“Helena is amazing!! Communication was excellent from start to finish, and I received plenty of updates and photos throughout the day. It was clear my pup was well cared for and had a great time. I felt completely at ease knowing he was in such good hands. I would absolutely book with Helena again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, caring sitter!”

“She is very attentive, very quick answering every message. Ganan as was very comfortable with her in her house. Definitely next time I’ll do a reservation with her.”

“So happy to have found Marcie on Rover. She was great with responding quickly and also setting up the meet and greet she took really good care of Khalifa while we were on vacation. I highly recommend Marcie for your furry loved ones🐾❤️”

“Ru had a great time with Dianne and Rob, and I felt so comfortable knowing she was in such kind, capable hands. I really appreciated the photo and video updates and will be booking again regularly. Thank you!”

“Luz was taking care of our two small dogs for 5 days. We were getting multiple daily updates with pictures. The pups were happy and relaxed. They came home and acted like they did not notice any change. We used to left them in vets office where they were caged for the most part, so it was always adjustment to come from there. With Luz they were allowed to be around the house free. Still had their cage for feeling secure. Just like at home. We loved the experience and we would recommend Luz's house for any pet owner. We will be using her service in the future. Thank you.”

“Egna was kind, thoughtful and mindful of my dog's needs. She kept me informed and sent photos daily while I was on vacation. I was relaxed and felt confident that she could handle any situation that could come up.”

“Yaniuska was so great with Cindy, she treated her like a princess, she did her hair, gave her lots of time outside in her amazing yard, and returned her bathed and polished. I highly recommend her and would definitely book again. My dog needed the attention and quality time. It was a great reset for Cindy.”

“Meggy was awesome. She took time to meet with us before the boarding date. Luna met Meggy and her 3 children. The meeting was fun and when we brought Luna for her boarding stay she went right in the house tail wagging. Meggy sent many pics and made the experience worry free. Thanks again to Meggy and the kids. We highly recommend Meggy.”

“Mary Ann Is the best. My dogs had a routine vet exam the day before our visit and they were sent home with soooo many meds and Mary took care of it like a champ”

“AMAZING!! From the moment I met Sar, I knew Pickles was in the best hands—and I was absolutely right! Sar truly treats every dog like family. He kept me updated with regular check-ins, photos, and messages, which gave me complete peace of mind while I was away. It’s obvious he has a special connection with dogs—he is nothing short of a dog whisperer! I can’t recommend Sar enough. If you’re looking for someone who is caring, reliable, and genuinely loves animals, look no further. Pickles can’t wait for his next stay!”

About: Throughout my life, we have added several different dog breeds to our family. I will care for your fur babies as they were my own. I am so lucky to have adopted puppies and cared for them until the end of their lives. I am a very caring person and will give your pets lots of attention and love. I am retired, so with that I have plenty of time to play and love your pet. I am available during the week even over night. I have plenty of room in my house for them and will be glad to walk them. I do have a patio that I can close if they want to spend time out doors.
“So happy to recommend CJ to anyone on Rover! Our 3-1/2 year old rescue dog, Jackson, had never stayed in anyone else's home before we found CJ on Rover. We were so grateful that CJ made him feel welcome, loved and totally safe in her beautiful South Florida home with a large, fenced-in yard. CJ sent us photos every day he was in her care--and she was also kind enough to set up playdates for Jackson before he started boarding, just to be sure he would get along with the other dogs in her care during his stay. We really could not have found a more perfect person to care for our sweet boy.”

“Larisa was so great! Very attentive and assured everything was great with follow up pictures of Ronan playing! Ronan was such a happy boy, when we arrived back at the house he ran upstairs and laid right down for a nap! I will be rebooking with her again, soon! Thanks so much ???”

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
