“We couldn’t have asked for a better experience for our two pups, Coco and Oso! From the moment we met our sitter Jasmine and Alejandro, we felt completely at ease. Coco can be more of an old soul who loves relaxing and cuddles, while Oso is full of energy and always ready to play — and our sitter handled both of their very different personalities perfectly. We received regular updates, photos, and messages that made us feel connected the entire time we were away. It was obvious our dogs were genuinely loved and cared for, not just watched. Coco looked calm and content, and Oso had the best time burning off all his puppy energy. Coming home to two happy, well-cared-for dogs gave us so much peace of mind. We are incredibly grateful and would absolutely book again without hesitation. Highly recommend to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, attentive, and truly compassionate with animals!”

About: I’ve always had dogs and I love caring for them. If you are looking for a responsible adult to love and care for your fur baby like they are family you have the right lady. I am currently working part time and I had plenty of flexibility to care for your fur babies. I treat each family individually and will connect with to set up specific requests. Dogs are free range in my home. I do not kennel them unless that’s what they are used to. I have a dog park in my neighborhood for play time, walks for exercise, and I have a big back yard for potty breaks.
“I had the pleasure of entrusting my furry friend to the care of the most incredible dog boarding family. From the moment I dropped off my pup, I knew she was in good hands. Her warm and nurturing demeanor instantly put both me and my dog at ease. Throughout the entire boarding period, she went above and beyond to ensure my dog was not only well-fed and exercised but also showered with love and attention. The regular updates and photos she sent made me feel connected and reassured, allowing me to enjoy my time away without any worries. Her dedication to the well-being and happiness of the dogs in her care truly shines through, and I can confidently say she’s one of the best dog boarders I’ve ever encountered.”

“This was my second time booking Morgan to watch my boys. My babies enjoyed themselves. She gave them plenty of potty breaks and a lot of outside play time. Morgan had very good communication and sent multiple pictures and videos each day. Obviously, would rebook again and again.”
“Kristen and her daughter were absolutely amazing! They were super attentive and communicated constantly. Would highly recommend her service! They made us feel like we were part of a community and that we have support!”

“We had a great experience leaving our sweet pup Meli with Valentina! She was sending us updates every day (sometimes even twice) with pictures! We were very happy to see that there were also other dogs there, so our Meli could socialize. Best sitter ever!”

“Stephanie is the best. She always takes the best care of our dog and keeps us posted while we are away with pictures and updates. I would strongly recommend her services.”

“She was wonderful! She sent many pictures and texts, which helped ease our mind about leaving him. She treated him as her own and you could tell she really cared about our dog. Highly recommend and will definitely book with her again!”

“Vicky is the best dog sitter you could ever find. She is trusting, warm, friendly, experienced and she truly cares about animals. I have a very difficult dog who I rescued, and he doesn 't love strangers. Vicky was very patient and loving, and was able to send me pictures of her picking him up. I haven't met anyone else who could do that to my dog, I can't speak higher of Vicky and her home. So grateful I found her for my little boy.”

“Kacy was amazing. I needed her to watch my dog, Dash, at the last minute on Thanksgiving weekend, and she did so with no hesitation. In fact, she went beyond by keeping me up to date on him and how he was daily. She sent several pictures throughout the day and eased my anxiety. I was nervous about using this app and sending my dog to someone I didn’t know, but she made Dash feel at home, and I feel like she’s known us for years. I would recommend her to anyone, and anytime I have a last-minute trip or a trip in general, I will use Kacy.”

“So thankful for Stephanie & Kevin! We have used them again and again! Having someone to trust with our German Shepherd is SO important. They are always so flexible and friendly. Our dog always comes home happy from a little vacation!”

About: I have saved and cared for dogs, cats and different pets since my childhood as an assistant to my veterinarian father. I learned kindness and love it’s what they need most ! I am currently working a very unique part time allowing me plenty of time to care for your fur baby in my house or yours! I have a fence back yard in a detached home near a beautiful park for pleasant walkings. I will follow all directions and schedules the owners have for their pets.

About: I’ve dog sat dogs from under 10 lbs to over 100 lbs. I am a Foster Dog Dad for Peggy Adams Animal Rescue. I have fostered dogs for them almost 90 lbs with perfect personalities and healthy to dogs weighing 15 lbs who have issues with marking and three different medications they are taking. I work full-time but I go home for lunch and I’ve brought my dogs that I have fostered to work with me if they have separation anxiety. Play time after work. Going on walks upwards of 2 miles. Lots of fun play time on the weekends. I care for my fosters in my home. They have access to toys and plenty of space to move around. I don’t crate the dogs I’ve fosters. They get treated like a dog would be treated by their owner. Lots of love, attention, and care.

Odalys and Manuel were amazing with my Lily. This was the first time I've boarded my dog and I'm so happy I did it with them. Right before boarding my Lily had an allergic reaction and had a bit of extra instructions with her medications. But they did an amazing job. They constantly sent me updates throughout the day and really treated my dog like she was family.

Christina was amazing with my senior dog Rambo. She took such wonderful care of him, kept me updated on his insulin injections, and sent cute pictures during the day. She was prompt taking care of his diabetic needs which was so important and very much appreciated. She was great with communication and very friendly . I would highly recommend her to anyone and very deserving of the 5 star rating.

Yaniuska was so great with Cindy, she treated her like a princess, she did her hair, gave her lots of time outside in her amazing yard, and returned her bathed and polished. I highly recommend her and would definitely book again. My dog needed the attention and quality time. It was a great reset for Cindy.

Susie was so attentive and caring towards our dog. This was our first time away from her and Susie’s experience, patience and compassion with my dog was exceptional! Thanks Susie and Martin for opening up your home for room and board and your heart for a new dog! I highly recommend Susie and Martin for your dog sitter needs!

I wish I can rate Mary Ann higher than 5 stars. This was my first experience leaving my dogs with anyone. I have to admit that Mary Ann was amazing with my babies Chihuahuas. She send fotos and constant communication giving peace. She is very loveable and my dogs loves her very dearly. Thank you for the excellent experience. Words cannot express my gratitude. I recommend Mary Ann to anyone.

I needed a last minute sitter and Courtney was incredibly flexible and accommodating. She boarded Mia for a few days and I couldn’t be more grateful for the care she provided. Courtney kept me updated regularly, sent pictures and gave me complete peace of mind while I was away. It was clear that Mia was well cared for and loved during her stay. I highly recommend Courtney to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring and reliable pet sitter!
Marcie was so kind & sweet with our pup! She was awesome at sending us photos & updates which gave us so much peace. From her updates , we could tell that our pup was having a great time & was MORE THAN COMFORTABLE . I would definitely book with her again. Thank you so much Marcie for taking such good care of our fur baby!

Christina and Zach were the best pet sitters we have ever had and would highly recommend them! They took such great care of our dog, hosting her in their home for 10 days. They went above and beyond, taking her on adventures and sending frequent updates throughout her stay. They were so accommodating, allowing her to feel right at home with her beds, toys, feeding schedule and even allowing her up on the furniture for cozy snuggles! We will definitely rebook soon!

Evan was amazing with Brudas! From the start, it was clear how much he genuinely loves and understands dogs. Brudas had an incredible time running around the huge fenced yard, swimming, and getting tons of attention and exercise. Evan kept me updated constantly and made me feel completely at ease. Honestly, how cool is it that he’s also climbed Mount Everest? If someone can handle Everest, they can definitely handle my dog! Truly one of the most trustworthy, attentive, and experienced sitters we’ve ever used.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
