“We were very pleased with how Gema took care of Luca (95 lb. Lab). Gema cared for Luca during the holiday week and had a toy for him. I’ll definitely use Gema again for our dog boarding and highly recommend Gema for boarding or house sitting your dog.”

“I’m so glad I found Liannis! Her adoration for dogs truly shows and she took the best care of my puppy while I was out of town. She is absolutely the best dog sitter ever and I will definitely continue bringing my puppy Bella to her.”

“Marcie recently took care of my little Romeo while I was away visiting family for a few days giving me peace of mind knowing he was being cared for by someone who is as kind and patient as her. She greeted me giving a tour of where Romeo would be relaxing- her space is safe, clean plus dog-friendly. We were able to communicate easily with pictures and updates, even when my flight was delayed Marcie assured me that he would be fine until I got there. My Romeo will definitely be returning. Thank you so much! You deserve all 5 ⭐️'s.”

“Giselle was fantastic with our Remy. Her attention to detail with him allowed her to customize Remy’ care. She took the time to get to know him! I can’t thank her enough. Will absolutely be using her again!?”

“Luz was taking care of our two small dogs for 5 days. We were getting multiple daily updates with pictures. The pups were happy and relaxed. They came home and acted like they did not notice any change. We used to left them in vets office where they were caged for the most part, so it was always adjustment to come from there. With Luz they were allowed to be around the house free. Still had their cage for feeling secure. Just like at home. We loved the experience and we would recommend Luz's house for any pet owner. We will be using her service in the future. Thank you.”

“Yamille was a life-saver for us! We had planned to take our Havapoo fur baby with us on our trip, but at the last minute found out we could not take her. When I reached out to Yamille, she responded immediately. We exchanged messages back and forth and had a "meet and greet" via Facetime the next day. Yamille was so sweet to our little Salter and was very accommodating to our requests throughout the week that she cared for Salter. She took her harness off occasionally to brush her and also sent pics/videos. I believe Salter had a GREAT time with Yamille, her son, her pup and other pup friends. We flew home to NC later that day and Salter slept the entire journey - a sign that she had lots of playtime, snuggles and belly rubs from Yamille. I would trust - and look forward to - Yamille keeping Salter any time! Your pets are in good hands with Yamille! Thank you Yamille!”

“Martin and his wife were great stand in parents to our babies. Our one dog is an older grumpy boy and within a day or two he was allowing them to pick him up which says a LOT. They have a great fenced in backyard and sent lots of photos which reasured us all was fine. I definitely recommend them!”

“Amy took great care of Mocha! She was very responsive & provided pictures & videos of him every day. Mocha is sometimes weary of new people/places but she made him feel right at home. She knows how to care for animals & does her best to make them feel comfortable! I will definitely book with her again.”

About: I've had and taken care of dogs ever since I was child and i'm also mommy to a beautiful puppy called Ellie. Everything from basic care, playtime, teaching tricks, walking or running, vet appointments, taking care of sick dogs. I'm very loving, caring and responsible and will make sure your pets get the best care. I work full time 8-5 M-F. So i'm mostly available on week days after 4:00pm and on the weekends I am free all day long. (Boarding days are mostly on the weekends because I work full time. Could do boarding on week days if pet owner is okay with pet being in an apartment alone for a few hours. I also have a small dog, so dog must be friendly and get along with other dogs) I would take care of the pets as specified by the dog owner. I live in a gated community with a pet park ideal for the dogs to go to the bathroom and play. I can provide walks as needed, play time and any other activity as requested by the owner.
“Jennifer takes such good care of my boy Snow! She is very knowledgeable about dogs and everything that they could need. As an experienced handler and dog trainer I completely trust Jennifer to take professional care of my beloved boy! 10/10 recommend!!!”
“This was the first time we left our 2 dogs with anyone. Soraya did a phenomenal job not only caring for our babies, but also communicating their happiness and comfort, so we wouldn’t worry and be able to enjoy our stay in Palm Beach. Our boys made new friends and I’d dare say, would have liked to stay longer! Highly recommend Soraya because she truly loves her job of caring for your pets! Definitely will be using her again! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for such a great experience!”

“Dianne and Rob were great. Paris seemed to enjoy herself. She got a chance to run, which she loves. Dianne had her do a painting, which was quite adorable. We would definitely use them again.”

Whether you’re planning ahead for holidays, need last-minute care, or need same-day coverage for an urgent trip, you can message multiple sitters at once to find available care.
Once you find the right match, you can arrange a Meet & Greet to ensure they are a perfect fit for your pet’s personality before confirming.

You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available 24/7 by email or chat if you have concerns.
The personalized, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
