“We recently had Skyla care for our dogs, and she was incredible! She managed each dog’s unique needs keeping them comfortable. Her updates and photos gave us peace of mind, knowing our pets were in great hands. Highly recommend Skyla for anyone needing a dedicated and trustworthy sitter for your dog(s).”

“I have 2 elder cats, one with special needs. We moved and are new to this area. I needed a trusted soul with my girls and found just that. Easy, professional, a wish come true. To have Jessica is more then peace of mind to me. I was able to leave for an extended time and know, through communication and pictures that everything was alright at home. Having Jessica allowed me to have the best time in a very long time. I can't thank her and Rover enough. i will definitely book again. Thanks Jess!”

About: I have had a plethora of pets my whole life. I have a lot of experience with senior/special needs cats and dogs and other critters but love pets of all ages! I currently work full time during the week but enjoy pet sitting in evenings or weekends! I am very active and would love to take your dog on a long or short walk! I am a very calm person and pets seem to warm up to me easily. I enjoy both dogs and cats and have experience taking care of almost any animal.
“Mackenzie has always watched our feisty, 7 yr old cat & she was very quickly able to warm up to our new, little Daisy! She watched the girls through the holidays & it was obvious from the photos how much they love her!”

About: I’ve been caring for dogs for several years by watching pets for family members, coworkers, and neighbors. Through these experiences, I’ve cared for dogs with different personalities, sizes, and energy levels, and I understand that every dog has unique needs and routines. I believe pets are happiest when they feel comfortable, safe, and loved, so I take the time to follow each owner’s instructions closely, whether that’s feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medications, or simply providing companionship. I treat every dog as if they were my own and make it a priority to keep owners updated with messages and photos while they’re away. My goal is to provide dependable, attentive care so you can have peace of mind knowing your dog is in good hands. I'm currently working part-time, so l'll have plenty of time to play with your pups! I'm available for boarding as well. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I have a secure, fenced-in backyard where dogs can safely play and get exercise, and I live in a one-story home with plenty of space to relax. I also have a friendly miniature Goldendoodle who loves other dogs and enjoys having playmates. I live with my retired grandmother, who is also a big dog lover, so your pet will receive plenty of attention, care, and companionship throughout the day. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I always follow their routine and instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walks, medications (if needed), and any special care requests. I treat every pet as if they were my own and strive to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away.
“Kristen is by far the best sitter we have ever had for our cats. A total cat girl and you can she actually loves our cats. She is overly thorough and has a lot of pride in her services and it shows. We are so grateful for her flexibility and willingness to step in when we are away.”

“Laura is absolutely the very best pet sitter. Just arrived home from a short trip to spend time with my family. Loved my daily reports and photos and finding my kitty safe and sound with clean letters and full food bowls and water when I got home! If you need a sitter for your pets, you can count on more giving them all the love and care you need while you're out or away.”

“We have used Geri multiple times for our fur babies. We have cats and dogs (one of which is a puppy). She is always so great and easy to communicate with! She sends constant updates and pictures to let me know everyone is well cared for. She has done overnights in our home and drop ins. It’s great knowing we have someone reliable to use as a familiar face! I highly recommend Geri for any pet sitting needs!”

About: I had two dogs growing up I loved so much. My friends and family run to me when they have any type of dog service needed as they know I love animals. I have done plenty of walks, overnight services, and drop-ins. I adore dogs so so much and have a strong passion to give them top quality care as if they were my very own! I walk, sit, and board dogs full time. I take pet care as a seriously job. I am available for early mornings, late nights, and in between! I have open availability and aside of that am a stay at home mom. I recently moved away from my childhood home where we had to dogs. But I would go on walks with them every single day and took care of a lot of their daily needs. I treat every single dog as if they were my own. I truly believe dogs are not just pets but are family members who deserve the same level and care as a child.
“Alexis is FANTASTIC!!!! I came home to a sparkling clean home, kitties well taken care of, she even vacuumed and cleaned up. She sent me pictures of the cats every day and even my very shy boy cat loved her! She’s gonna be my go-to catsitter now, terrific job!”

“Giuseppe was super kind and amazing with Jazzy! He communicated perfectly and Jazzy did so well with him. Will definitely be contacting him anytime I need someone to look after her.”

About: I've been surrounded by animals my entire life and have built a career around caring for them — including work as an adoptions manager, kennel manager, and veterinary administrator. That background means I'm comfortable with dogs of every size, breed, and energy level, from high-energy pups who want to run laps with me in the yard to seniors who need a slower pace and extra patience. I have hands-on experience administering medication to dogs and cats of all sizes, and I'm especially confident with elderly and special-needs animals. My experience also extends beyond cats and dogs — I've worked with everything from hamsters to lizards to tarantulas, so if your household includes an unusual pet, I'm not fazed. I have reliable transportation and will happily work around your schedule to find what fits best for you. I'm always reachable by phone, so please don't hesitate to reach out with any questions or concerns before, during, or after a booking. I'd love to meet you and your furry (or scaly!) friend — looking forward to it! My schedule is wide open, which is great news for your furry friends! I'm job hunting, but that leaves me with plenty of flexible time for walks, drop-ins, or boarding — mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, you name it. If you need a sitter who can actually work around your schedule instead of the other way around, that's me. I care for pets in their own home rather than mine, since I have my own animal household to manage. I find this actually works out better for your pet too — no new environment, no new smells, no other animals to navigate. Just their own space, their own routine, and me making sure they're comfortable, safe, and loved the whole time you're away.

“Diane is great! We appreciate that she was available during the holidays. We found her after making last minute travel plans and she made the whole process super easy. Diane was accommodating with our schedules and with the cats - helping to keep routines that made them comfortable. She was punctual, observant, and communicative which was very meaningful to us. After traveling all night, it was so nice to arrive to a clean home and happy cats! Thanks again!!”

I cannot express enough how grateful I am to have found Giuseppe. I was gone for an entire month for my 2 cats and Giuseppe came every day and spent time with them to make sure they were stimulated. He also made sure to keep me updated and sent pictures regularly! It is clear Giuseppe loves and cares for all animals and it is evident in the way my cats were loved and cared for while I was away. You should definitely book Giuseppe for your pet needs!

Jennifer was wonderful with our cat Star. She came over to babysit for a couple of hours and was attentive, kind, and clearly comfortable around animals. Star can be a little particular about people, but Jennifer handled everything calmly and patiently, which we really appreciated. It gave us peace of mind knowing Star was in good hands while we were out. We would absolutely recommend Jennifer to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
