“Kevin & his wife Mimi were the best sitters! Our baby Baloo had so much fun running in their huge yard and they were constantly sending me pictures which made me so happy to know he was having a blast. Thank you again Kevin & Mimi, Baloo will be back soon ❤️”

About: I’ve always had dogs and I love caring for them. If you are looking for a responsible adult to love and care for your fur baby like they are family you have the right lady. I am currently working part time and I had plenty of flexibility to care for your fur babies. I treat each family individually and will connect with to set up specific requests. Dogs are free range in my home. I do not kennel them unless that’s what they are used to. I have a dog park in my neighborhood for play time, walks for exercise, and I have a big back yard for potty breaks.
“Kristen and her daughter were absolutely amazing! They were super attentive and communicated constantly. Would highly recommend her service! They made us feel like we were part of a community and that we have support!”

“This was my second time booking Morgan to watch my boys. My babies enjoyed themselves. She gave them plenty of potty breaks and a lot of outside play time. Morgan had very good communication and sent multiple pictures and videos each day. Obviously, would rebook again and again.”
“I would highly recommend Jennafer to watch your dog! She has clear and concise communication. She was flexible with us and provided alternatives when our schedules did not match for the meet and greet and drop off and pick-up. She also was great with sending update and pictures.”

“Manuela is amazing. She kept contact the whole time. Sent pictures daily. The pups loved being with her. This is the 2nd visit with her. She won’t disappoint!”

About: I have saved and cared for dogs, cats and different pets since my childhood as an assistant to my veterinarian father. I learned kindness and love it’s what they need most ! I am currently working a very unique part time allowing me plenty of time to care for your fur baby in my house or yours! I have a fence back yard in a detached home near a beautiful park for pleasant walkings. I will follow all directions and schedules the owners have for their pets.
“Luz was amazing! She took care of our anxious/ special needs dog for 10 days while we were on vacation. We had a bad experience when we boarded our dog at a boarding facility last year. After 7 days at this boarding facility our dog had lost a significant amount of weight and had injuries requiring vet care. Luz provided daily updates with photos and provided plenty of cuddles. We highly recommend Luz!”

“They were truly awesome! They took such great care of our baby, are very nice people, have a clean home and send daily updates. I will definitely rebook with them and highly recommend them.”
“Thanks so much for looking after Hunter for a few days! He is so much happier boarding at someone's house rather than in a kennel. We appreciated the picture you sent during his stay.”

“She was wonderful! She sent many pictures and texts, which helped ease our mind about leaving him. She treated him as her own and you could tell she really cared about our dog. Highly recommend and will definitely book with her again!”

Odalys and Manuel were amazing with my Lily. This was the first time I've boarded my dog and I'm so happy I did it with them. Right before boarding my Lily had an allergic reaction and had a bit of extra instructions with her medications. But they did an amazing job. They constantly sent me updates throughout the day and really treated my dog like she was family.

Christina was amazing with my senior dog Rambo. She took such wonderful care of him, kept me updated on his insulin injections, and sent cute pictures during the day. She was prompt taking care of his diabetic needs which was so important and very much appreciated. She was great with communication and very friendly . I would highly recommend her to anyone and very deserving of the 5 star rating.

Yaniuska was so great with Cindy, she treated her like a princess, she did her hair, gave her lots of time outside in her amazing yard, and returned her bathed and polished. I highly recommend her and would definitely book again. My dog needed the attention and quality time. It was a great reset for Cindy.

Susie was so attentive and caring towards our dog. This was our first time away from her and Susie’s experience, patience and compassion with my dog was exceptional! Thanks Susie and Martin for opening up your home for room and board and your heart for a new dog! I highly recommend Susie and Martin for your dog sitter needs!

I needed a last minute sitter and Courtney was incredibly flexible and accommodating. She boarded Mia for a few days and I couldn’t be more grateful for the care she provided. Courtney kept me updated regularly, sent pictures and gave me complete peace of mind while I was away. It was clear that Mia was well cared for and loved during her stay. I highly recommend Courtney to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring and reliable pet sitter!
Marcie was so kind & sweet with our pup! She was awesome at sending us photos & updates which gave us so much peace. From her updates , we could tell that our pup was having a great time & was MORE THAN COMFORTABLE . I would definitely book with her again. Thank you so much Marcie for taking such good care of our fur baby!

Christina and Zach were the best pet sitters we have ever had and would highly recommend them! They took such great care of our dog, hosting her in their home for 10 days. They went above and beyond, taking her on adventures and sending frequent updates throughout her stay. They were so accommodating, allowing her to feel right at home with her beds, toys, feeding schedule and even allowing her up on the furniture for cozy snuggles! We will definitely rebook soon!

Evan was amazing with Brudas! From the start, it was clear how much he genuinely loves and understands dogs. Brudas had an incredible time running around the huge fenced yard, swimming, and getting tons of attention and exercise. Evan kept me updated constantly and made me feel completely at ease. Honestly, how cool is it that he’s also climbed Mount Everest? If someone can handle Everest, they can definitely handle my dog! Truly one of the most trustworthy, attentive, and experienced sitters we’ve ever used.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
