them in the middle of the night! They took him to the dog park, played with him and their fenced in backyard and welcomed him into their home as if he were their own. Definitely highly recommend”

About: Hi! I’m Alaina, a lifelong dog lover and experienced dog mom. For the past 10 years, I cared for my own beloved dog, Teddy, through every stage of life, including senior care and complex medical needs. Teddy recently passed from cancer, and I am experienced with this level of sensitivity and need. Through that experience, I learned patience, attention to detail, and how important it is to treat every pet like family. I’m active, dependable, and love spending time outdoors, whether that’s neighborhood walks, playtime, or simply providing companionship while you’re away. I understand that trusting someone with your pet is a big decision, and I pride myself on clear communication, reliability, and giving each dog the individual attention they deserve. Whether your pup is energetic and loves adventure or prefers a slower pace and extra cuddles, I’m happy to tailor their care to their unique personality and needs. I look forward to meeting your furry family member! Pets naturally fit into my daily routine because I enjoy being active and spending time outdoors. I start most mornings with a walk and have a flexible schedule that allows me to provide reliable drop-in visits, walks, and companionship throughout the day. Whether your pet needs exercise, playtime, potty breaks, medication reminders, or simply some extra attention while you’re away, I am committed to making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals and look forward to making them part of my day. Your pet’s safety and well-being are always my top priorities. As a longtime dog owner, including caring for a senior dog with medical needs, I understand the importance of following routines, monitoring behavior, and paying attention to the small details that matter. I will always respect your instructions regarding feeding, medications, exercise, and household rules. During walks and visits, I prioritize leash safety, hydration, and positive interactions while providing updates and photos so you can have peace of mind while you’re away.

My husband and I often board pets of family and friends at our home while they are out of town! Our work schedules allow for someone to be home at all times. We love our furry baby so much it is hard to go away but when we do she goes to summer camp at Barbara’s and we know she is very well taken care of. We get tons of pictures, it helps us a lot. Barbara is a great communicator and always let us know if Gucci gets picky with her food or anything she is worried about. Now that she had enough “summer camps” she felt comfortable taking her to the beach, they had a blast. We loved the pictures and seeing her in her favorite adventure. We are very fortunate to have found her.

Valerie took my dog at the very last minute for sitting when I realized the place I was going was not dog friendly. She sent photos and updates and was flexible with my pick-up time. It’s clear she loves pups and I would absolutely leave my guy with her again! Thanks so much, Valerie!!

Daniel and Madison were awesome. Our dog came back to us super happy and tired! They communicated well and sent us plenty of photos/videos while we were away. Their dog is super friendly and she and Jack were two peas in a pod. Highly recommend and will definitely be repeat customers!!

Diane & Rob are absolutely fabulous! It was my first time leaving Gracie with someone new in a very long time. They met with me beforehand and sent pics and videos while I was away. They respond and communicate immediately. They both are caring, loving and kind with the dogs. They are “the real deal” when it comes to dog people. They love what they do. I am very grateful to have met them and will definitely use them again in the future. 😊

This was my first time using Rover. I am so happy to say how impressed I was with Jaclyn and Kenneth. Jaclyn offered to visit with me before leaving Dixie and Toby. It was a pleasure meeting with Jaclyn before leaving them. We got to know each other, and it was very comfortable speaking with her…. I would absolutely refer both Jacklyn and Kenneth as I will reach out to them again when needed. Thank you Jackie and Ken for the TLC for Dixie and Toby. Until the next time!

Donna was awesome! Our French bulldog Fergus felt right at home with Donna and her family. We left Fergus for 4 days and she provided plenty of updates and pictures. He was one happy pup at her home. I’d recommend Donna for sure and we will be using her services again!

Keyla was absolutely wonderful with my dog! From the moment we met her, I felt completely at ease. She was kind, reliable, and clearly loves animals. She kept me updated with messages and photos, which gave me so much peace of mind while my dog was there. My dog was happy, well cared for, and clearly comfortable with her (he slept with his head on het shoulder). I would highly recommend Keyla to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring pet sitter!

Helen and Harvey were such great pet sitters for our golden retriever! Seriously went above and beyond taking care of treats and chewies for her when I neglected to bring them! Helen also gave me some really helpful training tips for our new pup. Could not recommend her and Harvey more!

Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
