âAlexandra took incredibly good care of my sweet dog and was communicative and sent pictures while I was away. 10 out of 10. Would highly recommend.â

âDianne and Rob were wonderful with my very anxious dog, Maddy! They were patient and caring with her - exactly what she needed. They provided her with the care (and space when she needed it) to feel comfortable. I received multiple text updates with pictures and videos during her stay. I was confident leaving my fur-baby in their care after a meet and greet with them. Their love of animals and desire to provide a safe and caring home was obvious. I would definitely recommend them (especially for anxious dogs needing some extra TLC).â

âHany and her family were absolutely wonderful with my furry baby, Sierra! They showed incredible care, attention, and love, putting my mind at ease while I was away. The regular photo updates were a lovely touch, and I appreciated the clear communication throughout. I wouldn't hesitate to reach out to Hany again for future pet-sitting needs â Sierra is in great hands with her! :)â

âDee is awesome. This is our second time using her services and our baby, Coco loves staying with her. This makes us feel very comfortable. She gives us updates that things are good and sends photos too. She is very reliable and communicative. We are happy that we have someone that takes such good care of our baby. Thank you, Dee!â

âGiselle has cared for our Gus on multiple occasions, for day care, a short trip, and two long trips (over a week each). He is blind and needs eye drops, so he needs a pet sitter who is extra careful, but we feel completely confortable leaving him with her: she is responsible, compassionate, and loves dogs. She even brought him to a veterinary appointment that I had scheduled before we planned our trip. He loves going to her house, and we always enjoy seeing the photos and videos of him while we are away--and it allows us to enjoy our vacation, knowing that he is safe and happy. Giselle is a real find!â

âMarvin was incredibly accommodating when my schedule changed last minute due to flight issues, I am very grateful for his flexibility and professionalismâ

âJennifer was very pleasant and my dog was happy to be with her. She walked my dog and responded to my emails. I drop my dog off on Saturday instead of Friday and she was happy to agree to that and I wish for her to be paid for Friday stay as a form of tip.â
âGreat environment for our dog, really appreciate the communication and photos, and for loving on our pup! This is our second stay and we hope to book again!â

âLuz is AMAZING! I felt so comfortable when i met her. House was clean, she took photos and kept me updated Throughout the day. She looked happy and cared for. I will be using Liz again. Thank you Liz!â

âMarcos is a great young man who took care of my dachshund for 5 days. I had a cancellation in the last minute and luckily he was available all the dates when I had to be out of state. We did a meet & greet meeting a few days before my flight. My dachshund, Rocky was very calm during the meeting & I was pleasantly surprised. Marcos has a very positive energy and. extremely calm personality. He is also very knowledgeable, patient, ambitious young man who is also an animal lover. I liked his flexibility, time management and the ability to make my doggie trusting him immediately. I would highly recommend his services and I would definitely hire him again to take care of my spoiled sausage dog. đThank you so much once again. Dessie Wâ

âXimena has been one of my favorite sitters on Rover, I will definitely reach out to her the next time I need a sitter! Itâs apparent she genuinely enjoys treating your pet as family â from the ball pitt, the splash pad, the toys, to them all cuddling in a bed together. I was happy to know that my Bentley had a few other dogs to keep him company and the others were just as sweet / played well together. She sent plenty of videos that my boyfriend and I would get excited to watch each time and even gave us a cute little card from Bentley that felt like him writing us a letter from summer camp lol. Bentley was returned to us his normal happy and relaxed self. There is also an Instagram account that you can see the dogs have a clean and spacious environment to either play or take a rest whenever they are tired out! @doggyhousewestpalmbeachâ

About: While Iâm new to pet sitting, Iâve spent years caring for my own pets with lots of love and attention. I had a pit bull for 7 wonderful years who loved long walks, tug-of-war, and spending time together. I also have a senior dog (miniature pinscher) that Iâve cared for for over 17 years, so I understand the patience and love older pets need. I may not have years of professional experience, but I promise to care for your pets as if they were my own. Iâd truly appreciate the opportunity to earn your trust. Thank you for considering me, and I hope to meet you and your furry family soon! đž Iâm available Friday through Sunday, where I can dedicate my full attention to your dogâs needs. Whether itâs playtime, walks, feeding, or plenty of love and cuddles, Iâll make sure your pup feels safe, happy, and well cared for while youâre away. Iâll treat your pet like theyâre my own. Since I donât have any pets at home, theyâll get my full attention and have plenty of space to relax and play. Iâll stick to their routine and make sure theyâre safe, comfortable, and getting lots of love while youâre away.
âWe are so happy for Nikki and Rob babysitting our Dog while we were out of town. They sent frequent pictures and gave him personalized attention and play time! We were relieved to leave him in such loving hands. I was personally worried he wouldnât want to come home with us!â

âSharon watched our dog during my wedding week and my husband and I couldnât feel any safer and calm the whole time knowing he was under Sharonâs care. Sharon was amazing at updating us and making our dog feel at home.â

âAmy did a great job caring for our dog Dolly while we were away. She stayed in close contact with us sending pictures and videos daily as well as updates on how the day was going. You can tell she has a big heart for animals:) We will definitely be using her again!â

âSar was an exceptional caretaker for our 6 month old greyhound puppy, Tiffin. He made sure that his every need was met, and kept in constant communication with us with lovely photos and videos. Given the holidays, we were grateful that Sar made Tiffin a part of his family for the week, and even gave him his own stocking and present! We felt very safe trusting Tiffin with Sar, and wouldnât hesitate to do so again in the future.â

Lucas was on his paws vacation with Morgan. Morgan has some magic to make dogs feel like at home. Our Labrador Lucas is also diabetic and Morgan had to do insulin injections twice per day. To say she is very caring person would be not enough. Morgan was following requested time for Lucas meals + insulin (as a professional vet, you can see she has a great previous experience). She was providing us with little updates daily and not once per day, she was sending the pictures to us with lovely funny comments. Lucas had his best BBFs and was exploring the backyard every day over and over. He was looking so happy. We very appreciate Morgan for sharing her dog friendly house with our Lucas! Highly recommended!!

Jane B is absolutely wonderful, she kept me updated with photos, offered to take Peanut a bath prior to pick up and I could tell how excited Peanut was to be there and to play with all the other dogs. She is extremely knowledgeable and passionate. I canât wait to book with her again!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justiceâs National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dogâs vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitterâs care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, youâre adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Roverâs reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
