About: I have been involved in animal rescue for the past 15 years. I have extensive experience with dogs with behavioral and medical issues. I have owned dogs that were extremely abused and were aggressive. I am able to respect their boundaries and create an environment that is supportive and nurturing. I also have experience with medically needy dogs. I have no issues administering medication, whether orally or with injections. One of my senior rescues that recently passed required medication every 8 hours and eye drops multiple times daily. She was aggressive and never took them without a fight but I found a way to ensure she got the care she needed to live a long and comfortable life. My current two Shih Tzus are younger. I have taken them to training and worked extensively on socializing them. I work from home so I am always available to take care of dogs. About: I've cared for my family dog growing up and walked neighbors dogs and pet sat family and friends dogs for many years. I have experience walking, sitting and boarding at my home. I work full time evenings, so I have a whole day of sunshine to take your dog out to walk and play. I'm available for boarding all days. I live in a pet friendly apartment with a nearby park, dog park and nearby grassy areas and walking paths. I'm happy to crate the dog if needed.
About: I grew up with large dogs, my yellow Labrador, Leo, and Bull Mastiff, Dexter, as well as fish, hermit crabs and leopard geckos. I also watch my brother’s boxer/pit mix, Roxy from time to time. The last few years I have been cat and bunny sitting for several friends when they travel and in the last year or so adopted an orange cat of my own. His name is Honey Nut and he followed me home from the bus stop. I love animals and am a licensed massage therapist who can give your beloved fur babies the best pets! My schedule is pretty open currently. No formal employers at the moment, only other obligations are private massage clients when booked, and my yoga practice. I can be available to visit and care for your fur baby as attentively as they are used to. I love a list and getting familiar with each animal’s personality!
