“The sweetest messages and updates! I felt like it was a loved one watching my pup. Kensie looked so happy and I can tell she was loved while I was away. They were so detailed from Kensies (my dogs) allergy issues, her scratching to them asking about even bathing her was so kind. I am so happy to have found a great couple to take care of my little girl”

“We had the pleasure of having Gabriela take care of our pup, Luna, this past weekend, and we couldn’t be happier with her service! She was incredibly kind, attentive, and kept us updated throughout the stay. It was clear that Luna was well cared for and loved. We highly recommend Gabriela to anyone looking for a responsible and loving pet sitter. We will definitely be booking with her again!”

“Gail is a beautiful soul that both you and your pet will connect with and appreciate! We were sure our pup would want to spend more time with her so we are booking many more visits with her in the near future! We (and you) could find no better care anywhere! Thank you, thank you Gail!!”

“I was beyond happy with Hany. It was clear that she loves the pets in her care. My dog is usually nervous staying with new people, but Hany made her feel right at home. Often my dog won’t eat well with other people, but she was so comfortable with Hany that she ate well every day! Hany’s communication was exceptional. She sent pictures, videos and updates daily, which put me at ease knowing she was in good hands. . I will be a regular with this wonderful caregiver. Thank you Hany!”

“Larisa took incredible care of my pup. She sent pictures and updates and was accommodating to my schedule change. Penny came Home happy and tired and is definitely going back for more!!! Thank you Larisa and family, you guys rock!!!”

“Dee is awesome. This is our second time using her services and our baby, Coco loves staying with her. This makes us feel very comfortable. She gives us updates that things are good and sends photos too. She is very reliable and communicative. We are happy that we have someone that takes such good care of our baby. Thank you, Dee!”

About: I bring genuine enthusiasm and reliability to every pet I care for. With my afternoons and evenings consistently available, I'm there when most pet owners need help- during the workday stretch when dogs need a break and that important evening routine when you're stuck at the office. What makes my approach different is that I truly pay attention to each pet's individual personality. Some dogs need a high-energy adventure walk, while others prefer a leisurely stroll with plenty of sniff breaks. I adapt to what makes your pet happiest and most comfortable, not what's easiest for me. I'm observant and communicative. If I notice anything unusual- a change in appetite, energy level, or behavior- I'll let you know right away. I understand that pets can't tell us when something's wrong, so I stay alert and keep you informed with regular photo updates. I also respect that inviting someone into your home requires trust. I'm punctual, follow instructions carefully, and treat your space with care. You'll never wonder if I showed up or how your pet is doing, I make sure you have that peace of mind. While I'm still growing my professional pet care experience, I approach every dog with patience, care, and a commitment to making sure they feel safe and happy while you're away. Your pet isn't just another appointment on my calendar- they get my full attention and care. Pet care is a natural fit for my schedule and lifestyle. With my part-time job ending in the early afternoon, I'm consistently available from afternoon through evening, which means I can offer flexible walking times, accommodate pets who need midday attention, and be there for evening routines when many pet parents are still at work. I build my week around the pets in my care. I keep my afternoons and evenings open specifically for walks, drop-in visits, and quality time with your furry family members. This isn't something I squeeze in between other commitments, it's a priority I plan for. My routine includes daily walks for my own household, so adding your pup to our route or stopping by for a visit fits seamlessly into what I'm already doing. I'm also home in the evenings, which means I can handle last-minute requests or provide updates with photos after our time together. Whether your dog needs a consistent daily walk at 3pm or you're looking for someone reliable for afternoon drop-ins, my schedule allows me to be dependable and present for your pet's needs. For dog walking, I tailor each walk to your dog's energy level and needs. I start by learning their temperament, any commands they know, and walking preferences. During walks, I keep them engaged and safe, monitoring their behavior, keeping a secure leash grip, and watching for any signs of discomfort or stress. I always bring water for longer walks, pick up after them, and take different routes to keep things interesting. Before heading out, I ensure doors and gates are properly secured, and when we return, I make sure your pup is settled with fresh water. For drop-in visits, I follow your routine as closely as possible to minimize disruption for your pet. I'll feed them according to your schedule and instructions, refresh water bowls, administer any medications if needed, and give them the attention and playtime they crave. I also do a quick home check, securing doors, bringing in mail or packages if requested, and making sure everything is as it should be. I always send photo updates so you can see your pet is happy and well-cared for while you're away. Safety is my top priority in both services. I'm attentive to your pet's body language, careful about potential hazards during walks (other dogs, traffic, weather), and respectful of your home and belongings during visits. I treat every pet like they're my own and every home like it's my responsibility to protect.
“Egna was kind, thoughtful and mindful of my dog's needs. She kept me informed and sent photos daily while I was on vacation. I was relaxed and felt confident that she could handle any situation that could come up.”

“Dianne and Rob were incredible with my 3 year old dog for a 4 day stay. They took the time to get to know every little preference and quirk prior to the stay. I had total peace of mind with several fun updates and photos every day. Not only was my pup safe and sound, but she also had a great time on her own little vacation! Highly recommend.”

“Yamille was a life-saver for us! We had planned to take our Havapoo fur baby with us on our trip, but at the last minute found out we could not take her. When I reached out to Yamille, she responded immediately. We exchanged messages back and forth and had a "meet and greet" via Facetime the next day. Yamille was so sweet to our little Salter and was very accommodating to our requests throughout the week that she cared for Salter. She took her harness off occasionally to brush her and also sent pics/videos. I believe Salter had a GREAT time with Yamille, her son, her pup and other pup friends. We flew home to NC later that day and Salter slept the entire journey - a sign that she had lots of playtime, snuggles and belly rubs from Yamille. I would trust - and look forward to - Yamille keeping Salter any time! Your pets are in good hands with Yamille! Thank you Yamille!”

“Marcie was fantastic with my dog Gracie. She gave me updates every day, with pictures, and did not have any trouble adapting to Gracie's issue of tinkling a bit when she's excited. I highly recommend Marcie as a dog sitter, and her house has the perfect backyard setup for a fun time with your pet.”

“Ximena has been one of my favorite sitters on Rover, I will definitely reach out to her the next time I need a sitter! It’s apparent she genuinely enjoys treating your pet as family — from the ball pitt, the splash pad, the toys, to them all cuddling in a bed together. I was happy to know that my Bentley had a few other dogs to keep him company and the others were just as sweet / played well together. She sent plenty of videos that my boyfriend and I would get excited to watch each time and even gave us a cute little card from Bentley that felt like him writing us a letter from summer camp lol. Bentley was returned to us his normal happy and relaxed self. There is also an Instagram account that you can see the dogs have a clean and spacious environment to either play or take a rest whenever they are tired out! @doggyhousewestpalmbeach”

About: While I’m new to pet sitting, I’ve spent years caring for my own pets with lots of love and attention. I had a pit bull for 7 wonderful years who loved long walks, tug-of-war, and spending time together. I also have a senior dog (miniature pinscher) that I’ve cared for for over 17 years, so I understand the patience and love older pets need. I may not have years of professional experience, but I promise to care for your pets as if they were my own. I’d truly appreciate the opportunity to earn your trust. Thank you for considering me, and I hope to meet you and your furry family soon! 🐾 I’m available Friday through Sunday, where I can dedicate my full attention to your dog’s needs. Whether it’s playtime, walks, feeding, or plenty of love and cuddles, I’ll make sure your pup feels safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away. I’ll treat your pet like they’re my own. I’ll stick to their routine and make sure they’re safe, comfortable, and getting lots of love while you’re away.
“This was our second time Sar and William took care of our pup, and once again, they exceeded our expectations. We left our pup with them for two weeks, and the level of care, attention, and genuine affection they showed made it so much easier to be away. What we really appreciate is the consistency—they provided daily updates with photos, videos, and thoughtful captions, which we looked forward to every day. It gave us real peace of mind knowing exactly how our dog was doing and seeing how happy and comfortable they were. Having used them before, we already trusted them, but this experience just reinforced that trust even more. It’s clear they truly care and treat our dog like their own. We wouldn’t hesitate to book with them again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a dependable, caring sitter.”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
