About: Firefighter/paramedic and dog/cat lover. Have had multiple dogs, cats as a child and always a dog and/or cat as an adult. Dependable, trusted and active with your fur baby. Keeping dogs and cats happy, healthy and active. I work as a private personal trainer full time. But I have breaks thru out the day and afternoon I'm home for a few hours. Can also adjust my schedule as needed. My mornings start early so I make sure your fur baby is taken out for a walk, bathroom break has meal/water. Afternoon play with them etc. Will take videos/pics and send to client. I do train later in evening. Once home and cooler I normally will take them for a longer walk. This is all dependent on what the owner wants and age/mobility of the animal. Cats make sure are fed, water, clean cat box and played with. Walks are on leash. I will stop or cross to other side if other dogs coming so no potential incidents.
“Susana was a great kitty sitter! She was so loving and attentive to my kitty and took such great care of him. She listened to all his needs and even administered his medicine daily perfectly which isn’t easy! She was very accommodating with my schedule and was very communicative- sending me pictures and updates on him during his stay which made me so happy.i can’t wait to have her watch both my cats again soon!!”

“Stephanie and Kevin are fantastic. I am so thankful for them. My two doodles are taken care of so well and come home happy. It’s nice to feel at ease when I am away. Boarding facilities give my older dog anxiety, so a comfortable home setting is always preferred. Stephanie and Kevin are the best!”

“This is the third time Kevin watched our dog. When we dropped her off, she knew exactly where she was and ran into his home with lots of joy & excitement! She didn’t even turn around to say goodbye, lol. She loves being with with Kevin, I think she loves him more than me! He sends us pictures and videos all the time and responses immediately to any questions. We strongly recommend Kevin and know that she’s always in good hands.”
“Odalys and Manuel were amazing with my Lily. This was the first time I've boarded my dog and I'm so happy I did it with them. Right before boarding my Lily had an allergic reaction and had a bit of extra instructions with her medications. But they did an amazing job. They constantly sent me updates throughout the day and really treated my dog like she was family.”

“Natalia and James took great care of my dog Finley, she didn’t want to leave! They provided lots of updates throughout watching her and gave her lots of outside activity. They were also very flexible with pick up and drop off time which was appreciated.”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Lake Worth
Yaniuska is absolutely amazing! She took such great care of my dog, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. She was incredibly communicative throughout his stay, sending regular updates and photos that gave me so much peace of mind. It was clear he was loved and well cared for. He had such a great time, and when I picked him up, he was happy, relaxed, and honestly seemed even happier than when I dropped him off! As a dog parent, there’s nothing better than knowing you can leave your fur baby somewhere they’ll be safe, loved, and genuinely enjoy themselves. I highly recommend Yaniuska to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring, and reliable sitter. We’ll definitely be booking with her again! 🐾💕

We couldn’t have asked for a better dog sitter! From the moment we met her, we felt completely at ease leaving our three dogs in her care. She was reliable, caring, and treated them like they were her own. We received updates that gave us peace of mind while we were away, and it was clear our pups were happy, comfortable, and well cared for. Coming home to three relaxed and happy dogs says everything about the incredible job she did. We truly felt our dogs were safe and in the best hands possible. We would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and compassionate pet sitter. 10/10—we’ll definitely be booking with her again!

Shalie was able to take care of my fur baby at the last moment due to a family emergency. I loved the frequent updates, pictures and videos throughout the day. It really gave me peace of mind. Shalie was very responsive and most importantly took such great care of my Daisy, that it was honestly such a relief! Will definitely use her again, especially since she now has a relationship with my dog. I recommend her services because she is honest.

Emily was the best!!! She took care of our golden, Koa, for a full week and made sure to keep us updated with pictures the entire time. He looked like he was in great care!! My flight home was cancelled last minute and Emily was super accommodating and communicative. Would recommend her to anyone and would absolutely come back to her again!

I highly recommend Cassie. She was a fantastic sitter for my dog, Maya. She was friendly, accommodating, easy to communicate with, and made me feel at ease while I was traveling by sending lots of pictures and updates each day. I came home to a very happy pup and could tell she had received lots of love and been well cared for. I would book with Cassie again!

Lissette was amazing with Max, she took really great care of him. he was a very happy pup there with friends to play with. Max ran out of his food in the last few days and Lissette went out of her way to secure his food to make sure he is okay. Would 100% recommend her and definitely book her again!

Sarah took wonderful care of my pup! She was extremely responsive and provided photos and videos throughout the stay so I was able to see how comfortable and happy Cali was. She absolutely loved the pool and Sarah took her out to the beach so it was a vacation for her too! We would definitely have Cali stay again.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
