About: I have grown up with animals of all kinds ever since I was a little girl. I am the go to caregiver for my family members whenever they go out of town and need a babysitter for their pets. I also volunteered at my local pet shelter for about a year to play with the kittens and puppies and provided daily care such as; regular bathroom maintenance, feeding, brushing, and my favorite, playtime! I work full time as a Research Assistant but I am able to walk or do check ins throughout the evenings after 4p.m. or early mornings before 8a.m. I am also able to stay overnight if needed. Fortunately, weekends are open to take care of your pets all day. I live with a hairless sassy kitten named Phoenix and a senior boxer named Boss. He is not as sweet to other dogs but loves a good cuddle. This has taught me how to read body language and learn boundaries with pets, especially lots of patience.
“Chanelis is hands down the best! We are new in town and my dog who is very selective warmed you to her right away. My anxiety was eased the whole trip and I know my pup has so much fun with her and Hope!”

“Liannis provided exceptional care for my dog Sam, brightening each day of his absence with delightful updates, videos, and photos. It was comforting to see Sam so joyful exploring Liannis' property, a perfect area for his endless energy. Her dedication to Sam earned my complete trust, making it easy for me to recommend her to anyone in search of a compassionate and skilled caretaker for their furry loved one!”

“Donna is absolutely amazing and we can not recommend her enough! We will certainly be booking with her for every dog-related need in the future. She was so welcoming to her gorgeous place and made our 18 year old senior gentleman right at home with her Bodhi who is very friendly and calm. Thank you Donna for your care this weekend we can’t wait to re-book!”

About: I’ve been a dog owner and animal lover for many years and understand how important it is to find someone you can trust with your pet. My property offers plenty of space for dogs to safely explore, exercise, and enjoy the outdoors while receiving constant supervision and attention. I am experienced with dogs of different breeds, sizes, and temperaments, and I work to maintain each dog’s normal routine to help them feel comfortable and stress-free. Whether your dog enjoys playtime, walks, or simply relaxing, they’ll receive personalized care, affection, and regular updates while you’re away. My goal is to provide a safe, fun, and comfortable home-away-from-home experience for every dog Why I love dog sitting: Dogs have always been a big part of my life. I enjoy spending time with them, getting to know their personalities, and providing a safe, caring environment where they can feel happy and secure. “Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine because I have hands-on experience caring for my own dogs and other pets. My day is structured around feeding, exercise, potty breaks, playtime, and making sure pets receive plenty of attention and supervision. I understand the importance of consistency, safety, and following each pet’s individual routine. Whether it’s a walk, drop-in visit, daycare, or overnight stay, I treat every pet like family and make sure they feel comfortable, happy, and well cared for.” “Providing a safe, trustworthy, and comfortable environment is my top priority. My property features a secure fenced yard and acreage, giving dogs plenty of room to exercise, explore, and enjoy supervised outdoor time safely. Pets are never left unattended for long periods and receive lots of attention, playtime, and care throughout the day. I follow each pet’s routine as closely as possible and maintain open communication with owners through regular updates and photos, so they can feel confident their pets are in good hands.

About: Dogs aren’t just pets in my home; they’re family. I’m a lifelong dog and kitty lover and experienced pet parent who genuinely LOVES having fur babies around me. I currently work with two wonderful Border Collies of my own and Kitty Kat, so I understand just how much trust it takes to leave your best friend in someone else’s care. When your doggy stays with me, they’ll get plenty of attention, affection, playtime, and companionship in a comfortable, safe, and fun home environment. I’m attentive, dependable, and very hands-on. I pay attention to each pet’s personality, routine, and individual needs, whether they’re energetic and playful or happiest relaxing beside someone on the couch. I also know how reassuring updates can be when you’re away, so I’m happy to send photos, videos, and regular updates throughout their stay. My goal is simple: a happy pup or kitty, a relaxed owner, and a stay that makes your dog excited to come back! 🐶❤️ Dogs are woven into my everyday life. My Border Collies and I are always doing something, from frisbee and catch to toy games, walks, and our almost-daily Segway adventures around Abacoa and Roger Dean Stadium. We take rides in the Wagoneer too because my dogs absolutely love going places. At home there’s playtime, bath-time splash sessions, the occasional ridiculous blanket “fancy dress party,” and plenty of downtime and affection. I work from home with flexibility, so pets aren’t fitted around my schedule. They’re part of it. I’ve spent years learning what keeps dogs happy in both body and brain. With my own Border Collies, that has meant everything from long exercise sessions and agility work to balance, fitness, and mental games. I teach them the names of toys, ask them to find and retrieve specific ones, and even work on putting things back where they belong. Mealtimes get real attention too, along with grooming, baths, dental care, and the little routines that keep dogs comfortable. Most importantly, I pay attention to the individual dog. Some want to run. Some want to play. Some just want a blanket, a toy, and somebody beside them. My job is to figure out what makes your dog happy and give them plenty of it.

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Jupiter
We had such a great experience with Gabriella! She sent us daily photos and updates, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. It was clear that our dog was happy, comfortable, and well cared for. She was reliable, caring, and made us feel completely comfortable leaving our pup in her care. We would definitely use her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy dog sitter!

Melissa is a fantastic substitute dog mom! She and her daughter, Maia, took such good care of my golden retriever, Daisy. Daisy is a sensitive, needy girl, and they made her feel right at home with lots of love, cuddles, and walks. I could tell how comfortable they made her and Melissa sent updates daily. I feel so at ease knowing we now have a responsible, responsive, and caring sitter we can rely on. We will definitely be using her again.

We love our furry baby so much it is hard to go away but when we do she goes to summer camp at Barbara’s and we know she is very well taken care of. We get tons of pictures, it helps us a lot. Barbara is a great communicator and always let us know if Gucci gets picky with her food or anything she is worried about. Now that she had enough “summer camps” she felt comfortable taking her to the beach, they had a blast. We loved the pictures and seeing her in her favorite adventure. We are very fortunate to have found her.

Daniel and Madison were awesome. Our dog came back to us super happy and tired! They communicated well and sent us plenty of photos/videos while we were away. Their dog is super friendly and she and Jack were two peas in a pod. Highly recommend and will definitely be repeat customers!!

This was my first time using Rover. I am so happy to say how impressed I was with Jaclyn and Kenneth. Jaclyn offered to visit with me before leaving Dixie and Toby. It was a pleasure meeting with Jaclyn before leaving them. We got to know each other, and it was very comfortable speaking with her…. I would absolutely refer both Jacklyn and Kenneth as I will reach out to them again when needed. Thank you Jackie and Ken for the TLC for Dixie and Toby. Until the next time!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
