“Odalys and Manuel were amazing with my Lily. This was the first time I've boarded my dog and I'm so happy I did it with them. Right before boarding my Lily had an allergic reaction and had a bit of extra instructions with her medications. But they did an amazing job. They constantly sent me updates throughout the day and really treated my dog like she was family.”

“Farrah and Johnathon took great care of our dog. Our 80 lb mix can be reactive and Farrah’s calm personality put us and our dog at ease. We received picture updates each morning and never had to request them. She made sure our dog got along with the other dogs and reported back on his behavior. Very grateful to have found them. Will book again!”

“I left my frenchie with Sian for 2 weeks and she took great care of him. She consistently sent pictures and videos and was very responsive! I’d highly recommend her and would use her in future dog boardings :)”

“Sharie was amazing. I have an older dog that requires a little more attention to detail and she nailed it! She text and sent pictures/ videos everyday. She I a very sweet person and loves the dog she is taking care of. I made the perfect choice when I chose her to board my baby. Thanks a million Sharie!!”

“Tiffany was wonderful with Maxwell! She helped me out on very short notice, picked him up from my home, and took great care of him for the afternoon. She sent me pictures and videos while he was with her, which I really appreciated and found very reassuring. She was friendly, reliable, communicative, and made me feel comfortable knowing Maxwell was in good hands. I would definitely recommend Tiffany and would happily have her watch Maxwell again!”

“Jennifer took care of our Frankie for almost three weeks. He seemed happy and comfortable during the long stay. Jennifer has a great outdoor environment for pups to get plenty of safe, outdoor exercise and playtime. We really appreciated having our boy with Jennifer. Thank you, Jennifer”

“Marcie is THE best! Our dog, Peggy, felt right at home with Marcie and it was apparent by the videos and pictures we received while on a vacation that we were unfortunately not able to take the fury baby on. We missed our girl but knowing she was having a good time definitely settled our thoughts on having to leave her behind. Marcie was also very attentive and made sure to check for things I had asked her to look out for. Our dog’s allergies flare up and her ears sometimes get irritated. I received daily texts and updates and on one day Marcie had let me know that Peggy had started to shake her head which led Marcie to check her ears. She then put the medication we had left “just incase” and kept us informed. Knowing that Marcie was on top of our dog’s health too, made me certain that we had made the right choice in choosing her to watch our baby girl.”

“Our 12 year old doggie Luna stayed with Jennafer and her family over the holidays and it was so fabulous!! I received pictures of her frequently and felt that our Luna was at her “home away from home” 😍 I so appreciate the wonderful care from this family that allowed to spend time with our far away families with No Worries At All!! Highly recommend!!!!”

“Sar was an exceptional caretaker for our 6 month old greyhound puppy, Tiffin. He made sure that his every need was met, and kept in constant communication with us with lovely photos and videos. Given the holidays, we were grateful that Sar made Tiffin a part of his family for the week, and even gave him his own stocking and present! We felt very safe trusting Tiffin with Sar, and wouldn’t hesitate to do so again in the future.”

“what wonderful hosts for our sweet dog. Like going to camp, she does not want to leave. terrific communication and updates and safe and fun environment.”

“Johana is the best sitter I’ve ever use for Snowball, she checked in daily with me about snowball and send me lots of pictures with snowball. Looking forward to book her again in the future.”

“100% would recommend- they took great care of my boy blue and I was very happy with the all the photos and videos I was reciving everyday!!! Thank you so much !!”

“Lissette took great care of my dog and followed all feeding instructions. I received updates and photos during his stay and was happy to hear that he was having a great time. I will definitely book again!”

“Thomas is a natural with my pups. As they were getting out of the car, he was instantly making them mind, and this is super important to me. He is fantastic in sending photos and videos throughout the stay, which means so much! I travel for work, and regularly need my pups cared for while I’m gone. I highly recommend Thomas and will continue to use him in the future! We appreciate you Thomas! ❤️?”

“Gail was so kind in being able to watch Nala last minute for a few hours. Felt very comfortable leaving Nala with her! She was very responsive and took good care of our pup.”

“My dog stayed with Caitlin in her home for almost 10 days and she did a wonderful job. I have a young Australian Shepherd who needs a lot of exercise and stimulation and he loved his stay at Camp Caitlin! She was very thorough in understanding his needs and routines in order to keep him safe and happy during his stay and keep the transition as low-stress as possible. We also did a meet and greet ahead of booking so I could see where my pup would be staying which was very comforting. She sent pictures and communicated with me everyday and truly treated my dog as her own. 10/10 would book with her again, for long stays, daycare, walks and everything in between. As a very attached dog -mom, I would always recommend!!”

“Linda took great care of my dog during the few hours I was away. Even though my trip was canceled and I picked him up the same day, everything went smoothly. Thanks to Linda and her sweet dog, Mugsy!”

“they were very communicative throughout the whole boarding process. I will definitely reach out to them again if I need my dog to be taken care of, they have a wonderful backyard for your four-legged furball.”

Vicky is nothing short of amazing!. She kind, caring and very understanding that you and your dog may need a little extra attention to relax. I knew after the first set of photos that she was really getting to know and care for my pup based on the comments she sent. All dogs have unique personalities and boy did she nail them on the head!. My dog has pretty severe separation anxiety: to the point he has injured himself. This was my 2nd time with Vicky and as soon as my boy saw her he took off running toward her, tail wagging with barely a ‘see ya mom” look back. She went above and beyond to make sure he was comfortable, happy, exercised and secure. She does have 3 small rescue dogs that are as welcoming as she is and they were very respectful of my dog by giving him some space to adjust and also making room on the bed so they could all snuggle up with mom. He was part of the pack and enjoying himself in no time. I cannot recommend her highly enough, having had dogs for 30+ years she is absolutely the best caregiver I have ever had and I know my “Velcro” dog actually misses all of them.

Jerikah was great!!! She sent me daily updates with pictures of Theo and he looked so happy. She informed me of all that was happening throughout Theo's stay. I would definitely recommend her if you are looking for great care of your furry pet!!! I have already booked another stay. Thank you again, Jerikah!!! :)
We couldn’t have asked for a better dog sitter! From the moment we met her, we felt completely at ease leaving our three dogs in her care. She was reliable, caring, and treated them like they were her own. We received updates that gave us peace of mind while we were away, and it was clear our pups were happy, comfortable, and well cared for. Coming home to three relaxed and happy dogs says everything about the incredible job she did. We truly felt our dogs were safe and in the best hands possible. We would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and compassionate pet sitter. 10/10—we’ll definitely be booking with her again!

Casey took care of my baby Grizzly and she was so nice, you can see she really cares since she is a cat mom herself. She accepted to do drop in visits before our trip so Grizzly could meet her and be more confortable. My cat is super shy but she was very patient with him!

Emily was the best!!! She took care of our golden, Koa, for a full week and made sure to keep us updated with pictures the entire time. He looked like he was in great care!! My flight home was cancelled last minute and Emily was super accommodating and communicative. Would recommend her to anyone and would absolutely come back to her again!

Richard, Sam and Benji were fantastic — it was like Sep went to summer camp and didn’t want to come home. Their house and yard were perfect. Benji was an active playmate for Sep. They sent lots of pics and kept me informed regularly. They are such great dog people. I was completely comfortable leaving Sep.

Danielle isn’t just a local pet sitter, she’s THE BEST local pet sitter in Palm Beach county!! She’s very kind, responsive, takes amazing pictures, and my cat liked her so much I don’t even think she wanted to come back home with me lol. Hands down will be the first person I ask to watch my pet!

I highly recommend Cassie. She was a fantastic sitter for my dog, Maya. She was friendly, accommodating, easy to communicate with, and made me feel at ease while I was traveling by sending lots of pictures and updates each day. I came home to a very happy pup and could tell she had received lots of love and been well cared for. I would book with Cassie again!

Kelia was excellent! With her support I was able to take a much needed vacation without worrying about my cat. I knew she was the perfect match for Pinky when I read her Bio but after meeting her and seeing how comfy he was with her I knew he would be safe. Kelia board my cat a for 2 weeks and reassured me he was well. I am forever grateful for Kelia and her genuine family.

This is the first time I boarded Lolli with a sitter and we were SO LUCKY to have found Ashley! Lolli was very anxious and she went above and beyond to care for her, communicating with me all the way, so kind and generous! After the first difficulties Lolli was perfectly happy and secure, and I am so, so thankful for her dedication and care. Six stars!⭐️

We were set to be out of the country for 10 days. Piper, our 14 year old yorkie, had been staying with another lady when we would go somewhere that would not accommodate dogs, but she retired last year. I had originally found her on Rover and decided to look again for a dog With specific needs. I contacted Emily and we took Piper over to visit. She loved it there and Emily could not get enough of Piper, and she said yes! I had written instructions on feeding, quirks, etc. The day we dropped her off. Emily sent pictures and videos of what they had been doing all week! Piper loved the big dog pillow and claimed it as hers! We came back and was ready for home but I know piper would love to visit Emily again. Since she only takes one dog at a time that was a blessing. I highly recommend Emily to anyone who has a senior dog. We love her!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
