“Gina was amazing with our 2 year old Aussie mix. Was the first time we have left her alone with non-family! She made our girl feel at home and comfortable (with backyard and sweet pup for playtime). ???”

About: I bring genuine enthusiasm and reliability to every pet I care for. With my afternoons and evenings consistently available, I'm there when most pet owners need help- during the workday stretch when dogs need a break and that important evening routine when you're stuck at the office. What makes my approach different is that I truly pay attention to each pet's individual personality. Some dogs need a high-energy adventure walk, while others prefer a leisurely stroll with plenty of sniff breaks. I adapt to what makes your pet happiest and most comfortable, not what's easiest for me. I'm observant and communicative. If I notice anything unusual- a change in appetite, energy level, or behavior- I'll let you know right away. I understand that pets can't tell us when something's wrong, so I stay alert and keep you informed with regular photo updates. I also respect that inviting someone into your home requires trust. I'm punctual, follow instructions carefully, and treat your space with care. You'll never wonder if I showed up or how your pet is doing, I make sure you have that peace of mind. While I'm still growing my professional pet care experience, I approach every dog with patience, care, and a commitment to making sure they feel safe and happy while you're away. Your pet isn't just another appointment on my calendar- they get my full attention and care. Pet care is a natural fit for my schedule and lifestyle. With my part-time job ending in the early afternoon, I'm consistently available from afternoon through evening, which means I can offer flexible walking times, accommodate pets who need midday attention, and be there for evening routines when many pet parents are still at work. I build my week around the pets in my care. I keep my afternoons and evenings open specifically for walks, drop-in visits, and quality time with your furry family members. This isn't something I squeeze in between other commitments, it's a priority I plan for. My routine includes daily walks for my own household, so adding your pup to our route or stopping by for a visit fits seamlessly into what I'm already doing. I'm also home in the evenings, which means I can handle last-minute requests or provide updates with photos after our time together. Whether your dog needs a consistent daily walk at 3pm or you're looking for someone reliable for afternoon drop-ins, my schedule allows me to be dependable and present for your pet's needs. For dog walking, I tailor each walk to your dog's energy level and needs. I start by learning their temperament, any commands they know, and walking preferences. During walks, I keep them engaged and safe, monitoring their behavior, keeping a secure leash grip, and watching for any signs of discomfort or stress. I always bring water for longer walks, pick up after them, and take different routes to keep things interesting. Before heading out, I ensure doors and gates are properly secured, and when we return, I make sure your pup is settled with fresh water. For drop-in visits, I follow your routine as closely as possible to minimize disruption for your pet. I'll feed them according to your schedule and instructions, refresh water bowls, administer any medications if needed, and give them the attention and playtime they crave. I also do a quick home check, securing doors, bringing in mail or packages if requested, and making sure everything is as it should be. I always send photo updates so you can see your pet is happy and well-cared for while you're away. Safety is my top priority in both services. I'm attentive to your pet's body language, careful about potential hazards during walks (other dogs, traffic, weather), and respectful of your home and belongings during visits. I treat every pet like they're my own and every home like it's my responsibility to protect.
“Christy was great with my Koda. She made me feel very comfortable and treated Koda so well. She sent updates everyday which was great and appreciated very much! I highly recommend her.”

“Hany and her family were absolutely wonderful with my furry baby, Sierra! They showed incredible care, attention, and love, putting my mind at ease while I was away. The regular photo updates were a lovely touch, and I appreciated the clear communication throughout. I wouldn't hesitate to reach out to Hany again for future pet-sitting needs – Sierra is in great hands with her! :)”

“We are so happy for Nikki and Rob babysitting our Dog while we were out of town. They sent frequent pictures and gave him personalized attention and play time! We were relieved to leave him in such loving hands. I was personally worried he wouldn’t want to come home with us!”

“If you’re reading this then you’ve found your next pet sitter! Valarie was amazing with our fur babies. She was very loving, patient and kind. She opened her home to our two cats while we were preparing to move and it was by far the easiest part of the whole process. She was a great communicator and so thoughtful sending pictures and videos! Thanks again Valarie!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - North Palm Beach
We had such a great experience with Caroline! She sent us lots of pictures and updates, gave our dog lots of good exercise, loved on him and even helped him practice some training skills. It was obvious from every update that he was happy, comfortable, and having a great time. Highly recommend!

Giselle and her husband Chris were outstanding taking care of Barkley! They watched him during our honeymoon and sent plenty of updates, took him on walks, little adventures to the water and more. Barkley looked so happy in every picture and video and absolutely loved being with their dog Prince who absolutely loved having company and is such a sweet pup. Will absolutely book again for any boarding needs in the future. Thank you so much.

Jane B is absolutely wonderful, she kept me updated with photos, offered to take Peanut a bath prior to pick up and I could tell how excited Peanut was to be there and to play with all the other dogs. She is extremely knowledgeable and passionate. I can’t wait to book with her again!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
