Pet care experience

We have owned and love dogs!

My wife, Susie, and I live in beautiful downtown Lake Worth Beach in a single family home with a big back yard for the dogs to run and play. Your dogs can roam about our entire property without any restrictions. We take multiple walks every day to provide the necessary exercise all dogs want. I work mostly from home while my wife travels on a very limited basis. This means that at least one of us will be home almost all of the time to make sure our guests have company. We are happy to accommodate any special requests your dog needs. About this sitter: We reside in a lovely single family home located just north of downtown Lake Worth Beach. We have a large fenced in backyard for your dog to play and roam in with our dog. If you would rather we come to your home to take care of your dog(s), we can certainly accommodate you. Either way, your dog(s) will be well taken care of. We always stay in touch to make sure you are informed. We have several dog parks near by plus Bryant Park at the Intracoastal Waterway which is always visited by many friendly dogs. Between my wife and I, we have a combined 55 years of experience owning dogs. We owned every size dog. From a 150 lb Great Dane to a 15 lb Lhasa Apso. We are both fully vaccinated! Why I love dog sitting My wife and I both had dogs during our childhood. We both have a combined experience with dogs for over 55 years. We love any breed or size dog. Meet my pets We used to own a Great Dane (Trudi) which passed away in 2012. We adopted 'Roadie' the following April. Unfortunately, he passed away last March. 😪 He was a super friendly Lhasa Apso who loves all dogs and people. Such a bundle of joy to be around and never stopped making us laugh and smile. We're not quite ready to attempt to find another dog. About my yard We have a generous size backyard with plenty of space for dogs to play and roam. The entire backyard is fenced in by a strongly constructed 6 foot high fence. There is no way a dog can get out unless he can jump over a 6 foot fence. Both of us work flexible schedules so between the 2 of us, we have a schedule that gives plenty of time to cater to your pets needs. The furniture is covered so your pet wil have domain of the main living space as well as the backyard.

Susie and Martin are the BEST! Ted loves going to camp and is very excited to get in the car in the mornings for daycare. We are so blessed to have them in our lives!

She was absolutely amazing! Her communication was consistent every day, and she sent me pictures of my baby, which made me feel so much more comfortable leaving my dog with a sitter for the first time. I truly appreciated the care and attention she gave. Thank you so much! until next time! 🐾💛

Martin and Susie are more than we could ever ask for in a sitter! Our dog Ted loves them like family and is never excited when picked up- which is a GREAT sign of what a day full of love and attention he had at daycare. So grateful to have them in our lives!

Moose had a wonderful time with Susie and Martin! I felt totally confident leaving my boy with them. With daily photos and updates, I never had to wonder how or what he was doing. Highly recommend them!

I do work to some degree from home and Susie does the majority of her work from home with some occasional travel. Between the 2 of us, someone is home most of the time during these bookings. Exceptions would be possible errands or maybe a dinner out.

Safety, trust & environment

We keep a pretty regular schedule of feeding times, any necessity for medications, and walks. We accommodate whatever you allow such as whether you allow dogs on the furniture or have a crate that they are used to. We did learn quite a while ago that we can't let all that are used to sleeping with you, do the same with us. Tends to make things crowded😁.

A typical day

Here's where we'll take our walks We live in a nice neighborhood with little traffic and many back alleys which dogs love to go for walks on. In addition there is a dog park not too far away and also Bryant Park along the Intracoastal. We also live in walking distance to downtown Lake Worth. Your dog's sleeping arrangement Our guests have full access to our home. Wherever they want to sleep is fine with us unless you have special instructions for us. Time I'll spend with your dog Your dog will be part of our family as long as he is under our care. With the exception of going to the store or out to dinner, someone will always be home to care for our dog and his playmates. Time I'll spend with your dog Stated in above paragraph for in home pet sitting. Extra house-sitting services Absolutely! We ask the same of our dog sitter.

It would help if we know a little bit about the dog's personality as well as his or her attitude towards other dogs. We also need to know if there are any special needs or health issues. Any well behaved dog is welcome under our care.
