“Everything was perfect for our first stay, my pup was well cared for and definitely happy for his first time. I was excited to have him back with me but will definitely be using this service again. She was very punctual, understanding, and communicative. Highly recommend”

“Jonathan was amazing with my senior Pomeranian. I loved that I was sent pictures and videos of him enjoying his time there! Our usual dog sitter moved so I had to find someone in a pinch. Booking was easy and quick and communication was great! Thank you so much for taking care of our fur baby this weekend. We will definitely be using Jonathan's boarding services again!!”

“Marcie took great care of my dog - sent pictures and communicated throughout. Marcie was flexible and accommodated me when my return flight was canceled. Will definitely re-book with Marcie.”

“Francia took such great care of our dogs when we were away. She sent a ton of updates and photos which made me feel at ease. It was clear my babies were happy when we picked them up. Will definitely be booking with her again and highly recommend!”

“First time leaving my dog with someone on Rover. Jennifer was a great communicator, ensured I felt comfortable leaving him with her, and he loved it there so much we had trouble getting him to the car! (Ha). Would use her services again anytime.”

“Jane B is absolutely wonderful, she kept me updated with photos, offered to take Peanut a bath prior to pick up and I could tell how excited Peanut was to be there and to play with all the other dogs. She is extremely knowledgeable and passionate. I can’t wait to book with her again!”

“Cristina and Jezy are the best. I highly recommend using them to watch your pup. They are very caring and attentive, making sure all of your pups needs are met. Christina and Jezy handled everything perfectly. They kept me posted with photos and videos of my dog. I could tell that my dog Angel was very happy with them. Both of there dogs are very sweet and got along great with my dog. I appreciate their help and would strongly recommend everyone to let them watch your pup.”

“Simone was wonderful with our baby. It was obvious he was well taken care of. He was brushed and knot-free, a miracle in itself! Plus Simone communicated daily with message and photos. We couldn’t be happier!”

“Valerie was absolutely wonderful!! They are such a kind person, and I felt comfortable with them form the moment we met. The communication was excellent. I received regular updates and photos, which made me feel so much better while I was away. I cant recommend them enough.”

“Stephanie & Kevin we’re awesome and Willy loved them! Very helpful at the last minute and with delays on returning from our trip. Highly recommend and will definitely use again!”

“Fernanda is an excellent host. If there was a such thing as a superhost I would rank her as such. Her home is clean and inviting for people and pets. Her back yard is a doggy oasis with thoughtful elements all around like fresh water and separations like a doggy park. She puts blankets on her furniture which allows them to feel a part of her family and be right at home. She surprisingly has a cat sanctuary separate from the rest of the house so if you are a cat/dog family like mine you can bring both. Fernanda sent pics and videos each day of the 10 days we were away, and that was such a nice relief. This was our first time leaving our dog and she was in great spirits at pick up, so it will not be our last. All youI need bring is your pet, their bed, and food and Fernanda will handle the rest. Thanks, Fernanda!”

About: I've taken care of animals since I was 10 years old! Dogs, cats, bunnies, and birds! I adore them, and I promise to treat them as if my own! I'm available 24/7, as this is what I am dedicating my time to! (Aside from my writing!) So I can walk, pet sit, whatever you need! Unfortunately, I am in a rental and so I cannot offer pet care at my home! But will come to you whenever you need! :) I will keep you updated with pics and how they are doing through my check in!
“Roxie came through for us the same day we needed the job to start. Our planned dog sitter cancelled the day we were leaving for Orlando and we contacted her and she agreed to keep our two dogs right away. While we were away she took them on walks, to the dog park, provided pictures daily and remained in touch. When we picked up our dogs they smelled amazing! We are so appreciative.”

“I would recommend Felicia with my dog again. This was the first time leaving him with a sitter and he did great. Felicia is great with sending pictures and letting me know how he was doing.”

“Williams did a fantastic job looking after my Frenchie! I was a first-time Rover user, so it was perfect to have found Williams. He loves dogs, was very communicative, and his home was welcoming to my dog. Over the 4 days of boarding at his house, Williams sent me daily updates and photos of how my dog was doing. Williams also has a friendly female dog, adding to my dog's happy experience during his stay. Upon pick up, my dog looked happy, well rested, and ready to come home. Thanks Williams! I am already planning my dog's next stay with you!”

“Liannis was great. Constantly kept my up to date with how my dog was getting on. Her place was huge so he had tons of space to run around and explore. Will 100% be using Liannis again in the future!”

“Odalys and Manuel were amazing with my Lily. This was the first time I've boarded my dog and I'm so happy I did it with them. Right before boarding my Lily had an allergic reaction and had a bit of extra instructions with her medications. But they did an amazing job. They constantly sent me updates throughout the day and really treated my dog like she was family.”

Shalie was able to take care of my fur baby at the last moment due to a family emergency. I loved the frequent updates, pictures and videos throughout the day. It really gave me peace of mind. Shalie was very responsive and most importantly took such great care of my Daisy, that it was honestly such a relief! Will definitely use her again, especially since she now has a relationship with my dog. I recommend her services because she is honest.

Casey took care of my baby Grizzly and she was so nice, you can see she really cares since she is a cat mom herself. She accepted to do drop in visits before our trip so Grizzly could meet her and be more confortable. My cat is super shy but she was very patient with him!

Emily was the best!!! She took care of our golden, Koa, for a full week and made sure to keep us updated with pictures the entire time. He looked like he was in great care!! My flight home was cancelled last minute and Emily was super accommodating and communicative. Would recommend her to anyone and would absolutely come back to her again!

I highly recommend Cassie. She was a fantastic sitter for my dog, Maya. She was friendly, accommodating, easy to communicate with, and made me feel at ease while I was traveling by sending lots of pictures and updates each day. I came home to a very happy pup and could tell she had received lots of love and been well cared for. I would book with Cassie again!

This is the first time I boarded Lolli with a sitter and we were SO LUCKY to have found Ashley! Lolli was very anxious and she went above and beyond to care for her, communicating with me all the way, so kind and generous! After the first difficulties Lolli was perfectly happy and secure, and I am so, so thankful for her dedication and care. Six stars!⭐️

We were set to be out of the country for 10 days. Piper, our 14 year old yorkie, had been staying with another lady when we would go somewhere that would not accommodate dogs, but she retired last year. I had originally found her on Rover and decided to look again for a dog With specific needs. I contacted Emily and we took Piper over to visit. She loved it there and Emily could not get enough of Piper, and she said yes! I had written instructions on feeding, quirks, etc. The day we dropped her off. Emily sent pictures and videos of what they had been doing all week! Piper loved the big dog pillow and claimed it as hers! We came back and was ready for home but I know piper would love to visit Emily again. Since she only takes one dog at a time that was a blessing. I highly recommend Emily to anyone who has a senior dog. We love her!
I'm so grateful to Savannah for being available at the last minute to care for my doggie Cleo overnight! She responded very quickly and was totally flexible with the short notice. Cleo is 13 years old now and has become very anxious when going somewhere new. Savannah was very accommodating when I asked to stay for a little while at drop off so that I could help acclimate Cleo to her home. She took the time to understand Cleo's feeding schedule, sleep time routine, and other needs. I loved that Savannah updated me throughout the night with messages and photos, which put me at ease knowing Cleo was doing well. When I returned home with Cleo, she was relaxed and happy. I highly recommend Savannah if you're looking for a responsible, compassionate pet sitter with lots of experience with dogs. I'll definitely have her pet sit Cleo again.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
