I adapt to what makes your pet happiest and most comfortable, not what's easiest for me. I'm observant and communicative. I understand that pets can't tell us when something's wrong, so I stay alert and keep you informed with regular photo updates. I also respect that inviting someone into your home requires trust. While I'm still growing my professional pet care experience, I approach every dog with patience, care, and a commitment to making sure they feel safe and happy while you're away. With my part-time job ending in the early afternoon, I'm consistently available from afternoon through evening, which means I can offer flexible walking times, accommodate pets who need midday attention, and be there for evening routines when many pet parents are still at work. I build my week around the pets in my care. I keep my afternoons and evenings open specifically for walks, drop-in visits, and quality time with your furry family members. This isn't something I squeeze in between other commitments, it's a priority I plan for. My routine includes daily walks for my own household, so adding your pup to our route or stopping by for a visit fits seamlessly into what I'm already doing. I'm also home in the evenings, which means I can handle last-minute requests or provide updates with photos after our time together. Whether your dog needs a consistent daily walk at 3pm or you're looking for someone reliable for afternoon drop-ins, my schedule allows me to be dependable and present for your pet's needs. For dog walking, I tailor each walk to your dog's energy level and needs. I start by learning their temperament, any commands they know, and walking preferences. During walks, I keep them engaged and safe, monitoring their behavior, keeping a secure leash grip, and watching for any signs of discomfort or stress. I always bring water for longer walks, pick up after them, and take different routes to keep things interesting. Before heading out, I ensure doors and gates are properly secured, and when we return, I make sure your pup is settled with fresh water. For drop-in visits, I follow your routine as closely as possible to minimize disruption for your pet. I'll feed them according to your schedule and instructions, refresh water bowls, administer any medications if needed, and give them the attention and playtime they crave. I also do a quick home check, securing doors, bringing in mail or packages if requested, and making sure everything is as it should be. I always send photo updates so you can see your pet is happy and well-cared for while you're away. Safety is my top priority in both services. I'm attentive to your pet's body language, careful about potential hazards during walks (other dogs, traffic, weather), and respectful of your home and belongings during visits. I treat every pet like they're my own and every home like it's my responsibility to protect.

About: Dogs aren’t just pets in my home; they’re family. I’m a lifelong dog and kitty lover and experienced pet parent who genuinely LOVES having fur babies around me. I currently work with two wonderful Border Collies of my own and Kitty Kat, so I understand just how much trust it takes to leave your best friend in someone else’s care. When your doggy stays with me, they’ll get plenty of attention, affection, playtime, and companionship in a comfortable, safe, and fun home environment. I’m attentive, dependable, and very hands-on. I pay attention to each pet’s personality, routine, and individual needs, whether they’re energetic and playful or happiest relaxing beside someone on the couch. I also know how reassuring updates can be when you’re away, so I’m happy to send photos, videos, and regular updates throughout their stay. My goal is simple: a happy pup or kitty, a relaxed owner, and a stay that makes your dog excited to come back! 🐶❤️ Dogs are woven into my everyday life. My Border Collies and I are always doing something, from frisbee and catch to toy games, walks, and our almost-daily Segway adventures around Abacoa and Roger Dean Stadium. We take rides in the Wagoneer too because my dogs absolutely love going places. At home there’s playtime, bath-time splash sessions, the occasional ridiculous blanket “fancy dress party,” and plenty of downtime and affection. I work from home with flexibility, so pets aren’t fitted around my schedule. They’re part of it. I’ve spent years learning what keeps dogs happy in both body and brain. With my own Border Collies, that has meant everything from long exercise sessions and agility work to balance, fitness, and mental games. I teach them the names of toys, ask them to find and retrieve specific ones, and even work on putting things back where they belong. Mealtimes get real attention too, along with grooming, baths, dental care, and the little routines that keep dogs comfortable. Most importantly, I pay attention to the individual dog. Some want to run. Some want to play. Some just want a blanket, a toy, and somebody beside them. My job is to figure out what makes your dog happy and give them plenty of it.
