“I’m so grateful to Luz and her daughter Samantha for taking such wonderful care of my cat – Kitty, while I was away. They were kind, responsible, and kept me updated with photos and messages, which gave me great peace of mind. Kitty looked happy and relaxed when got home, I could tell he was well cared for. I highly recommend Luz to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring pet sitter!”

“Dee was absolutely wonderful!! This was my first time ever boarding my dogs, she truly set my mind at ease. (I didn’t even cry leaving them for the first time). She was welcoming to my dogs, took it slow with them, and allowed them to sniff around during our first introduction. My dogs were calm with her while showing us around, and she understood the needs of my senior girl Roo. My dogs boarded overnight with Dee for the first time (first time with her and first time ever boarding!) and then the same week Dee took them for daycare. My dogs knew where we were going when I dropped them off a second time - neither were bothered, they walked in and seamed to know where they were going. When I picked up my dogs they were happy (not traumatized even in the slightest bit for me having left them), both times they were tired when they got home. Dee took them for walks, sent my photos and kept me informed. In highly recommend Dee! She is a lifesaver and I plan to use here whenever I need daycare/boarding! Thanks!”

“Gail is the best an animal lover people person conscientious dependable reliable my little rescue was scared of everything people other dogs his own shadow 10 days with Gail he started to come out of his shell greet people and other dogs he had such a good time he didn't want to come home thank you Gail”

“AMAZING!! From the moment I met Sar, I knew Pickles was in the best hands—and I was absolutely right! Sar truly treats every dog like family. He kept me updated with regular check-ins, photos, and messages, which gave me complete peace of mind while I was away. It’s obvious he has a special connection with dogs—he is nothing short of a dog whisperer! I can’t recommend Sar enough. If you’re looking for someone who is caring, reliable, and genuinely loves animals, look no further. Pickles can’t wait for his next stay!”

“Sammi was well taken care of. Larisa was very understanding and accommodating to Sammi being an older dog (who likes her space) which I greatly appreciated. I received photos each day and quick messages if there were any concerns. I will definitely rebook with her!”

“We knew Barbara was the one as soon as we met her. Her knowledge and demeanor speak volumes. She treated our little girl as if she was one of her own children. We couldn’t have been happier with her services. Her experience is evident, and the way our dog bonded with her just goes to show how good she is. We hope to see her again, just as soon as we need a sitter again. Thank you so much!!”

“My poodle was beyond happy here. He was well taken care of. Michael and Grisell were so accommodating to my last minute booking after another person canceled on me.”

About: Hi! I’m Alaina, a lifelong dog lover and experienced dog mom. For the past 10 years, I cared for my own beloved dog, Teddy, through every stage of life, including senior care and complex medical needs. Teddy recently passed from cancer, and I am experienced with this level of sensitivity and need. Through that experience, I learned patience, attention to detail, and how important it is to treat every pet like family. I’m active, dependable, and love spending time outdoors, whether that’s neighborhood walks, playtime, or simply providing companionship while you’re away. I understand that trusting someone with your pet is a big decision, and I pride myself on clear communication, reliability, and giving each dog the individual attention they deserve. Whether your pup is energetic and loves adventure or prefers a slower pace and extra cuddles, I’m happy to tailor their care to their unique personality and needs. I look forward to meeting your furry family member! Pets naturally fit into my daily routine because I enjoy being active and spending time outdoors. I start most mornings with a walk and have a flexible schedule that allows me to provide reliable drop-in visits, walks, and companionship throughout the day. Whether your pet needs exercise, playtime, potty breaks, medication reminders, or simply some extra attention while you’re away, I am committed to making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals and look forward to making them part of my day. Your pet’s safety and well-being are always my top priorities. As a longtime dog owner, including caring for a senior dog with medical needs, I understand the importance of following routines, monitoring behavior, and paying attention to the small details that matter. I will always respect your instructions regarding feeding, medications, exercise, and household rules. During walks and visits, I prioritize leash safety, hydration, and positive interactions while providing updates and photos so you can have peace of mind while you’re away.
“Chanelis was great!! Super attentive and always sending me photos. She made Drako feel right at home (exactly what I was looking for). I had a delayed flight and she was understanding when picking him up a bit later. Will definitely call her next time!”

“Helen and Harvey took excellent care of our dog, Molly. They welcomed he into their home and treated her as their own. Molly takes a few medications and they were very attentive to her needs. They sent us pictures while we were away. She was a very happy dog when we picked her up. I think she would have stayed with them if she could.”

“Super sweet! She was very accommodating to a last minute request. I dropped off my cat for the night and she provided her with a separate room since she has a dog. Overall great experience and would leave my fur baby with her again!”

“If you’re reading this then you’ve found your next pet sitter! Valarie was amazing with our fur babies. She was very loving, patient and kind. She opened her home to our two cats while we were preparing to move and it was by far the easiest part of the whole process. She was a great communicator and so thoughtful sending pictures and videos! Thanks again Valarie!”

About: I have been caring for animals for most of my life. Though mostly my own, I have had experience caring for multiple animals at the same time, with different feeding regiments. I've also cared for senior pets and have administered medications. I can drop in on your pets on the weekdays several times a day, and stay with them on weekends if needed. Though I am happy to work with you to whatever fits your needs. Though I'm unable to board pets, I am respectful of your home and pets. Safety and security is my number one priority! I want to provide piece of mind that your pets and home are well cared.
“Irene was a terrific resource for us. From the outset she showed to be the caring”dog person” we hoped to find to care for our girl. Midway through our “away” Ijrene notified us that Rosie had thrown up… not panicked a text message and described what she was going to do… which was exactly what I would have done for her. Afterwards Rosie exhibited no other symptoms Irene had notified us next few days her condition and Rosie was bounding out the door when I came to pick up/in flight… so Irene thanks snd we’ll see you again.”

“Gina was amazing with our 2 year old Aussie mix. Was the first time we have left her alone with non-family! She made our girl feel at home and comfortable (with backyard and sweet pup for playtime). ???”

“Giselle and her husband were phenomenal! Her care and concern for my dog was as if it was her very own! She not only walked him daily, but spent time playing and bonding with him so he felt comfortable! We will be boarding with Giselle in the near future!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Palm Beach Gardens
We had such a great experience with Caroline! She sent us lots of pictures and updates, gave our dog lots of good exercise, loved on him and even helped him practice some training skills. It was obvious from every update that he was happy, comfortable, and having a great time. Highly recommend!

Jane B is absolutely wonderful, she kept me updated with photos, offered to take Peanut a bath prior to pick up and I could tell how excited Peanut was to be there and to play with all the other dogs. She is extremely knowledgeable and passionate. I can’t wait to book with her again!

The Absolute Best! We left our Cavapoo with Elnaz and her family for one week while we were on vacation and I think our dog had a better vacation than we did! We were updated regularly with messages and pictures on how she was doing and could see she was constantly loved and spoiled. We were even wondering if our baby would want to come back home with us when we picked her up! I would highly recommend and hope in the future Elnaz and family will always be available to watch our baby girl dog :)

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
